I like the idea of Peter going into ‘burn’ to protect Wade and Wade taking care of his Spidey after everything. I, at first wanted to write a fic based on that prompt but this project took over my mind and I needed to finish it asap. god I am so down bad for this Spidey it’s not funny (,,>﹏<,,)

Thank you! I always love when people who enjoy my work come off anon and let me know who they are on AO3. I’m glad you enjoy it! I had a very specific vision for those characters and it’s great when readers really connect with it.

How fucked up am I for feeling like hemlock dreams deleting their tumblr is just soooo weird because like so many followed and loved their work? But at the same time like that’s their work so they should do whatever the f they want with it and probably wouldn’t even want anyone to know they were gonna delete it all in order to save their favs but like it still crosses my head like wtfffff. And I saw that they even deleted their story about it on ao3. But like who the f am I to even be like feeling this way about someone else doing what they want with theirrrr work. And I almost didn’t want to send this ask because like what if they see it and like it fucks with their head or even a fan seeing it and being like ya wtf like I’m inciting other people to have a bad and fucked up response??? So now I’m just like wtf to me and wtf to them lol. I feel like the only response to this is like ya it’s sad, suck it up.

I wasn't going to answer this ask but I've seen this sentiment float around whenever a fan-artist/author deletes their art and it always bothers me so much.

if you read any of hemlockdream's ask responses/looked at their past content you would have seen that they were incredibly open about deleting their body of work when they get bored. this was stated several times throughout the lifespan of their blog + if you check their main you will see people reacting to them deleting old blogs for other fandoms. it is not weird. once this work stopped creatively stimulating to them there was nothing tying them to it. people are allowed to delete their body of work without considering an audience that they technically owe nothing to.

next time you almost don't want to send an ask to me. don't send it! as a creator - I am not ever going to commiserate with fans about being upset that an artist/author deleted something. I support that! I always will. it's entitlement to expect someone to keep something around just because people loved their work. it's not about you! I can see why you're sad, but you are correct. you do actually gotta suck it up. or at least approach it in a way isn't calling an artist weird for choosing not to keep their work accessible when they no longer feel invested. this was always going to happen to hemlock's blog! people just never considered how quickly someone's interests can shift and this is the byproduct of that.
