I love how it’s just Silly

Like the tv show leans the hardest into the “yeah they’re goth and weird and people are scared of them but it’s not because they’re trying to be scary it’s just because this is what makes them happy and they’re committed to being happy as themselves even though it’s totally different from external expectations”

I LOVE baby!Wednesday I think she’s so neat she’s just like. She’s a weird kid! She likes to dance with the eight foot tall butler! She’s learning and figuring stuff out about herself! Her parents love her!

I think as far as morosexual representation goes, the tv show has it on lock. Gomez is so fucking stupid he’s so fucking stupid but he loves his wife SO much and Morticia is so endeared by him being a complete and total dumbass. Sometimes you simply must stand on your head for 3-5 hours and that’s just how it is!

OPHELIA! OPHELIA! MY BEST FRIEND! 

I like how all the character choices especially for side characters are just off the wall insane. Like yeah okay Ophelia has flowers growing out of her head and is an incurable romantic who judo flips everyone she interacts with. Okay Cousin Itt sounds like that and is a ladies’ man who can’t hold down a job. Alright Lurch is the only one with anything resembling a critical thinking skill. It’s less about being ~scary~ and more about just being...outsiders I guess. Outsiders who all love each other I :pleading_face:

Move Towards the Darkness is a stunningly beautiful song every version of it is gorgeous the harmonies are gorgeous it’s the only part of the Whole show that gets the Themes Right and it’s just. Man. Man what a song
