If you ask me how long was he gone, all I can say is that he was gone for about...1 Week...

You can't blame him! You reminded him of his mother when Mrs. Baji would always scold him to study Kanji and no one told him studying another language would be so hard! Movies lied to him!

Baji's hands tremble as he held your hands, you and him were now standing in front of your parent's house in Korea. The two of you traveled a week away before Christmas, stayed in a hotel, and would now surprise your parents.

"Y/N...Can we go home? I don't think my Korean is that good...Let's le--" You quickly kissed baji on the lips, cutting him off from continuing his sentence.

"You'll be fine, You're Korean improved" You cooed at your boyfriend as you cupped his cheeks and lightly rubbed soothing circles on them. Baji smiled lovingly as he nodded.

Reaching for the doorbell, you pressed it. After a couple of seconds of waiting, you heard someone unlock the gates and when it opened it revealed your mother, her coat draped over her shoulders. She was wearing a black turtle neck along with a beige colored pencil skirt and black stilettos.

"Y/N?!여기서 뭐해?! (Y/N?! What are you doing here?!)" You're mother beamed as he stepped aside and let both you and Baji walk in. You smiled.

"안녕 엄마! 잘 지내고 있나요? 당신은 아름다워 보인다! (Hi Mom! How are you? You look really beautiful!)" You greeted your mother as you wrapped your arms around her to give her a long tight hug, Baji stood there as sweat runs down his forehead due to him being nervous. "안녕하세요 L/N 부인, 제 이름은 Baji Keisuke입니다. 나는 Y/N의 장기 남자친구. (Hi Mrs. L/N, My name is Baji Keisuke. I'm Y/N's Long-term Boyfriend)" Baji introduced himself as he bowed respectfully at your mother, your mother let out a loud gasp as she smiled at Baji and then at you.

"His Korean is really good!" Your mother spoke in Japanese, Baji jolted up and looked at your mother with shock.

"H-huh?...I thought...wait...What?" Baji stuttered as he looked at both you and your mother. You let out a giggle.

Baji just let out a loud sigh.

The rest of the night was spent in the most memorable way, Baji wasn't happy because of your little prank but he was glad that he got to see you having fun with your family <3
