Explanation vv

First panels show a normal day of the prophets, meanwhile Ren is dying on the battlefield. The next panels on the next page is when the sun suddenly disappears without warning, Mumbo is glamored in red from his redstone lamp and Bdubs gets his light from his necklace.

Grian is seen emerging from the water, the snow and ice around him has all disappeared bc he's that warm.

Grian is oblivious to the chaos his lack of presence will bring, and is ready to head off into adventure!

Since Grian is gone, along with natural light, some resources can be used, like coal and redstone for warmth. Redstone serves as a light source too.

also yes, that last pic of enid has no details of hermit enid rn because the last wednesday saw her was during the wedding day like a year back so as far as she knows, enid got her long hair still

however, since its been so long, she forgot enid's eyes

lowkey, i like to think enid and cairo probably end up in a friends with benefits situation

It probably didnt start immediately as them fucking. I like to think Enid helps cairo move in, they get close as friends and when cairo curls her finger along the belt loop of a confused enid after a day of teasing, the day ends with them having sex!

Except when Enid wakes up with cairo away from bed, you're left with a confused dog wondering if what just happened happened

Believe it or not, this is Enid's first time and when you're from a culture where people tend to mate for life, Enid lowkey woke up with a thought that hey, maybe... i can try again

Sex means something after all and sure, wednesday is still in her mind but this is the first time someone has ever given her attention and cairo has always been a nice girl

maybe Enid can really can try again

Then reality crashes when she walks into the living room, fully clothed and sees cairo acting like nothing ever happened

She smiles, she's talking the same and there is no mention of what they did last night

Enid isn't an awkward lady, not at all! But Enid has thought wrong before. She did think wednesday loved her the way Enid did after all so you can say she was a bit more on the cautious side

Maybe she was overthinking it. Maybe sex doesnt mean anything after all, there must be a reason Cairo isnt saying anything

Then it continues

it keeps happening and one day when Enid tries to stop herself because she really can't keep doing this- Cairo says the words that made Enid sink:

"cmon, Enid," She says, breathy and wanting. "No strings attached, its just some fun"

Person A has heard an urban legend of a mysterious hermit living in the nearby mountains who kills hikers and eats them, and decides to go looking for them for excitement. But when Person A meets Person B, who is the only who fits the bill of this rumored hermit, they find Person B doesn’t eat the hikers, they’re diet is mostly foraged plants and sometimes small game they catch, but when they see someone littering, illegally trapping or hunting, or endangering the environment/ecosystem in any way, they kill them and feed them to the local carnivorous wildlife they have befriended over their time spent living in the wilderness - but is amused by the dramatization the public made of them.

Person A is a single parent of a child from a one-night stand who they were unable to get in touch with ever again, but quickly learned their child’s dietary needs were very different from there own (ex: pure life force, cannibalism, blood, toxins, plastic, etc.) and the other parent was probably not human. To protect their child, they take them off the grid and raise them away from people and kill any person who finds out about their child. One day, Person B, a traveler, comes by who has the same dietary restrictions as their child and offers to help raise the child - since their kind are nearly extinct and it was thought impossible for a normal human to be a compatible mate.
