#my post#i think will could also work as ‘the son’ seeing as hes more tied to vecna than el technically is#however el is directly related to what happened to vecna and the upside down while will is a victim of that#hes the spirit theyre chasing in s1 and gets possessed by the mindflayer is s2#which is a very mental/spiritual… thing? like its not physical#will is not a physical actor until id say s3 when he gets to help out to get billy and the flayed#el is the son. it makes sense To Me#vecna is of course the father#id say it was papa but thats too on the nose and he also isnt a major character#hes major to the narrative and to the development of others but hes only present for 2 out of the eventual 5 seasons#and even then only works to develop el#vecna is the father since he made the upside down into what it is now#hes the original. papa did not have powers. he induced els powers#also disclaimer. im not christian. i wasnt raised religiously christian. i am talking out of my ass rn#my catholic headcanons ❤️❤️❤️
