Do you like making magic for your settings, but need ideas for what symbols you should use? Want to make sigils, but the methods available just don't hit right with you? Do you want to roleplay as a mage solving people's problems with spells and gylphs?

Well, this solo RPG may be your ticket to success in at least some of those things!

GLYPH, as stated by its itch.io page, is "...a single player adventure in runic magic, an exercise in creativity, and a supplement to add language and artistry into a variety of tabletop roleplaying games." It was made by the Oddments game company.

I've been watching the progress and creation of the RPG since its first posting and honestly, I love it! The ideas are simple, but creatively inspiring and fun to work with! The structure is minimal, but it is just enough to start your own ideas and make your work personal to you.

I'm not very good at explaining how good it is, but here's a page preview of what I have done so far!

It's only $5 and it's pretty obscure, but I highly recommend it! (This isn't sponsored or anything, I'm completely unconnected to Oddments or any of their workers.)

i’d imagine ‘nami to be very…clumsy? about valentine’s day. he’s never been in a committed relationship before, so he’s accustomed to seeing the holiday from a business perspective…but this year he has you and wants to make your first valentine’s day together special. he’d spend the night before scrolling through discussion forums to put together some semblance of a plan and the day of he’d almost messily piece it together. it’s by no means sloppy — i don’t think ‘nami could be — but it’s a bit chaotic like trying to bake a cake without any prior experience. he’d go out of his way to do all those little things.

Did you make those cosplays yourself?? If so you didn't have an art block, you shifted your focus to other mediums???

Hello! Late response lol, I did mostly make* my cosplays!

*The palisman were 3D printed by FishboneLynx on Etsy, I just had to paint them! I got the "magic staff" from Meijer lol, it's actually a garden tool

The Golden Guard mask, the Emperor's Coven pin, and Amity'a necklace all came from The Mystery Shack (online fandom store)

My incredible mother made the white cloak and I made the crescent moon charms!

And everything else was either from my closet (belts, boots, dress, black pants) or I bought at Target (blue suit and pants) or TJ Max (pink leggings and white button down)

All that being said, I definitely still have art block though. It's getting a little better I'm fighting it and anxiety at the same time. It's like, I want to draw but when I pick my iPad to draw I can feel my chest tighten up with dread and the more I struggle to get a sketch out, the more I start to panic. Fun times lol

It was fun channeling some creative energy into the cosplays though! I've been cosplaying as a side hobby for a few years. I want to cosplay as Danny Phantom and I have plans for Rei from Free! (Throwback lol). I have a lot of fun in the cosplays and a decent about of people wanted photographs which always makes me feel accomplished!
