I had a really productive break between classes I spent on writing my thesis. Then I went for a spontanious rendezvous and you know, when you're local and the other person is not you need to be specific with describing the meeting spot...

I finally have some free time to take some pictures and post them! I can't believe how busy I've been this semester... I took these right after my Biomaterials exam and that's why the calculator is out, I think it makes a nice touch though.

I wrote a little article on a lovely book I read these past two days. It would be wonderful if you gave it a read! 

Katharine Parr was Henry VIII’s sixth wife and the only one to escape the marriage without dying or scarring her reputation. She was intelligent and believed strongly that women deserved an education equal to that of men. She also was a keen advocate for the Bible being read in English instead of Latin.

Mm, idk, I don't really listen to music in playlist form because my preferences are weirdly narrow + I end up spending more time skipping songs than listening. A playlist I do consistently enjoy, tho, is this Classical Essentials one. I also like Classical Miniatures, which tends to have more energetic pieces.

Long time no post but I was so burnt out at the end of last semester that during the winter break I was just sleeping. But now it’s bright in the morning when I wake up and the days are longer and I feel motivated and energised to work!

Aaaand look at my crocheted froggers! I’m so bad at counting the stitches so one is bigger than the other even though I used the same pattern :D

One month in and I am back to the university routine, I found myself a new place to sit and study during longer breaks and everything is going fairly well :)

This monthly cover is inspired by an article about ‘controversial’ architecture in my city that was basically bashing postmodernism which, in my opinion, isn’t as horrible as people portray it and it’s certainly fun to draw.

And also I wrote “hello April”, was very proud of how it looked and then realised it’s May so I had to cover it up🤦

Summer Studying Challenge

6th July - What do you usually do during the summer? Is anything different this year?

Summer is the time when I can finally catch up with my hobbies and my pinterest board is overflowing with ideas for various crafts so I hope I’ll manage to do some of them. For example today I made myself a necklace inspired by those Delft ceramics and it came out pretty good. 

Another thing I do is reading and so yesterday I finished the *Studyblr Classic* a.k.a. The Secret History and I kind of liked it but honestly I expected something better, nonetheless I plan to read The Goldfinch, too because I liked the author’s style.

2nd July - Do you have a specific goal for this summer?

The study related goal is to revise some German because it got a bit rusty since I finished it in high school. I also want to level up my guitar playing skills and recently I bought myself a graphic tablet so mastering digital art is another thing I’ll be doing ^-^

Today I’ll tell you the story of the time when during my physics lab last year we were supposed to determine some metal’s crystallization temperature and it was slow process, I was bored and decided to poke it with a stirrer and suddenly the voltage that was slowly decreasing started to grow and I thought ‘well, shit I broke it’, my friend couldn’t stop laughing and only later on we got to know that there was a moment when the voltage could increase and I just managed to poke it at that exact time XD
