hello folks, and welcome to my first installment of: Titans Rising redesigns!!! where i exercise my creativity a bit and redesign some of the dragons found in the HTTYD tv show and on the app, Titans Uprising

first up, we have the dramillion!!

the totally smooth underbelly has me feeling unpure thoughts and i do not like how so many assets just feel like they're stuck on with glue, i.e. the wings and the facial horns. the tail i could give more of a pass, but i'm aiming to rebrand here, folks, not just to settle for what was. OG design gets a 2/10

first, i did a liiittle study to get used to drawing dragons by drawing the deadly nadder!! OG design 10/10, i find absolutely no qualms

next, i redesigned the dramillion, keeping its spirit while making it feel more like it would fit the httyd style

things like the spikes on its head, the two-toed feet and teeny arms, its beak and underbite, and the fan-like tail fluke were all pretty integral to this being a dramillion. i did my best to reimagine them all in a way that felt cohesive and natural

and here is the final design!!!

everyone is complaining about the new discord mobile update, but they changed it to be exactly how my brain likes things to be organized so maybe it was a special update treat just for me :^) did u ever think about that?

I'm back with Lucas rambling.

Lucas is a husky because he's dramatic, pretty, loud and needlessly argumentative.

Olivia is a deer because she wasn't born for the predator life but was raised by one (she did take out an ICA agent) Deer are just very elegant as well.

47 is a bald eagle because of the pun but also because he is a predator as well, swooping in for a kill, but immediately removes himself from the circumstances, flying off for his next target.

Diana is a cat because she is in charge, intelligent and when she wants to be a little evil bastard

genuinely glad that there’s buttons for Alt text on images now but that button is opaque black and large and by being in the bottom left of the image ends up COVERING captions or other words that are in the image itself and there’s no option to not see the button or make it more see-through so what did we really accomplish here 🙃
