some more miscellaneous Guy, Sonar (Bito), & Feste shenanigans with @arcade-writing cuz they're silly and cute and I am obsessed with this otp & ot3.

they've given me brain worms. <3

Once again this is a VERY LONG POST. be warned!!! this is like.. the longest of these posts yet. These have been piling up for awhile now lol I hope y'all get a kick out of these

Feste heads out to go visit Bito, but can't find him at his apartment at all. flies a bit out from the outskirts where he and Guy's places of living are and further towards more green fields and stuff and he happens upon Bito in a fenced field shirtless and playing with some sheep and goats.

ah. it's just like when he was a boy back in Modora helping his mama and papa with the livestock. he is having the best of time.

come to find out, Guy is also shirtless and helping out. he's bringing back some water and fruits for the animals. When they notice Feste, Guy explains that Bito dragged him along into this, had already contacted the owner of the place and now they're volunteering to aid in tending to them.

Guy didn't want anything out of it, but the owner insisted on at least paying Bito for the help.

Now Bito has an extra means of cash, though it isn't much. He's more just happy to help. He's very good at it. the sheep and goats love him. (too bad the goats keep trying to ram into Guy). Guy doesn't fight or hurt kids (human) but the kids (animal) keep trying to pick a fight with him by bapping their little horned noggins into his shins.

Feste is gonna stay on the fence and watch, or hover around with his ring. Bito hands Feste a little lamb to hold.

Guy coming back from a mission that he had to go solo (aka, without Feste. He was assigned with a group)

And he comes back bloody with a bleeding nose and blood from his busted lip just.. dripping down his face. His white gloves are coated.. got some splatter on his face and body. No one died, he sustained no concerning injury (except maybe a little mild head trauma from getting beat up and some bruised ribs)

He spots Feste who obviously spotted him first with a big shocked expression (wide eyes and concern in his brow) as he was holding his glove below his face to catch the blood dripping, and he looks at Feste, lowering that hand and giving the biggest dopiest bloodiest grin. The happiest grin to see his favorite little Pink Lantern.

He'll live, he just needs a cold drink, a rag and tissues, and to kick back and have some alone time with Feste to rest.

Maybe kiss a little. His lip may be busted up, but by golly he desires a smooch so bad.

He'll tell Feste all about the mission and what happened, what all he did and stuff. It wasn't anything confidential.

And then he'll ask Feste what he did. Wanting to focus on something else for a bit. Guy is just happy to kick back and relax with his arms around Feste.

….Brain hit me with the mental image of Guy and Bito getting into a heated argument that leads to Guy basically pinning Bito to a wall and leaning over him. like.. Bito's sitting down or is crouched for some reason and Guy is frustrated as always, but Bito says something that just causes something to snap in Guy's mind and now he's got his hands slammed into the wall on either side of Bito's head.

Lots of sexual tension between them. Bito is surprised by the action and just kinda goes quiet while Guy pops off.

I know Feste would be sitting and watching this play out, or would walk in and have that usual "ohohoho me next" reaction.

Bito later @ Feste: I understand now. I understand what it is you see in him.

Feste: he really gets your heart racing 💕

Bito: with annoyance

Feste: sexy annoyance

Bito: ……He was kind of… hot, though.

Feste: HECK YEAH HE IS.

Guy: HATE THIS. HATE EVERYTHING. THIS FREAKING BLOWS CHUNKS. DON'T FREAKING LOOK AT ME, DON'T EVEN BREATHE IN MY DIRECTION. I'M GONNA KILL SOMEONE, I SWEAR TO--

Feste: (jingles as he enters the room)

Guy: (ear piercingly high intake of air)

Guy: oohhh my gosh hiiii Feste, hiii my little lover boy, how are you, where've you been all day? I missed you, please give me a kiss I really need it rn-- 💕

Feste & Sonar, but it's like.. Sonar trying to show off and appeal to Feste who is actively fighting his own heart and soul in denial or something, but man he wants that talk tan balkan man so bad, meanwhile Sonar just wants to make a good impression like--

in the JLI HQ lobby:

???: Oh he's really handsome, and he's got flowers? Oh, I wonder who he's here for? He looks like a prince all dressed up like that.. wow 💕

Feste, coming down into the lobby to get away from the bickering in the meeting room: ??? the heck is all this commotion??? someone here???

Feste, seeing Sonar outside in his finest clothes and holding a bouquet of flowers that Feste actually kinda likes: UHHHH.. (starts trembling and panicking, hair puffing up with a few heart curls)

Sonar, catching sight of Feste inside looking at him and perking up and waving joyously at him as he starts walking towards the door: !!!! 💕

Feste: (LOOKING AROUND FOR AN ESCAPE)

Sonar: ? Why is he trying to hide?

Bito learning English from Feste AND picking up the slang and accent quirks from Guy…

Man.

That's one wild accent cocktail.

First the Modoran accent being relatively thick within itself, and then you have dashes of British English and a hint of Baltimore mixed in..

Man I wanna hear what that sounds like so bad.

Balkan man with thick accent speaking British English, but it's got a little Baltimore mixed in.

Bito going "what's all this then"

Gives Feste a jumpscare

Bro just waltzes up behind him and Guy and says it cuz he doesn't know what they're doing or looking at and is curious.

Guy: Why did you teach him that???

Feste: I didn't teach him that!!!!

Bito, who was merely watching tv/learning to use a cellphone: ☺️

Feste asking what Sonar even keeps inside those two pockets of his on his uniform. poking at them when he asks.

Bito just happily is like "You wanna see?" and starts unclipping them to show the contents.

in one is a little sonar device + small soni-tracker pins. he can use them to tag and track down foes if needed. the sonar-radar tracker itself can be used in other ways, like scanning a certain perimeter to see what's all there when one can't see for themselves.

in the other is both the specialized earmuffs he can pin to his hat to help protect himself from his own gadgets. And the special device that allows him to fly or float via supersonic sounds (and allows him to do those cool powerful punches). he keeps that device in the pouch at all times.

He's just happily info-dumping all this knowledge to Feste and even says he'd be happy to show him how they work sometime.

….man.. just imagined Feste & Bito going on like.. a little date together.. and Bito's using this as a chance to practice his english, asking Feste not to use the ring to translate.

Bito is doing his BEST to practice and learn to speak the language. learn the slang and lingo. He may say some things wrong, or get the wrong word, but he's happy to have Feste correct him.

in return… Bito teaches Feste a little Modoran.

They trying talking to each other in broken English & modoran

it's very amusing for the both of them to try and figure out what the other is saying. it's just a very fun time.

sometimes.. during these moments when Feste doesn't have the ring translating everything.. Bito will use it to say some things to Feste. things he never taught Feste what they mean. and it absolutely flusters Feste. especially cuz Bito's voice dips and sounds REALLY hot when he does that. Feste just KNOWS it's gotta be something cheesy and romantic. Bito is absolutely flirting with Feste in Modoran.

if Feste ever sneakily got the ring to translate it without Bito realizing and Bito found out?

Bito would be covering his face, going SO red and feeling so embarrassed. he wanted to be cool and smooth and a bit mysterious or something!!! now he just sounds cringe (to himself at least)

Feste: You're a very responsible man, Bito. Very sexy, very wealthy--

Bito: Y-You think I'm wealthy?

Feste: --I think you should take your shirt off.

Bito: Hold-- Hold on. What was that last part?

Feste: :3 ;3

Feste: so some people think you're a villain…are you…actually one or-?

Bito: what? No! I am a hero! I only wish to honor my country by showing our potential, I would never disgrace it with villinary

Feste: oh…well..i mean If you do ever become one- here's my number regardless

Bito: …do….. Do you want me to? ..Uhm.. be more… assertive? domineering? ….Is that what you want of me?

Feste:

Feste: Well I wouldn't really say no--

Feste getting that treatment by Bito only. meanwhile Bito is always otherwise a pleasant man.

if Feste wanted it, then Bito is gonna lean on the wall behind Feste, leaning over him. giving Guy a smug smarmy side-eye look as he reaches a hand around to grab Feste's hip and rear firmly before leaning further and whispering in his ear something that would have Feste giggling.

maybe Bito is also taking notes from his observations of Guy in his actions he makes towards Feste. y'know. learning what he likes and all.

Guy: I hate that man so much. I can't STAND that guy--

Bito: (making dinner)

Guy, quietly: Have I ever told you how much I love you?

Bito: Hm?

Guy: your food. I love your food. clean your nasty ugly ears. you're blasting your own hearing away with your own gadgets.

Bito: Feste, he seems more grouchy than usual.

Feste: Nah don't worry about it. Second to me, you're his favorite person.

Guy: SHUT UP.

Me: Honestly. My Sonar is very strong. Big and beefy. Meaty and it ain't just for show. If some bad guy disarmed him of his tuning fork gun, he'd be able to hold his own in hand to hand combat against them. Rush in and give them a good punch to the face. He has Guy's respect for that.

Me: Guy & Bito fight…. Bito bites Guy and Guy is shocked that Bito would fight dirty like him. Bito isn't above using all the tools nature has bestowed upon him from birth.

Arcade: "you forget I have fists!" -Punches them-

Arcade: meanwhile Feste is like "I'm just a little guy! You don't wanna hit me. I'm so small and little and-" [RAPIDLY SPEED DIALING HIS BOYFRIEND]

Me: The question isn't "which boyfriend?" It's obvious it's both. The question is "which one is gonna arrive first?"

Me: Feste has scary dog privilege having Guy & Bito as his boyfriends.

Me: Feste is in danger? Those two are like rabid snarling beasts ready to maul and maim. What's scarier? Guy's explosive destructive anger, or Bito's silent calm anger? Or Feste's own anger when one of his boyfriends is in danger?

Arcade: Feste's anger is only good until he's bugging out like a cat with a hairball coz it made him nauseous.

Arcade: Calm anger is terrifying , you can't anticipate that as easily as explosive types.

Me:

???: Man. Sonar is so kind. Nothing seems to get under his skin. I've never seen him get angry, even when Guy blew up at him that one time. Usually that'll set anyone off lol

Feste, knowing dang well that Sonar has gotten furious many times before and what that looks like: it's rude to talk about people you don't know. It makes you look like an idiot spouting lies.

Guy & Sonar patting a seat between them saved just for Feste to join them in devouring some shrimp and more.

Sonar won't shut up about some seafood dishes they have in Modora and it's making Guy angry that he can't eat them and angry that he's STILL getting hungry. he's constantly got like at least 3 shrimps in his mouth at all times. the man is FIENDING for some food and they got a massive pile of it. it's like that scene in Spirited Away of the parents grabbing all that food and stuffing their faces.

and Feste is sitting in between them nibbling on his own plate of whatever the heck he picked out from the pile on the table.

this meal is on Guy. Feste doesn't have to worry.

..I just had the mental image of GL!Sonar using his ring to conjure up some massive speaker system constructs and blasting the enemies away with Modora's national anthem on maximum volume. his love and pride of his home is like nothing else.

Guy: What the HECK?!

Bito: I panicked!!

Guy: Well panic some more!! We have another wave of these freaks incoming!!

Bito: Ahh-- R-Right away!

redirecting the speaker system to blast away the enemies again. Extremely effective.
