Himmel doesn't mind being a fake hero, as long as he defeats the Demon King, whether he's a real or fake hero doesn't matter.

And that's what Himmel did: he saved the world by defeating the Demon King without the real hero's sword.

And even though Himmel has accepted the fact that he's a fake hero, to Frieren, Himmel is a real hero !

And the best part is that Frieren knows the real Himmel, the one who didn't manage to get the real hero's sword, the one who constantly brags about his beauty. And unlike people who romanticize heroes, Frieren considers him a true hero in spite of everything. Even if he wasn't perfect, for her Himmel was a true hero.
