So I have recently been exposed to Datestiny, a lovely little fan-made visual novel set in the world of my beloved Destiny franchise.

And I absolutely adore it! The art is so charming, the writing exquisite, and— at least from my experience playing Misraaks' route— the characters are spot-on to their canon counterparts! And that's not even mentioning the absolutely adorable, though highly dangerous, Wizard. There's something so cute about hers and the Player's budding affections, emotions that transcend language and all that.

Seriously if you happen to be in that intersection of soft-hearted romantic and Destiny fan that I inhabit; or if you just appreciate cute, wholesome moments, you have to check out this lil game.

I know for a fact that there’s a nonzero number of people out there who read Omegaverse fic for the worldbuilding, and dear reader if that person is you then I’m here to tell you that you absolutely must read The Books of the Raksura by Martha Wells.

In todays monster fucker thoughts, exoskeletons!

And what happens when someone gets too fat for their exoskeleton >:3 soft vulnerable rolls of flesh sneaking out from under hard armoured plates. The thing that was meant to keep them safe and protected rendered ineffectual by their own gluttony. And when they moult they explode outwards in size, fat once contained by hard armour now able to expand freely to its full size.

Then at their softest and most vulnerable state they are fed even more relentlessly, taking advantage of the lack of constraints to grow them further as they weight for their new, bigger exoskeleton to form~
