HELLO!!! So;; I made like a poster/cover thing for my au/future fic (hopefully) IM SUPER HAPPY WITH THIS ARGH also shoutout to @mothsakura for making the title card of which the little symbols I used here are from <3 I know most of you guys are from my Instagram, BUT I will put a brief synopsis of the story under the cut!! Feel free to check out my ig for all the lore I’ve posted on it so far :]

SO.. the basic idea is a sort of what-if scenario where, what if the hollow knight didn’t want to be sealed in the black egg and was convinced by hornet to run away to deepnest? So yes;; it follows that, but set in about the current timeline of the game, well after everything was said and done, and hollow and hornet are still clinging to the fragments of their broken kingdom, salvaging what they can, and they can’t help but wonder, could things have gone differently?

BUT ALSO.. ghost and quirrel enter back in hallownest at around the same time, and find a lot of things familiar, and so obviously try to figure out what’s going on. They’re eventually joined by Astennu, PK’s name in my au!!who was trapped in the dreamrealm for a very long time and was only recently freed (it’s a long story) and follows them around in hopes that they can help him find hollow and hornet.. so he can try to make amends. But he’s too afraid to tell ghost and hollow who he is.. and they obviously don’t recognise him bevause of their amnesia.. so that’s obviously not gonna go over well.

OK I won’t ramble too much here but if you do want to know more and don’t have ig feel free to shoot me a dm (I will take a while to see it though since I’m not on here that often)
