I guess this is a blog update ?
I am officially done with my daily post about fictional women as I had only planned to do it for the 31 days of women's history month. ( Obviously that didn't like up perfectly). In hind sight I am both surprised and not surprised by which posts were very popular and which one weren't. ( I knew no one would really care about the book ones, and I have a good mutual following in the Hlots community but I didn't realize there weren't many bones fans out here- in fact bones fans please feel free to message/ @ me so I can see more stuff!)
I also think that while I won't post stuff every day I will try and more regularly about Women form tv and film and probably queer folks form TV and film. Partially because it was fun and partially because the longer I spend on Tumblr the more I feel like, admittedly because of some of my own choices, I have ended up in spaces where male characters are the focus for discussion and simping in a way that feels.... Well I just want there to be a bit more content about women even if it is just me simping into the void. The disclaimer as always being I'm actually a theater/history student so any time I talk about media I am kinda just talking out of my ass (and I know that but will continue to do so).
I will try to keep up with Watson and update folks on my journey with Star Trek next gen. But while I'm enjoying it now anytime I talk about a media before I finish it I feel more likely to not finish it.
I promise to keep doing the Hlots as text posts for at least a little bit longer, if not as long as I can come up with them. That being said I'm a senior in college and am staring down 3 of the busiest weeks of the semester so there might be a very brief and unintentional hiatus, only time and my sleep schedule will tell. But if that happens I promise I will be back!
