PR7 Predictions - Royal Navy additions

2 months ago I made the post for PR7 predictions of the Royal Navy, but it is only now that I realized - hang on, the Royal Navy in Azur Lane has HMAS (Australian) ships, don't they?

So I'm going to include a few more ships from the Commonwealth as PR7 predictions; in a separate post.

It's only 3 ships, so I'm not going to add a read-more bar.

HMAS Encounter

Encounter and the next ship are weird. One of their two main gimmicks is that they get access to a crawling smoke screen, much like Haida and a few other British destroyers do; that means she gets a smoke screen that can sort of keep up with the speed of the ship, but not as much as Italian smoke screens, meaning they're not as useful. The second gimmick they get access to is improved ASW abilities.

Encounter is a heavy cruiser with Royal Navy DNA, meaning her AP shells are a bit disappointing but her HE shells are amazing. As a fun little fact, Encounter has the same turrets that Nottingham has (from my Royal Navy post). She's PR material, in my opinion.

HMAS Cerberus

Cerberus is an upscaled County-class light cruiser. Her citadel sits uncomfortably high above the water line, meaning she's susceptible to more damage intake. Other than that, she's a better Encounter; and possibly DR material.

Both Encounter and Cerberus could provide AL with some interesting ASW gameplay.

HMAS Brisbane

Brisbane is a variant of Minotaur.

Much like Minotaur, she gets 5 dual 152mm turrets as main guns. Their reload is worse, at 5 seconds; but they get access to High Explosive on top of the same fantastic AP shells Minotaur has.

While Minotaur can decide between a smoke screen and a radar as equipment, Brisbane can't; being stuck with a Radar. A Radar Minotaur can be scary effective in good hands, same goes for Brisbane, but both ships suffer from catastrophically awful armor, meaning they're beyond vulnerable.

Also, Brisbane gets access to better torpedoes. Ten torpedoes per side that have a 13.5km range, at the cost of almost 3 minutes of reload time.

Brisbane could be an interesting DR glass cannon.
