While in later years the Skull helmets of the Adeptus Astartes Chaplaincy would come to be seen as a representation of the God-Emperors visage, and a potent reminder of His sacrifice for all mankind, at this point in time this masterworked MkIV helm was commissioned by Chaplain Jodocus Sura as a memento-mori of the numerous fallen brothers of the 40th company, lost to Word Bearers treachery on Calth

Not part of the 1000 point build plan, but having built an apothecary and a techmarine, inspiration struck for a simple MkVI conversion to make a Chaplain

Lesson learned - less is more with Nihilakh Oxide.
