Hahaha wouldn't that be amazing! Maybe we should have a long distance book club
#it definitely helps to read multiple books together with the same group of people because you slowly gain more similar references#and ideas of each others tastes#and you can get good insights that you didnt have before from each other#honestly adds such a huge dimension of extra enjoyableness to a reading hobby#i have always loved reading but it was such a solitary hobby and when i meet other big readers they so rarely have read the same stuff?#which unfortunately made the conversation limited even when we both had the same hobby#anyways def recommend to start a book club with people who will be enthusiastic and committed it's been a blast#we all picked one book and read one a month and met at each others places#tried not to say if we liked the book or not for at least the first 15 min of discussion to force ourselves to be creative in our takes#it got better every month as we got more comfortable with each other and with discussing the books and articulating our opinions too#p
