played like 2 hours of ishin which essentially were just the first chapter and while i do have some things to Say about certain technical aspects (mostly texture popping and terrible lip syncing in the non cinematic conversations) of the remake it honestly looks really good and is a lot of fun. im really excited to see where the story goes

#miik plays yakuza #im not gonna complain much about the tech issues cause im pretty sure those are unreal engine things #ive never seen them happen in the other games so yeah i dont think theyll be a problem in future games #and i dont really mind the gameplay itself runs really good on xbox #it is kind weird seeing the animations and like #general feel of y5 in like such modern graphics #also i um. im not really into kiryu as he appears in the mainline game but i cannot resist a man with long hair so. yeah #im looking respectfully #i know who the final boss and shit but i have no idea what actually happens in the story so its been #interesting to say the least #im still not too happy about the face change for hanpeita cause like #sure i get it he was an actor and all that they cant have him again or whatever #but i liked him being like a new face #also shibusawas actor is like way older than kiryu appears and its so weird when theyre like yeah we grew up together #and theyre like clearly 20 years apart #WELL i shant complain more #honestly im just happy we got a localization thenks sega for my life
