I've been remaking some of my old mixes from 8tracks (rest in peace, most beautiful website) on spotify and honestly some of them were so good I'm impressed with myself. I should do this for a living. wish there was a job that involved putting different songs together in a specific order

#like how much thought i put into the continuity of the songs and the overall cohesion of the mixes lol #and very different mixes like from ambient to like... welsh folk music lmao #every day of my life i miss 8tracks #honestly spotify has been so destructive for every other kind of music platform like... remember pandora? its obsolete now #the other thing i miss dearly is windows media player. hands down the best music software there will ever be #it was ugly but SIMPLE. FUNCTIONAL. my library was immaculately organised
