But, honestly? I pity Aemond, he clearly got terrified by what Vhagar did. He didn't want this to happen, he wanted to tease Lucerys, not to kill him. You can see the dread on his face.

My theory about Helaemond
The wildest thing about Aemond x Helaena? Both seems to die at the same day. When I read the Fire & Blood wiki page.. guess what? Aemond died at the battle of Gods Eye On the twenty-second day of the fifth month of 130 AC. And guess the day of Helaena committed suicide ? ALSO On the twenty-second day of the fifth month of 130 AC. What if.... after she became mad after the death of Jaehaerys, but still holding on to a hope that Aemond will be back to her after avenging the death of their son?? But after she heard of him dead on the battlefield, she committed suicide afterwards??
And in the books, Aemond and Helaena was only implied. I have feelings the show will also make it as subtle as they can, but for sure these two share something special. Just see the ep8. Aemond keeps looking at her dancing with Jace, even moving his chair so that he can look better. I dont expect the show will make them confessing love for each other, but if he really fathers her children, it will make the Blood and Cheese event more heartbreaking than it is, tbh.. “A son for a son” indeed

Okay I love Harwin and I'm sure Rhaenrya will always have a special place for him in her heart. But to be fair... she's always loved her uncle and just these...
This scene. Was just everything.
The poor kids though, they are just standing there like... "we just lost our mom/aunt, dads/uncle(s?). Can we do this later?"
Anyways. I love that they planned Laenor faking his death so he could be happy with Sir Qarl.
Since when Laenor said Qarl was going back to fighting in the Stepstones (which he did not want I imagine from him wanting fancy things), to Laenor wanting to be with Qarl but knowing he should put aside his happiness to keep his marriage vows, to Rhanerya knowing them continuing this marriage would just cause both of them to be unhappy.
Daemon killing that poor guy on the steps to have him impersonate Laenor. Because Rhaenrya and Daemon both know that he can and will murder for the fun of it and for schemes.
I feel bad for Laenor's parents, they think both their children are dead.
I'll end this with this:
Ouch. I mean, there's no love lost between these two but it always hurts to be called the name of the dead spouse.

Alicent was finally starting to take steps in the right direction and make peace with Rhaenyra and now she is gonna claim her husband's dying wish was to see Aegon ascend the throne but have no way to prove it.
And as soon as she mentions anything about the Song of Ice and Fire Rhaenyra will understand what her father meant but ALSO have no way to prove herself because only the Targaryen heirs know the prophecy
Everythings about to get FUCKED

I don’t love Alicent and Cole getting together as reported, but what really gets me is that it’s apparently during B&C … just why 😭😭
It feels so unnecessary

Rhaena: That was my mother’s dragon!
Aemond: Your mother is dead.
Rhaena: I was supposed to claim her!
Aemond: Well then you should have claimed her.
