Sometimes universities DO open ur eyes to see social issues like the whole “buy groceries like a person in poverty while trying to stay healthy” assignment where I realized fuck am I in poverty????? Why is this weekly budget 2.5x higher than my budget rn!!!!!! Am I actually in a sitcom where a ghost is haunting me and they’re existing in the form of a white girl

#text #I literally talk sm I’m sorry I posted this on ig too #I’m literally HAUNTED #no this was not my assignment nor at my school #a white girl rly was crying to me about this assignment #she was like I feel faint all the time and sick and #was crying at the store bc I was debating btwn apples and blueberries #it’s!!!! haunting me!!!!!!!!!!#it’s been years but also!!!!#I literally am able to spend this much on groceries now #I can afford to pay the hefty price of POVERTY APPARENTLY #like my budget at the time was 2.5 less… what #ok tbh that budget idk how it made sense like #how did I exist? prob 4 dollar meals that I ate 3-4 times #ngl I rly did that #I can afford this amount now and be like #teehee I’m a little luxury!!!! hehe #god damn poverty income is like a lot higher than I thought
