WHAT'S IN MY MAIN BAG?? - BETTER CR
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My bag is a Kappa matte leather tote bag in the shade Peach Milk and Foam Pink! I have a different bag for my school days, but unless you guys wanna ask for it, I'll keep it on hold. ^^
My bag is pretty pink, the decor even more so... I love to accessorize everything and give it my own little charms!
୨ৎ KEYCHAINS - just something super cute and simple to accessorize. I picked the middle one while Liya personally made the third one, and Danny picked the first one!
୨ৎ PINS - shows my interests! I'm an avid Precure watcher and Sanrio lover!! The mirror was a small birthday gift from Danny, and I adore it so much!
୨ৎ HAIRCLIPS - Small hair clips on the straps to give the straps some character! I just chose the cutest ones I had!
୨ৎ HANDSANITIZER - Can't go wrong with some hand sanitizer!! I picked my favorite scent, strawberries, because I just can't resist it!
୨ৎ PHOTOCARD HOLDER AND PHOTO - A lovely brief moment from our middle school graduation, just before we headed into high school! Blue is Liya, red is Danny, and pink is... obviously me.
୨ৎ PLUSHIE KEYCHAINS - more accessories to give it even more flair!! As I say, there is no such thing as too many accessories!
୨ৎ POUCH - A small pouch just in case I can't fit everything in the main pocket! It fits a small snack (like mochi or sometimes a Hello Panda snack), an old camera, and some more hair clips since I don't like using the ones on my straps.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here are some of the things inside! Still... very pink. Can't help that it's my favorite color!
୨ৎ PHONE - Yes, of course I'm going to have my phone! It's an iPhone 15 Pro Max in pink! I'm probably never going to change from this phone... it's just so cute!!!
୨ৎ WALLET - ALWAYS have to have my wallet. How else am I going to get 10 sandwiches just for myself from Subway??? It also has an AirTag attached to it, just in case I lose it!
୨ৎ KEYS - My home keys and a key to my parents' home! (Yes, I live in a different house than my parents lol.)
୨ৎ AIRPODS - Always have to have my AirPods with me! They're like my lifeline....
୨ৎ HYGIENE POUCH - Always need one of these! Not really for me, but for my friends or maybe a classmate!
୨ৎ SKETCHBOOK & PENCIL - I'm always drawing, whether that be in the car, on long flights, or even in class. So it's always needed with me!
୨ৎ MAKEUP POUCH - I don't wear makeup very often, usually just lip gloss or some mascara, but my friends might need some makeup!
୨ৎ GLASSES CASE - Danny's glasses inside with my own flair in terms of the case. Danny needs them and often leaves them with me!
୨ৎ HAIRBRUSH - Even though I scripted my hair never tangles, it's literally so useful for anyone to have on them.
୨ৎ TRINKET POUCH - Small trinkets my friends give me go in here! I love having it with me all the time because even though some of my friends are overseas, they'll still be with me!
୨ৎ PORTABLE CHARGER - Again, always needed! I don't want my phone to die on a very long road trip to an amusement park!
୨ৎ CLAWCLIPS - One for me, another extra. Though I use both interchangeably.
୨ৎ CALICO CRITTERS - They're just cute! It also reminds me of my childhood.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
More pink!! Imagine the Hygiene pouch being bigger, as well as the makeup pouch being a bit larger as well ^^;
MAKEUP POUCH
୨ৎ BEAUTY BLENDER - I prefer beauty blenders instead of makeup brushes because I like the absorbent properties of the blenders!
୨ৎ LIP GLOSS - Some Dior lip gloss because I am bougie. Always in love with the slightly tinted color!!
୨ৎ HIGH LIGHTER - Rare Beauty's highlighter in the color 'Enlighten.'
୨ৎ BLUSH - Romand blush in the color 'Vine nude.' I love the subtlety! especially because I already have naturally blushed cheeks.
୨ৎ EYELINER - super opaque, and I love liquid eyeliners. I don't like the texture of pencil eyeliners, and they're easier to smudge, which is good if the person wants it... But I want my eyeliner to stay in place and not budge!
୨ৎ CONCEALER - Dior concealer in the shade 2C or 1C... I forgot. I don't wear foundation because it's usually a bit heavy for my skin. Plus, I don't really need it. My skin's already glowing!!
୨ৎ EYESHADOW - Cupid Club eyeshadow! I don't usually wear a lot of eyeshadow, but when I do, it's usually in pinky-brown tones with some white and sparkles.
HYGIENE POUCH
୨ৎ DEODORANT - a small, travel-sized stick of apple and white tea deodorant! I really wanted a small spray version but they didn't have it :(
୨ৎ BANDAIDS - Just in case someone gets hurt! Of course, they are Sanrio/pink themed! I couldn't help myself!
୨ৎ STAIN REMOVER - I prefer the Tide-to-Go pen because it's super easy to carry and doesn't take up a lot of space!
୨ৎ MEDICINE - I usually carry some Tylenol or Advil with me just in case Liya or Danny gets a headache!
୨ৎ GUM - More gum! Except it's mint and peppermint flavored. I don't use these; it's more for other people... I absolutely HATE peppermint and anything with mint in it, so I stay very far away from these... but I go through them like hotcakes when I go to school.
୨ৎ PADS & TAMPONS - Of course, necessities! I don't get my period, but some other women do in my DR! I have different sizes and absorbencies as well.
୨ৎ PERFUME - Both a tiny Dior perfume and Burberry 'Her' perfume! I love, love, LOVE Burberry perfumes, so of course I've got to have it!
୨ৎ HAIRSTICK - The one I have is from Japan, and it's superrr helpful! My hair can sometimes get some strays, so this is super helpful to have on hand!
୨ৎ VASELINE - gotta have some Vaseline! Super versatile and helps my lips' moisture stay nice and locked in.
୨ৎ DRY SHAMPOO - I don't get greasy roots in between washes, but still, someone else might need it!
୨ৎ HAND CREAM - Honestly, I just chose this for the scent and cute packaging, but it's also very soothing and not oily! It fades into the skin perfectly and has a pleasant-but-not-overbearing peachy scent.
୨ৎ SUNSCREEN - Personally, I LOVE Centella's sunscreen. It's just perfect! There's no white cast, it absorbs into my skin like a sponge, so I don't feel oily... perfection! Also, always have some sunscreen on you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm more sentimental in my DR than I am in this reality, so of course I had to add a little trinket pouch and ask my friends to give me some items!
WALLET
୨ৎ CARDS - I'm extra and have a black card even though I mostly use my **pink** debit card. Yes, I have to emphasize that it is pink.
୨ৎ CASH - I always have that anxiety that somehow I'll never have enough money on my card (even though I have infinite money), so I just keep a little cash on me. I also like to give my friend's money when they ask, so if we are all shopping, I can just give them some money and let them be on their way!
୨ৎ STUDENT ID CARD - Of course I have to have my student ID. It's pink.... You should know why by now. Our student IDs can be accessorized and chosen in different colors. Just imagine it's a bit lighter of a pink ;)
୨ৎ TICKET - This was the first time me, Liya, and Danny went to the amusement park together! It was like in 7th grade when my aunt asked me. I've always been a homebody, but I decided, why not? Let's just say I had the most fun I've ever had in my entire life!
୨ৎ GUM - It's a piece of gum a family friend gave to me for my birthday! It was a joke, of course, but I still saved it.
TRINKET POUCH
୨ৎ CRYSTALS - Danny absolutely loves crystals, especially amethyst. So when she found a perfectly good amethyst crystal on a walk home from school, she was ecstatic and instantly gave it to me <3
୨ৎ PEARL BRACELET - Clara may be overseas, but she sent me a link to a small shop offering pearl bracelets. I couldn't resist! I bought it and now I keep it in my little pouch so I can be reminded of her whenever I look at it.
୨ৎ PURPLE PIN - okay, it may not be a pin, but I have no idea what it's called. This was from Liya! Back in 4th grade, she went to Africa for vacation and brought this back because it reminded her of me. I still don't understand what she means by that, but... I still take care of it and hold it very dear to my heart.
୨ৎ ROCK - just... a plain old rock. Nothing special within it, just a rock. Alice certainly is a very eccentric person by normal standards, but that's okay! She lives in Italy but told me to go outside and find a rock so that she could always be with me. And... that's how I got the rock.
୨ৎ PLUSHIE - Same thing with Clara, Iris lives pretty far away, and I wanted something to keep her close. I asked her to send me a link to something, and she sent me this! I bought it, and now it stays there... lurking... silently watching.
୨ৎ BUTTON - This was actually a button to one of my favorite shirts when I was a kid. It is also the first time I met Odessa. (Odessa is the fairy queen; yes, I will hopefully expand on how faeries are real in my better cr!)
୨ৎ FEATHER, RIBBON, BOTTLECAP - Some gifts that Odessa gifted me! I keep her gifts in a small box because I hate throwing them away, even though she tells me its okay. ^^;
୨ৎ TEDDY BEAR CHAIN - Aether... can you guess what happened with her? Same old story. She lives across the country, and I wanted something to keep her close!!

Sims 3 animated bedding tutorial
I've been working on this tutorial for quite a while now, and i figured i'd upload it for those who need an in-depth explanation on how to assign bones to beds so they animate properly However, i must note that i do NOT know how to assign 'bits' to beds, therefore that part of the tutorial is missing... You may be able to accomplish this if you try following Gruesim's tutorial found here, but it is not included in mine [the bit is the piece that stretches to cover the inside of the bedding]
Also, you will need Gruesim's bed mesh references here
You can download the .doc version of this tutorial here Sideshow_Snob functional bed tutorial [TS3]
Tumblr media
tutorial below -->
Programs you will need: TSRW (i like to use the old version/portable) Milkshape 1.8 Blender (im using 2.7 but you can use any version) Meshtoolkit
-To start, let’s find a good bed to convert. Try to find something that has the blanket, pillow, and mattress textures all on one image, so you don’t have to re-map it. Try and pick a bed where the design isn’t too complicated, if it’s your first conversion.
Tumblr media
-This is an example of a good bed to convert. The textures are all in one image, the polycount is only 2k so we don’t even have to decimate it, and it has a good blanket and pillow mesh.
Step One: [Exporting the mesh and textures in sims4studio]
-Open the bed you chose, and import it into sims4studio. Export the mesh, and all the textures into a folder. I usually name my texture files (1,2,3) and so on.
Step Two: [References to use]
-This is extremely important. Open TSRW and clone this specific bed
Tumblr media
-Use either the single or double version. I’m using bed single modern, since I'm converting a single bed.
-Go ahead and export this bed as a .obj file in the mesh tab, as we need it as a reference to use in blender. Leave this for later, we’ll come back to it when we import our finished mesh.
Step Three: [Separating the mesh in blender]
-Open the .blend file you got from exporting your mesh. We are now going to separate the bed into multiple pieces (pillow, blanket, mattress, bed frame) and fit them to be the same size as the EA Bed.
-Separate your mesh by shift clicking verts, and pressing shift+ to select the entire piece. If shift+ doesn’t select the entire thing, you’ll have to select them all by hand. Separate your selected piece, by pressing P
-After your done, your mesh should be separated like this:
Mattress
Bed Frame
Pillows (i usually separate both of them if its a double bed)
Blanket
Step Four: [Shaping the mesh in blender]
-These shortcuts are going to be very important for this part.
Shift S → x (scales on the x axis) Shift S → y (scales on the y axis) Shift S → z (scales on the z axis)
-Go ahead and move the pieces of your mesh around until they closely align the EA Bed, so it animates properly
-This is what my finished mesh looks like
Tumblr media
-Once your mesh parts are close to the EA counterparts, go ahead and export each piece separately.
-Be sure to give them the correct names (blanket, pillow, bedframe, mattress), so that you don’t get confused later. I usually save the .blend file as well, in case I want to make edits later, which you will probably have to do if something happens after you assign your bones.
Step Five: [Renaming files to the correct groups]
-This is where things unfortunately get a little bit tricky
-We’re going to be going both milkshape and Meshtoolkit quite a bit
-Import the .obj files from your bed, one, by one so we can rename them. They need to be renamed ‘group_base’ so we can assign bones.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Export all files you rename with the same name, except add “merged” onto the end, and export them as a .wso file. The bedframe bones are going to be assigned when we import all the finished bones into milkshape, so you can export it as 'merged' but we aren't going to be using meshtoolkit for that one.
Tumblr media
Step Six: [Assigning bones with meshtoolkit]
-make sure you have frankie’s EA bed mesh references
-Open meshtoolkit → Auto Tools for WSO, and uncheck interpolation, and make sure you have it set to ‘replace all bone assignments’
Tumblr media
-WSO mesh to modify: your merged file
-Reference mesh: The EA reference of the same kind (IE, blanket)
-When it prompts you to save the file, save it over the existing ‘blanketmerged’ file.
Tumblr media
-Once you’ve assigned the bones to the blanket, pillow, and mattress, import them all into milkshape.
-Side Note-
This is important, you will NOT have to merge all your groups if you are doing this for a DOUBLE bed. only merge all the groups if you are assigning bones for a single bed. For double beds keep the groups separate like how they are in the TSRW reference mesh!
-Go ahead and select everything, press the ‘regroup’ button in the mesh tab, and then rename it back to ‘group base’
-do this for everything EXCEPT the bed frame. we will be assigning the bed frame by hand.
Step 7: assigning the bed frame bones
-Since you've got your bed pieces all grouped together and renamed group_base, go ahead and import your bed frame file.
-Go ahead and 'hide' your bedding in the groups tab so we can only see the bed frame mesh. go ahead and search for the specific bone labeled "0xCD68F001" in the joints tab. once you have found it, go to the model tab and click "select". 'alt shift right click' to select all the verts of your bed frame mesh. go back to the joints tab and click assign. your bed frame bones have now been assigned.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
go ahead and "regroup" the bedframe and bedding as one group.
Tumblr media
Import your mesh into the tsrw project we made earlier, import your textures and you should be finished.
Tumblr media
[finished product]
If you have an questions, or suggestions please don't hesitate to ask. I hope this tutorial was helpful ^_^

I recently figured out how to view Portable models in blender so I thought I'd share as it gives us really nice close ups! There are a lot of aspects to Candeloro here that I never noticed or is just really hard to see with what's available to us.
I hope others find this useful too!

d&d robot wizard named Intellibeam Laserstation
(page 1555-1572)
Tumblr media
It’s feeling so Act 2 up in here because we are seeing a couple of kids try to figure out Sburb mechanics while being equal parts competent and silly.
But first, a revelation that Jack Noir has ‘a policy of handing out a REGISWORD and a HITLIST to just about everyone who enters your office’ (p.1555). This is in my homestuck jokes hall of fame because it’s a sudden punch of absurdity that adds to the plot and characterization, instead of detracting from them. I think the jokes that don’t hit for me tend to be when a character uses a phrase format or SBAHJ reference that feels out of character for them to say, or when a joke replaces what could be a character moment (for example, p.444). This joke contributes to Jack’s amorality and clear-headedness while inciting disproportionate violence, and preserves PM’s character arc, since it’s significant if she’s the only recipient of this hitlist who actually carries it out.
It sucks that the Queen keeps Jack locked behind a desk watching other people when he has this much flair and style. He should be on the stage. Also I cannot imagine the damage PM would inflict upon Jack if she saw him open that package that isn’t addressed to him. That’s a MAIL CRIME and I for one am not even curious what’s inside until the package reaches its ADDRESSED recipient.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dave and Jade are a fun combination of Sburb players, because Dave has no concerns with playing the game ‘correctly’ and is willing to go with whatever makes things easier, while Jade has the inventor’s curiosity and wants to exploit hacks and glitches to advance as fast as possible. And Dave may have made fun of Jade for her ‘goofy modusses’ (p.382) but he is definitely benefiting from them now. Jade doesn’t play many games (p.442, 1400) but has spent her whole life engaging with Skaian technology, which is essentially ‘tech that functions on video game logic’ [sidenote: this definition made me decide that the sylladex is also 100% Skaian tech] so I think this helps her intuit how Sburb works.
The ability to alchemize the alchemiter feels right and correct. Alchemiter upgrades and add-ons allow for more complexity in the mechanics without needing more machines than would be practical to work with, just like how Sburb’s Atheneum (p.620) can store previously carved totems so that it’s not necessary to retain the physical objects. It seems like if enough machines are combined into one, the physical steps (moving around, handling and carving cruxite and cards) will be eliminated and the whole process will be automated. On a story level, it allows for power scaling as an upgrade can be anything, and there’s less concern for the time and space that a task takes – small developments like this and the suggestion of transportalizers between planets (p.1531) are still expanding the scope of the story.
I think a portable alchemiter would be a great next step. Gotta have a punch card for a little backpack and then Dave can carry this around while exploring his planet and he won’t end up like John, in a land of copper giclopses far away from weapon upgrades.
But what I love about Sburb is that it doesn’t care if an update is helpful. It lets the players make bad and nonsensical decisions and incorporates them into its logic. It’s open world and if you want a blender or a GameBro bust on your alchemiter then you can. It’s the difference between a game that makes an error sound if your strength is too low to equip the Ultra Greatsword and a game that lets you equip it and then just be a shitty fighter.
Dave struggling for space on page 1563 made me wonder about the smallest space needed to play Sburb. Its name suggests a full house, but a large room, like a well kept studio apartment, might have room. But a dorm room or houseboat or RV or nursing home or hospital simply would not work without modifications, and the idea of playing Sburb in unconventional living spaces is really interesting to me. Maybe if I write fanfiction it will be about that since it seems outside the scope of the comic at this point.
There’s no WAY we find out what the intellibeam laserstation does any time soon – this reveal is definitely getting saved, which leaves room for speculation! ‘Intelli’ comes from intelligence or intelligible, ‘beam’ and ‘laser’ both suggest a highly precise and advanced ray of light, and ‘station’ is a designated place for an activity (or a regular stopping point, and now I am imagining a train station for lasers). So, this is intelligent light, light that can shape and direct itself according to what it’s needed for? Or it’s light that can itself be used as a resource or material, a place for creating light or building with it? Light is a theoretically infinite resource, so could tie into Skaia’s ‘unlimited creative potential’ (p.422). It could even be involved in creating constructs – things with an intelligence of their own – giving lategame players the ability to alchemize their own light kingdom agents to combat the dark.

(hello! tis the mc stuck on tree saved by lilia anon :D just wanted to drop some more fluffs!)
fluff thought of the day: having fun cooking with diasomnia fam. yes, even Lilia.
it feels like a military operation: you're grinning at the absurdity of it all as Silver is very adamant about not letting Lilia improvise no matter what. you won't, but you burst out laughing when you catch Lilia pulling a mistery spice out of his pocket and a bird that is Definitely Not One of Silver's Friends just snatches it out of Lilia'a hands. the old fae begins to chase the feathery miscreant, who even has the gall to perch on one of Malleus' horns for safety. Sebek has his mouth open wide at the sheer audacity, but Malleus is both happy with the attention and being able to save everyone from an impending doom. Lilia could fly to get the damn puffball, but Silver distracts him by asking him about a recipe.
Malleus perches the bird on your shoulder. it hides under your vest. you wonder: how can a bird look so worried? this world's weird, but charming.
Sebek offers to do every single step for Malleus. Silver is now multitasking juggling his father's accidental murder tendencies via food with Sebek smothering the prince. you take pity in the poor man and decided to give Sebek a non-requested visual demonstration on How To Train Your Drago–er, how to help your dragon prince to use kitchen appliances. you let him press all the buttons to test out what they do, making sure nothing will explode.
grinding some almonds in the blender takes nearly forty minutes, but Malleus' satisfied smile is worth it. Silver is playing bait and switch with Lilia's mistery raspberry sauce. there is chaos everywhere. you love every second of it.
the tart comes out decent looking. Lilia cuts some pieces and invites all of you to his room to watch a movie together or maybe play some games (as long as Malleus promises not to break another controller and Sebek promises to enjoy the evening himself without offering to do every race foe the prince.) the leftover ingredients are scooped up by Silver to leave at the windowsill for his forest friends. you brew some tea, cocoa and... is that a small portable freezer with energy drinks? what? Lilia laughs at the face you make. you end up sighing with fondness before grabbing one of his drinks for him. you hope he won't mix it with his tea (he will when Silver is not looking).
the other dorm students will say it's chaos–terrifying and a mess. "the housewarden will get mad if we bother him. maybe he'll blow the kitchen up–everyone run!"
but to you they're just signs of life. of happiness. of finding pockets of humanity within cold, stone walls.
the thing is, though, you know they are always there for those who know where to look.
you feel thankful for your eyes, for you are one of those people that can see it.
(About this post)
Hello Anonie 💚🌷🌺
(Do you want to be called tree hand Anonie? Fluff Anonie?? Dia anon?? Or whichever you choose lol 🤔)
Oh no, cooking and Lilia in the same sentence 😱 jkjk
The way even Mother Nature is fighting Lilia’s cooking 😆🤣 go birdie go!! You got this!!
The bird taking refuge in your vest?? How cute 🥹🥹😭😭
Watching a movie together how sweet 😭😭💞💞💞
Tea and energy drink…well, now we know the real reason why he’s dying 😑 stop that Lilia. 🤺
The way they keep you company and you belong 🫂🫂💚💚 how sweet.
The great part of chaos?? Is that you’re alive and in the now. And for Lilia? Isn’t that the most fun? For him and who he considers family. 💞💞

Your dino models are so cool! I have 2 questions:
1. Are you self taught or did you go to school to learn how to 3d model?
2. Have you heard of the game/play the game Path of Titans?
I did go to college to learn this sort of thing but really nothing came of it. We used Maya as our software (industry standard), but on the last year, I checked out Blender because it offered a better portable experience on my laptop. From there I decided to make the full switch. Since I've been doing these projects, I've gotten my workflow down pat. Something that college failed to teach me
Yes, I've played it for a short time, but it could not hold my interest for long. The gameplay is very boring, but the creature models are very nice.

Hi ma'am, what environment works best for you to work in? Like time of day or specific place?
Hi and hello dear Anon, thanks for getting in touch with your question - I hope you're well! 🤗 Since your question might be interesting for everyone, I've taken some time to answer in depth. I hope it's useful for y'all!
🔽How I work best as a full-time artist🔽
Time/Schedule
I personally work best early in the day when my concentration and energy is at its highest.
Since I am prone to either ALWAYS work/draw or be exhausted from rushing myself, a good schedule is vital! Currently, I am in the process of figuring out a new, much more flexible schedule for myself, where certain days of the week are reserved for tasks with some flex days to switch things around if needed.
I like to start with admin tasks, which I find difficult, and work my way down until I can "just draw", which I find easiest.
Workplace/Set-Up
I work with a PC and drawing tablet set-up, so I am bound to my desk workplace-wise, but I would love to upgrade with a portable tablet so I can draw out in nature or in society.
I've surrounded my desk with things that inspire me: Plants, postcards, trinkets, you name it. This keeps my brain fresh and oftentimes gives me a boost to keep drawing.
My monitors are positioned high enough that I can see them well while sitting upright. Good posture is vital if you spend a lot of time working!
I now have my big Huion Kamvas tablet that has a display, so I need to remind myself to not be crouched over it all the time. I also pull up the artwork on my further-away monitor to check the overall composition and/or values, instead of drowning in details!
Health While Working
While drawing, music, documentaries or Let's Plays are vital to keep the overthinking at bay and to keep me in the flow!
WATER!! I can't stress enough how important it is to drink. Enough. Water. If I don't, that results in brain fog and art is no.
Sometimes I need to rest my eyes on something else than my WIP art - I usually keep my desktop wallpaper something calming and almost neutral (like a mist-covered lake or a mountain ridge) and just stare at it for a few moments.
I am mindful of my breaks, especially when drawing! I use a pomodoro timer to know when it's time for stretching my hands and for water breaks.
Snack breaks are also a good thing - I definitely recommend fruit (because of course!), nuts and dark chocolate. They help me stay energized without making me drowsy.
Process
I keep a very detailed To Do list to keep myself motivated and also to know where exactly in the art/project process I am. My brain can either be in admin mode or creative mode, not both.
If I feel blocked either artistically or energy wise, I try to do some personal sketches for at least ten minutes.
If I absolutely can't motivate myself to draw (due to energy levels or whatever reason), I honor that and see if I want to do something else, like learning Blender, learning more about the business side of the artist life - or maybe just take a breather and let myself be a human bean.
Some days, I like the challenge of sketching a new idea, some days I prefer the cozy and less creative task of doing outlines and shading of existing sketches. I now try to let myself do what I gravitate towards more and it pays off with me not feeling overwhelmed as easily. It's about just doing what you can most of the time.
When I'm done with a piece of artwork, I try my darndest to be very supportive and proud of myself. I take a longer break and return to look at the finished artwork, trying to name my favorite thing about it as well as something I can see needs more work.
Something I don't do YET but will do: Keeping a document with all the positive comments I receive. I think validation and acknowledgement are things that humans almost always enjoy and keeping a record of praise around is sure to motivate me at least a little.
And that's that! If any of you read to this point: Thank you very much, I hope you found my list useful! If you have any tips or tricks regarding drawing, staying motivated and in general doing a hecking survive as an arting individual, why not drop it in the comments for all to benefit from? Stay healthy and stay happy! Much love! 😊

i am getting a small portable blender to make smoothies easily in the mornings :)
since i've been struggling a lot with my relationship with food and just food in general, i've started making strawberry smoothies and adding two handfuls of assorted greens like spinach and stuff. you can't taste it but i'm still getting in my fruits, veggies, and dairy(i add milk). it's really helping me eat more food groups and it feels like cheating lmao
i can also use less milk and have a sorbet type consistency. it's a nice meal that doesn't make me feel bad and still is good for me!!
also since i associate smoothies with being healthy, i can eat/drink(?) it without feeling guilty and oml smoothies are so amazing!!!
okay that was it i just had to say how much i love them :) ily all <3

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD IM GONNA SCREAM EVEN HARDER IF YOU EVER SAY YOURE NOT THE BEST AT WRITING AGAIN I SAW THAT FIC POST AND FELT GOD HIMSELF TEAR MY HEART FROM MY CHEST AND SHOVE IT IN A BLENDER AND PRESS THE ON BUTTON LIVE IN REAL TIME OH MY GODDDDDDD THE FUCKING PAIN
scratching out the angry and replacing it for tired just causes me such visceral pain especially from someone like etoiles who is often seen on the server later at night and has even woken back up (canon explanations for him logging back in LMAO) just to join a fight the day of the maze and acted like it was nothing. so for something like this to tear him down and really exhaust him just omg CUCURUCHO WHEN I CATCH YOU 🖕🖕
"phil is s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ exhausted, and passed out" what if I cried hmm ???? what if I started sobbing right here and now ??????? also poor etoiles acknowledging that the federation definitely hasn't let phil rest a second while in their care while also sitting in a room that's a pure reminder of the fact that he can't even rest properly in his own home since there's no bed made for him there, and the one upstairs has been collecting dust for months so he stays on the floor with him and allows his leg to be a cushion for at least a single night of rest because it's better then that damn chair AAAAAAAA IM IN AGONY
and fit being the main person he texts ohhhhhhhhh how I care for the fit and phil friendship they're everything to me I wanna grab their cubitos and stuff them in a set of drums and play a song with them inside I love them sm. I can imagine that out of everyone, he'd be less surprised by the federation implanting what's basically conditioning training into phils head to make him go back to them in search for someone to fix him when things go wrong. I can't imagine that he's been in that anarchy wasteland for over a decade and hasn't seen his fair share of twisted people playing sick games on others similar to this. (and the pain of watching it happen to someone so close considering back there he wasn't used to making attachments before the server ohhhhhhhhhhhh withering in pain dies on the floor)
OH HOW I LOVE DULL EYES REPRESENTING A CHARACTER NOT BEING FULLY PRESENT IN THEIR MIND ITS LIKE CRACK TO ME AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
ALSO OOOOOOOOOO YOU WILL BE DEALT WITH FOR THAT LAST LINE KNOWING DAMN WELL THAT THIS WASNT THE LAST TIME PHIL WAS TAKEN OHHHHHHHHHHH NOT ONLY IS HE BEING TRUAMATIZED BUT SO IS ETOILESSSSS WHAT DID HE EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS HE JUST WANTS TO FIGHT IN HIS FUNKY DUNGEONS AND NOW HAS TO LIVE WITH THE CRUSHING GUILT OF LETTING ONE OF HIS FRIENDS SLIP RIGHT THROUGH HIS GRASP DUE TO THIS DAMN ISLANDS RINGLEADERS EVEN THOUGH NONE OF THIS IS HIS FAULT IM GONNA SOBBBBBBBBB
this was amazing mwah 10/10 talented brilliant incredible amazing showstopping spectacular this will feed my family and water my crops and clear my skin and AAAAAAAAAA THE PAIN codebreakers r everything to me - 💿
IQJDJAK I AM SO NORMAL ABOUT THEM (LIE), WHEEZE
I absolutely adore putting in all of these little details from hinting at things, characters interacting with each other & their reactions and what these behaviours hint at and so much more and seeing that people NOTICE THEM??? AND HAVE THE SAME REACTIONS TO THEM THAT I HAD WHEN WRITING???? ME WHEN UEUEUEUEUE
The last line is so painful because you‘re so right, it‘s definitely not the last time Phil gets yoinked and I couldn‘t help myself because <333 angst of making silent promises you can’t keep <3333 IIQIQKQK
I‘m so tempted to make more small writings surrounding the Codebreakers in this au because M A N all these moments of just pure pain HITS HARD, Y‘KNOW???? Or even the situation I briefly touched upon in an earlier post between Phil & Forever or entirely different ones!!!
I have so many ideas RAAAH, but it‘s also getting late so I might push writing more to another day

Best Sketch Pen Techniques for Drawing and Illustration
Tumblr media
In the ever-expanding world of art tools, sketch pens have carved out a special place for artists, illustrators, and hobbyists alike. From quick doodles to detailed portraits, sketch pens offer versatility, vibrancy, and control that other mediums often struggle to match. But getting the most out of sketch pens requires more than just picking up a pen and drawing—it’s about knowing the right techniques, materials, and methods to elevate your work.
Whether you’re a beginner exploring your artistic side or a seasoned illustrator looking to refine your approach, this comprehensive guide to the best sketch pen techniques for drawing and illustration will help you unlock the full creative potential of this underrated tool.
What Makes Sketch Pens Unique?
Before diving into techniques, it’s important to understand why sketch pens are popular in the art and illustration community:
Vivid, consistent color output
No mess compared to paints or inks
Variety of tip styles: fine, brush, chisel, and bullet
Quick-drying and smudge-resistant (especially alcohol-based)
Portable and easy to store
Because of these features, sketch pens are widely used for:
Fashion illustration
Comic book inking
Calligraphy
Architecture sketching
Art journaling and more
1. Line Weight Variation (Pressure Control)
A fundamental technique in sketch pen drawing is varying the line weight to add depth, emphasis, and movement to your artwork. This is especially important in character design, botanical illustrations, and concept sketches.
How to Practice:
Use more pressure for bold, dark lines.
Apply less pressure for lighter, more delicate strokes.
Combine thick and thin lines for a dynamic look.
Best Pens for This: Brush tip sketch pens or dual-tip markers are ideal as they allow expressive variation in stroke width.
2. Hatching and Cross-Hatching
Hatching (parallel lines) and cross-hatching (overlapping perpendicular lines) are classic inking techniques that work beautifully with sketch pens. They help in:
Creating shadows
Adding texture
Implying volume
Tips for Effective Hatching:
Use fine-tipped pens for better control.
Keep your line spacing consistent.
Cross-hatch at different angles for smoother shading.
SEO Tip: Artists searching for "sketch pen shading techniques" often look for this method, so it’s essential to master it.
3. Stippling (Dotting)
Stippling is the process of placing numerous small dots to create shading and gradients. While time-consuming, it gives a highly detailed, textured effect ideal for realistic illustration styles.
How to Use Stippling:
Use tiny dots closely packed for dark areas.
Space them further apart for lighter zones.
Maintain consistent hand motion to avoid smudging.
Best For: Botanical drawings, portraits, and surreal art.
4. Layering and Color Blending
Unlike paint, sketch pens—especially alcohol-based ones—allow for layering of color to create gradient effects and subtle transitions. While blending can be tricky, it's one of the most powerful tools in pen illustration.
Techniques:
Light-to-dark layering: Start with a base light color and layer darker shades on top.
Colorless blender pens can help in softening transitions.
For water-based pens, try wet-on-wet blending by quickly overlapping strokes.
5. Dry Brush Technique (For Brush Pens)
With brush-tipped sketch pens, you can mimic the appearance of a dry brush from traditional painting. This gives a rough, textured look ideal for adding interest and grit to an illustration.
How to Achieve It:
Use a nearly dry or aging brush pen.
Lightly drag the tip across textured paper.
Experiment with fast, sweeping strokes.
This is a favorite among artists who create expressive sketches or comic illustrations.
6. Outlining and Inking
Outlining is one of the most common applications of sketch pens, especially in cartooning, manga, and comic book art.
Outline Like a Pro:
Start with a pencil sketch.
Choose fine liners (0.1–0.5 mm) for details.
Use bolder tips (0.7 mm or brush) for emphasis.
Erase pencil only after the ink is completely dry.
7. Creating Gradients
Gradients are smooth transitions between two or more colors. They can be used in backgrounds, fashion illustrations, or product concept sketches.
Gradient Techniques:
Overlapping strokes: Layer light over dark or vice versa.
Use parallel strokes in the same direction for smoothness.
Feathering: Draw quick, short strokes from both ends and blend in the center.
Paper matters—smooth bristol board or marker paper helps with even blending.
8. Masking and Negative Space
To keep certain areas white or preserve intricate details, try masking techniques using:
Masking tape
Stencils
Masking fluid (on thick papers)
This allows you to work freely around these areas and then remove the mask for a clean, sharp effect. It’s especially useful in architectural rendering or poster design.
9. Highlighting with White Ink or Gel Pens
Once your drawing is complete, you can add highlights to create a sense of light, reflection, or shine—particularly useful for eyes, metal surfaces, or water droplets.
How:
Use a white gel pen or paint marker.
Add after all layers are fully dry.
Place highlights opposite to your shadow areas.
This small detail can bring a flat sketch to life.
10. Mixing Media
Sketch pens can be beautifully combined with:
Colored pencils (for texture)
Ink liners (for definition)
Watercolors (for background washes)
Acrylic paint markers (for accents)
This mixed-media approach is common in fashion design, packaging art, and concept illustration.
Best Paper for Sketch Pen Techniques
The paper you use can make or break your sketching experience.
Smooth Bristol Board: Best for clean lines and blending.
Marker Paper: Prevents bleed-through, ideal for alcohol-based pens.
Watercolor Paper: For mixed-media work and brush-pen textures.
Sketchbooks with Heavy GSM: Suitable for layering and inking.
Avoid thin, porous paper that causes feathering or bleeding.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Using poor-quality pens: They dry out fast and affect line consistency.
Not testing colors beforehand: Always test on scrap paper.
Skipping the pencil sketch phase: Planning your composition helps reduce errors.
Over-blending: This can damage the paper and muddy the colors.
Inadequate drying time: Ink smudges can ruin your piece.
Mastering sketch pen techniques opens up a world of artistic possibilities, from simple doodles to professional-grade illustrations. With the right pens, paper, and techniques—such as hatching, stippling, blending, and mixed media—you can transform your artwork and bring vivid life to your ideas.
Sketch pens are more than just tools—they’re a gateway to expressive, bold, and detailed illustrations. Whether you're sketching portraits, drawing landscapes, or designing graphics, these techniques will elevate your craft and help you create art that stands out.

In the modern era of hustle culture and adventure-seeking lifestyles, people are constantly on the move — from daily commutes and work trips to weekend getaways and long vacations. Amid all this, health and nutrition remain top priorities for many. That’s where the demand for compact blenders for travel has skyrocketed. Whether it’s for your morning protein shake, a mid-day green smoothie, or an evening detox drink, having a reliable blender that fits in your bag is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity.
Among the many options flooding the market, Blenxer has emerged as a revolutionary solution for health-conscious travelers. Sleek, lightweight, and powerful, Blenxer combines convenience and performance in one portable device, making it the ultimate choice for those looking for compact blenders for travel.
The Shift Toward Healthy Living On-the-Go
Today’s generation is more health-conscious than ever before. Whether you're a frequent flyer, a gym enthusiast, or a digital nomad exploring the world, nutrition is no longer something to be compromised. But the challenge remains: how do you maintain your smoothie or shake routine while constantly being on the move?
Traditional countertop blenders are bulky, difficult to carry, and require a stable power source. They simply aren’t designed for mobility. That’s where the appeal of compact blenders for travel comes in. These mini powerhouses allow you to blend your favorite drinks anywhere, anytime—without the mess, noise, or size constraints of traditional blenders.
Introducing Blenxer: A Travel Essential for Health Enthusiasts
Designed specifically for the modern, active lifestyle, Blenxer is not just another portable blender; it’s a thoughtfully designed product built to cater to people who don’t want to compromise on health while being on the move. Whether you're traveling for business, heading to the gym, or enjoying a weekend road trip, Blenxer ensures you never miss out on your daily dose of nutrients.
What sets Blenxer apart in the world of compact blenders for travel is its balance of power, portability, and style. It’s not just a gadget — it’s a lifestyle companion that supports your wellness journey wherever life takes you.
Power and Performance in Your Backpack
A major concern when choosing a compact blender for travel is whether it can truly deliver the same performance as a larger, stationary blender. With Blenxer, the answer is a resounding yes.
Despite its small size, Blenxer is equipped with high-speed, durable blades that can crush ice, blend fruits and vegetables, and even handle protein powders or nuts. It ensures you get smooth, lump-free drinks every single time. Whether you’re blending a refreshing cold coffee in the car, a detox juice at a campsite, or a protein shake in your hotel room, Blenxer handles it all effortlessly.
This level of performance in such a compact design is what makes Blenxer a true standout in the market of compact blenders for travel.
Lightweight and Truly Portable
The essence of travel-friendly gadgets lies in their portability, and Blenxer was engineered with this exact need in mind. Weighing just a fraction of traditional blenders and built to be compact enough to slip into your bag or backpack, it allows you to carry it wherever you go — with zero hassle.
Its cordless operation adds to the convenience. With a powerful rechargeable battery, Blenxer doesn’t need to be plugged in every time you use it. A full charge gives you multiple uses, making it ideal for long trips where charging opportunities might be limited. This makes it one of the most reliable compact blenders for travel, especially for people who love outdoor activities or work remotely.
Blend Anywhere, Anytime
Imagine sipping on a fresh mango smoothie on a train ride, or blending a spinach protein shake right after a mountain hike. That’s the kind of flexibility Blenxer brings to your life. It redefines what it means to eat healthy on the go.
This flexibility is a game-changer. Instead of relying on overpriced, sugar-loaded beverages from cafes or convenience stores while you travel, you can carry your ingredients and blend your drink exactly how you like it. It’s fresh, personalized, and much healthier.
Whether you're sitting in an airport lounge or relaxing at a beach resort, Blenxer enables a healthy lifestyle with every sip.
Sleek, Stylish, and Aesthetic
Let’s be honest — design matters. In the age of Instagram and aesthetic living, even our gadgets reflect our personality. Blenxer understands this and offers a minimalist, modern design that not only performs well but also looks great while doing so.
Unlike clunky kitchen tools, Blenxer adds an element of style to your day. Available in trendy colors and designed with smooth curves, it feels less like a blender and more like a high-end accessory. It’s a seamless fit for your office desk, gym locker, or carry-on bag.
If you’re looking for compact blenders for travel that offer both function and fashion, Blenxer is your go-to choice.
Easy to Use and Clean
Traveling often means tight schedules and limited time. That’s why Blenxer is designed for quick and easy use. With a simple one-button operation, you can have your drink ready in under a minute. No complicated settings, no unnecessary buttons — just straightforward blending.
Cleaning is just as easy. Add a little water and soap, blend for a few seconds, and rinse. That’s it. You don’t need a sink full of utensils or separate cleaning tools. When you're on the move, that kind of simplicity is priceless.
In the competitive space of compact blenders for travel, this level of user-friendliness makes Blenxer a top contender for travelers who value both efficiency and cleanliness.
Cost-Effective and High Value
Another major reason to choose Blenxer over other options is the value it offers. Traditional high-performance blenders often come with a hefty price tag. While some portable options are cheaper, they frequently sacrifice power, durability, or battery life.
Blenxer, on the other hand, strikes the perfect balance. It offers the functionality of a premium blender, the convenience of portability, and the style of a high-end accessory — all at a reasonable price. When evaluating compact blenders for travel, this kind of value is hard to ignore.
Final Thoughts: Blenxer Is Your Health Companion on the Road
In a world where we’re constantly on the move, health should never take a backseat. Whether you’re flying across continents, working from cafés, or road-tripping across the country, your nutrition and wellness need consistent attention. That’s where Blenxer steps in — the ultimate solution in the world of compact blenders for travel.
From its powerful blades and long-lasting battery to its aesthetic design and portability, Blenxer is designed to fit seamlessly into your fast-paced, mobile lifestyle. It ensures you can enjoy nutritious drinks no matter where you are, without compromising on quality, style, or convenience.
So if you’ve been searching for the perfect blend of health, travel, and modern living — Blenxer is the name you need to remember.

Kitchen Cleaning,
Kitchen Cleaning,
The kitchen is often considered the heart of the home. It's where meals are prepared, families gather, and memories are made. But with all that activity, it’s also one of the fastest places to get messy. Keeping your kitchen clean isn’t just about appearances—it’s also essential for hygiene and safety. This ultimate guide to kitchen cleaning will help you maintain a spotless and sanitary space effortlessly.
Why Kitchen Cleaning Is Important
A clean kitchen:
Prevents the spread of bacteria and foodborne illnesses
Reduces the risk of pest infestations
Prolongs the life of appliances and surfaces
Creates a pleasant cooking and dining environment
Saves time in the long run
Daily Kitchen Cleaning Checklist
Keeping your kitchen tidy on a daily basis doesn’t need to be overwhelming. Here are quick tasks to include in your daily routine:
Wipe countertops and surfaces with a disinfectant
Wash dishes or load the dishwasher after every meal
Sweep the floor to remove crumbs and debris
Clean spills immediately to prevent stains or sticky spots
Empty the trash if it’s full or smells
Weekly Kitchen Cleaning Tasks
Set aside some time each week to tackle deeper cleaning jobs:
Clean the refrigerator—remove expired food and wipe down shelves
Sanitize sinks and faucets
Mop the floor for a thorough clean
Wipe down cabinet doors and handles
Clean small appliances like the microwave, toaster, or blender
Monthly Deep Cleaning Guide
Every month, go a little further to ensure your kitchen stays in top shape:
Clean behind appliances (like the stove and refrigerator)
Organize pantry and cabinets
Descale coffee machines or kettles
Check for expired condiments and spices
Wipe and disinfect garbage bins
Natural vs. Chemical Cleaners
Many homeowners prefer natural cleaning solutions, such as:
Vinegar and baking soda for deodorizing and scrubbing
Lemon juice for its antibacterial properties
Essential oils like tea tree or eucalyptus for a fresh scent
However, chemical cleaners may be necessary for tackling grease or disinfecting surfaces. Always read labels and follow instructions when using commercial products.
Tips for Efficient Kitchen Cleaning
Use microfiber cloths for streak-free surfaces
Keep cleaning supplies nearby, under the sink or in a portable caddy
Clean as you go when cooking to reduce after-meal mess
Set a timer—you’ll be surprised how much you can accomplish in 15 minutes
Delegate tasks to other family members for faster results
Final Thoughts
A clean kitchen not only looks great but also promotes health and happiness in your home. By developing consistent cleaning habits and staying organized, you can maintain a sparkling kitchen without stress. Whether you’re wiping down counters after a meal or doing a monthly deep clean, every step counts toward a fresher, safer cooking environment.

Hydrate Smarter: The Power of Oral Rehydration Solutions
Dehydration sneaks up fast, leaving you tired and foggy. Water helps, but it’s not always enough. An oral rehydration solution steps in where plain water falls short. It restores fluids and electrolytes quickly. Let’s explore why this method beats basic hydration every time.
Your body loses more than water when you sweat or drink alcohol. Sodium, potassium, and magnesium vanish, too. This imbalance triggers headaches and cramps. Plain water can’t replace those minerals. Revival Shots, for example, delivers a science-backed mix. It hydrates faster and keeps you balanced.
Why Water Alone Isn’t Enough
Sweating or a night out dehydrates you deeply. Alcohol suppresses a hormone that retains water. You flush out fluids and electrolytes overnight. Water rehydrates slowly without minerals. An oral rehydration solution fixes this gap. It mimics your body’s natural balance.
Studies show electrolytes speed up fluid absorption. Revival Shots uses a formula inspired by World Health Organization standards. It’s three times more effective than water alone. Users feel the difference—less fatigue, more focus. Don’t settle for slow recovery when you can hydrate smart.
Oral Rehydration Solutions: How They Work
These solutions combine water, salts, and sometimes glucose. They pull fluids into your bloodstream fast. Dehydration from exercise or illness hits hard. Revival Shots adds vitamins B and C for an energy lift. Mix a sachet with water and drink. Results kick in quickly.
Timing boosts their power. Sip one during a workout or after drinks. Before bed, down another to recover overnight. It’s simple and portable—no excuses needed. The plant-based blend skips artificial junk. You get clean, effective hydration every time.
Benefits Beyond Recovery
Oral rehydration isn’t just for emergencies. It upgrades daily wellness, too. Struggling to drink enough water? Add flavor and function with a sachet. Athletes use it to recharge post-training. Travelers fight jet lag with it. Revival Shots fits any hydration need.
Your body is 60% water—keeping it balanced matters. Low energy or brain fog signals dehydration. An oral rehydration solution tackles these issues fast. Users report better stamina and clarity. It’s a natural boost without caffeine overload.
Oral Rehydration Solutions vs. Sports Drinks
Not all hydration drinks are equal. Sports drinks often pack sugar and little else. Oral rehydration solutions focus on science, not sweetness. Revival Shots offers high electrolytes and low calories. It’s designed to prevent dehydration, not just mask it.
Customers love the taste—orange or berry options shine. One said, “It’s my go-to after a long day.” Another praised its speed: “I feel normal in 30 minutes.” The 6-pack option keeps you stocked. It’s a smarter choice for real results.
How to Use Them Right
Prevention beats scrambling for a cure. Drink an oral rehydration solution before dehydration hits. During a hot day, sip one mid-activity. After alcohol, take it before sleep. Revival Shots makes it easy—just tear, pour, and go. No blender or mess required.
Don’t rely on coffee or sugary sodas. Caffeine dehydrates you further. Stick to a formula built for recovery. Revival’s mix is award-winning for a reason. It’s the UK’s top hydration powder, backed by happy users.
Why Choose Revival Shots?
Revival Shots stands out in a crowded market. It’s high-potency, low-sugar, and effective. The money-back guarantee removes all risk. Taste and convenience seal the deal. Stock up with a 6-pack and hydrate smarter.
Dehydration doesn’t have to slow you down. With oral rehydration solutions, you stay ahead. Revival Shots delivers fast, reliable relief. Try it next time you need a lift. Your body will thank you.
