fcs for Theodore Nott pretty please?

Since you didn’t give me an age range, I’m going to be focusing mostly on could-pass-for-Hogwarts-ages, but I’ll throw in a few older ones too.

Anyway, what we know about Theodore’s physical description in canon is that he’s “rabbitty-looking” and “weedy” and “stringy,” so with that in mind, I tried to go for skinny or at least thin-faced gentlemen…but most professional actors are probably too professionally pretty to truly suit Theodore, so ymmv!

snape fcs?

In my opinion Severus Snape is probably the most difficult Harry Potter character to cast, especially for younger versions. It’s hard to find someone who has the “look” as well as resources that offer the sort of attitude/emotional range you need for him. And whether or not someone gives off the “Snape vibe” is definitely a matter of personal opinion that will vary widely from person to person, but here are a few that I think might be able to pull it off (some of whom I have to be honest I don’t really like for Severus, but your mileage may vary and it’s more important that he clicks for you than for me since you’re the one who is going to play him). Do you have any suggestions for a hogwarts aged Arthur weasley fc. Red or strawberry blonde hair would be preferable, and a good amount of recourses if you can, thanks so much!

Arthur’s description in canon is of a thin, balding man with red hair. Obviously that is from when he is quite a bit older than when he was at Hogwarts, as one might presume he wasn’t balding when he was a child (but you never know I suppose!), but regardless that leaves us quite a bit of room to work with. So I would say that your best criteria to decide on a faceclaim for him will be more about personality than appearance – and again, we only know Arthur as an adult, so who he was in school could be very different from the man we meet in Chamber of Secrets. So you have to ask yourself, what kind of a person do you want your young Arthur Weasley to be?

Unfortunately despite how wide-open his physical description is, there just aren’t a lot of younger red-haired actors out there with resources (at least not that I know of, but if anyone has other suggestions for the anon please do share them!) so these few were the only ones I could come up with...well, aside from the ones who were already in Harry Potter as various Weasleys!

Personally something about Will Merrick just says “Arthur” to me more than any of the others, but he is admittedly a little lighter on resources so if you want a lot of those, either Cameron Monaghan or Caleb Landry Jones might be your best bet as they seem to have the most available. Good luck!

In many games, Pureblood society is viewed as an equivalent to the British aristocracy. At Days That Were, we see it that way to some extent, but we also recognize the extremely small population pool that the wizarding world has to pull from. As such, we have a somewhat different view of how Pureblood society functions. 

While I have some thoughts to add when it comes to women in pureblood/wizarding society that aren't 100% in line with this, it's a great resource for HP RP'ers & definitely provides some things to think about when creating and playing characters.

Well our rp is set somewhere between marauders era and Harry Potter era so when Harry is 6th year she'd be around 25 years old or something.

Oh. Do you mind telling me the rp so I can read the plot? Sorry I'm asking so many questions, I just want to be able to give you something that works.

So are you playing her as 25? That would be fun. Depending on her blood status you could play around with a messy, failed arranged marriage. Also, I don't know what 'kind' of bitchy character you're playing. For me at least, there are a few kinds. Like, at the risk of listing off cliche character types, there's the girl who is bitchy because she has been hurt, the girl who is mean because she honestly thinks she is better than others, etc.
