honestly too tired to be coherent about this but i'm still thinking about Argenti and Velite

whether you read them as ship or not, there's something in Argenti being so stubbornly earnest and alive that he somehow inspires someone as cynical and "side character" as Velite to take the risk to quit his IPC job and become a pilot like he wanted. the fact that Velite's dream, supposed to manifest about something he wanted, was him piloting The One and Only to find Argenti. something in Velite just cursing Argenti out for being so stubborn about being willing to die for any noble cause, but willing to go with him because this big, beautiful, suicidal dumbass is the life and beauty he praises so much.

Argenti might be searching for the Beauty, but in the eyes of people like Velite, with his earnestness and drama and the one who finds everything beautiful, why doesn't Argenti understand that he IS the Beauty (the beauty of life)? more than Idrila could ever be at this moment?

Argenti being the beauty of life and inspiring someone like Velite to believe in it again and, hopefully, keep this idiot from sacrificing his beauty far too early.

I thought their role or story was interesting. Starting off, we have velite !! Now, velite was introduced in Argenti's mission.. as the one who he 'saved' he wors as an IPC worker. Who always wanted to be a piolet..

After defeating the bettles on the express. And defeating Argenti. He will say that it definitely doesn't care about Argenti, but in reality, he does! Because he devoted his life now to Argenti because he saved him. At the end of the quest, you get a text message from Argenti about how he defeated the giant stag that had swolled the express. An how Velite is learning how to piolet the one and only. (Turn you phone. )

I thought his story was interesting, along with Argenti as well. Why not make him a full character? I'll redraw this it's not good...

I have very few honkai ships, in general. I enjoy Kafstel the most. I like bronseel, and a few others. The only one that rivals Kafstel for me, is Argenti and Velite.

Argenti's first appearance in the story was wild and I love that he just deposits some guy he saved on the train who is completely ungrateful to Argenti because it's cutting into his schedule.

And by the end of the quest he's begrudgingly admitting he cares about Argenti and doesn't want him to die outside of Argenti being the one to help him get where he needs to go.

Guy failure, normal, unpleasant man and his beautiful, space knight husband. Argenti 1000% would send him long eloquent texts with a font no one realized you could get in text messages followed by several sparkling stickers, Velite would respond with one word answers or tell him to shut up/stop texting him.
