Here, I'll walk you through the installation process of Docker CE using docker's RPM repository.
Docker CE stands for Docker Community Edition. This is the free and open source version of Docker. There is Docker EE (Enterprise Edition) with paid support. Most of the world uses Docker CE and it is often considered synonymous to Docker.
Installing Docker on CentOS
Before going any further, make sure you have the system updated. You can update the CentOS using:
Step 1: Add the official repository
Add docker's official repository using the following command Office 2016 mac torrent download.
You should also update the package cache after adding a new repository:
Step 2: Install Docker CE
The trouble with using a custom repository is that it may have dependency issue if you try installing the latest version of docker-ce.
For example, when I check the available versions of docker-ce with this command:
I got docker-ce-3:19.03.9-3.el7 as the latest version. But the problem in installing the latest version is that it depends on containerd.io version >=1.2.2-3. Now, this version of containerd.io is not available in CentOS 8.
To avoid this dependency cycle and battling them manually, you can use the --nobest option of the dnf command.
It will check the latest version of docker-ce but when it finds the dependency issue, it checks the next available version of docker-ce. Basically, it helps you automatically install the most suitable package version with all the dependencies satisfied.
To install docker in CentOS without getting a migraine, try this command and see the magic unfold on your terminal screen:

containerd.io is a daemon for managing containers. Docker is just one form of Linux containers. To make the various types of container images portable, Open Container Initiative has defined some standards. containerd is used for managing the container images conforming to OCI standard.
Setting up docker on CentOS
Alright! You have docker installed but it's not yet ready to be used yet. You'll have to do some basic configurations before it can be used smoothly.
Run docker without sudo
You can run docker without any sudo privileges by adding your user to the docker group.
The docker group should already exist. Check that using the following command:
Cleanmymac activation number generator. If this outputs nothing, create the docker group using groupadd command like this:
Now add your user to the docker group using the usermod command:
Change the user_name in the above command with the intended user name.
Now log out and log back in for the group change to take effect.
Start docker daemon
Docker is installed. Your user has been added to the docker group. But that's not enough to run docker yet.
Before you can run any container, the docker daemon needs to be running. The docker daemon is the program that manages all the containers, volumes, networks etc. In other words, the daemon does all the heavy lifting.

You can also enable docker daemon to start automatically at boot time:
Verify docker installation by running a sample container
Everything is done. It's time to test whether the installation was successful or not by running a docker container.
To verify, you can run the cliché hello-world docker container. It is a tiny docker image and perfect for quickly testing a docker installation.
If everything is fine, you should see an output like this:
Here's what the command is doing behind the hood:
The docker client, i.e. the command line tool that you just used, contacted the docker daemon.
The daemon looked for hello-world docker image in the local system. Since it doesn't find the image, it pulls it from Docker Hub.
The engine creates the container with all the options you provided through the client's command line options.
This hello-world image is used just for testing a docker installation. If you want a more useful container, you can try running Nginx server in a container like this:
Once the command is done running, open up a browser and go to http://your_ip_address:56788. I hope you know how to know your IP address in Linux.
You should see nginx server running. You can stop the container now.

I’m just getting started with Docker. I’ve thought for years that containerization is a great idea, but I haven’t actually done anything with containers yet. Time to get started.
I ran through a couple tutorials on the Docker docs site and created a cloud.docker.com account to get some basic familiarity.

Did it do anything? It looks like it did something. At least, it didn’t give me an error. What did it do? How do I access it?

Nothing is actively running. That makes sense, because we’re not telling the containerized OS to do anything — it starts, it doesn’t have anything to do, and so it shuts down immediately. Instead we can tell it to run interactively and with a terminal by specifying a couple options:
-i, --interactive -t, --tty (“allocate a pseudo-TTY”, i.e. a terminal) (see docker run --help for details)
$ docker run -i -t centos (root@4f0b435cdbd7 /)#
I’m in!
What if I want to modify the container? Right now it is pretty bare-bones. For example, this doesn’t even have man installed:

Introducing RadioText.net - Transcribing news episodes from Sveriges Radio
RadioText.net is a site that transcribes news episodes from Swedish Radio and makes them accessible. It uses multiple AI-based services in Azure from Azure Cognitive Services like Speech-to-Text, Text Analytics, Translation, and Text-to-Speech.
By using all of the services, you can listen to "Ekot" from Swedish Radio in English :) Disclaimer: The site is primarily a technical demo, and should be treated as such.
Background
Just to give you (especially non-Swedish) people a background. Sveriges Radio (Swedish Radio) is the public service radio in Sweden like BBC is in the UK. Swedish Radio does produce some shows in languages like English, Finnish and Arabic - but the majority is (for natural reasons) produced in Swedish.
The main news show is called Ekot ("The Echo") and they broadcast at least once every hour and the broadcasts range from 1 minute to 50 minutes. The spoken language for Ekot is Swedish.
For some time, I've been wanting to build a public demo with the AI Services in Azure Cognitive Services, but as always with AI - you need some datasets to work with. It just so happens that Sveriges Radio has an open API with access to all of their publically available data, including audio archive - enabling me to work with the speech API:s.
Architecture
The site runs in Azure and is heavily dependant on Cognitive Services. It's split into two parts, Collect & Analyze and Present & Read.
Collect & Analyze
The collect & analyze part is a series of actions that will collect, transcribe, analyze and store the information about the episodes.
It's built using .NET Core 3.1 and can be hosted as an Azure function, Container or something else that can run continuously or on a set interval.
The application periodically looks for a new episode of Ekot using the Sveriges Radio open API. There is a NuGet-package available that wraps the API for .NET (disclaimer, I'm the author of that package...). Once a new episode arrives, it caches the relevant data in Cosmos DB and the media in Blob Storage.

The reason to cache the media is that the batch version of Speech-to-text requires the media to be in Blob Storage.
Once all data is available locally, it starts the asynchronous transcription using Cognitive Services Speech-to-text API. It specifically uses the batch transcription which supports transcribing longer audio files. Note that the default speech recognition only supports 15 seconds because it is (as I've understood it) more targeted towards understanding "commands".
The raw result of the transcription is stored in Blob-storage, and the most relevant information is stored in Cosmos DB.
The transcription contains the combined result (a long string of all the text) the individual words with timestamps. A sample of such a file can be found below:

This site only uses the combined result but could improve the user experience by utilizing the data of individual words.
All of the texts (title, description, transcription) are translated into English and Swedish (if those were not the original language of the audio) using Cognitive Services Translator Text API.

All texts mentioned above are analyzed using Cognitive Services Text Analytics API, which provides sentiment analysis, keyphrases and (most important) named entities. Named entities are a great way to filter and search the episodes by. It's better than keywords, as it's not only a word but also what kind of category it is. The result is stored in Cosmos DB.
The translated transcriptions are then converted back into audio using Cognitive Services Text-to-Speech. It produces one for English and one for Swedish. For English, there is support for the Neural Voice and I'm impressed by the quality, it's almost indistinguishable from a human. The voice for Swedish is fine, but you will hear that it's computer-generated. The generated audio is stored in Blob Storage.

Last but not least, a summary of the most relevant data from previous steps are denormalized and stored in Cosmos DB (using Table API).
Present & Read
The site that presents the data is available at https://radiotext.net/. It's built using ASP.NET Core 3.1 and is deployed as a Linux Docker container to Dockerhub and then released to an Azure App Service.
Currently, it lists all episodes and allows for in-memory filtering and search. From the listing, you can see the first part of the transcription in English and listen to the English audio.
By entering the details page, you can explore the data in multiple languages as well as the original information from the API.
Immersive reader
Immersive Reader is a tool/service that's been available for some time as part of Office, for example in OneNote. It's a great way to make reading and understanding texts easier. My wife works as a speech- and language pathologist and she says that this tool is a great way to enable people to understand texts. I've incorporated the service into Radiotext to allow the user to read the news using this tool.
Primarily, it can read the text for you, and highlight the words that are currently being read:

And if you are learning about grammar, it can show you grammar details like what verbs are nouns, verbs, and adjectives:
I hadn't used this service before, but it shows great potential for making texts more accessible. Combined with Speech-to-text, it can also make audio more accessible.
Cost
I've tried to get a grip on what the cost would be to do run this service and I estimate that to run all services for one episode of Ekot (5 minutes) the cost is roughly €0,2. That includes transcribing, translating, analyzing and generating audio for multiple languages.

Ideas for improvement
The current application was done to showcase and explore a few services, but it's not in any way feature complete. Here are a few ideas on the top of my mind.
Live audio transcription: Speech to text supports live audio transcription, so we could transcribe the live radio feed. Could be comined with subtitles idea below.
Improve accuracy with Custom Speech: Using Custom Speech we could improve the accuracy of the transcriptions by training it on some common domain-specific words. For example, the jingle is often treated as a words, while it should not.
Enable subtitles: Using the timestamp data from the transcription subtitles could be generated. That would enable a scenario where we can combine the original audio with subtitles.
Multiple voices: A natural part of a news episode are interviews. And naturally, in interviews, there are multiple people involved. The audio I'm generating now is reading all texts with the same voice, so in scenarios when there are conversations it sounds kind of strange. Using conversation transcription it could find out who says what and generate the audio with multiple voices.
Improve long audio: The current solution will fail when generating audio for long texts. The Long Audio API allows for that.
Handle long texts: Both translation and text analytics has limitations on the length of the texts. At the moment, the texts are cut if they are too long, but they could be split into multiple chunks and then analyzed and concatenated again.
Search using Azure Search: At the moment the "search" and "filtering" functionality is done in memory, just for demo purposes. Azure Search allows for a much better search experience and could be added for that. Unfortunately, it does not allow for automatic indexing of Cosmos DB Table API at the moment.
Custom Neural Voice: I've always wanted to be a newsreader, and using Custom Neural Voice I might be able to do so ;) Custom Neural Voice can be trained on your voice and used to generate the audio. But, even if we could to this, it doesn't mean we should. Custom Neural Voice is one (maybe the only?) service you need to apply for to be able to use. In the world of fake news, I would vote for not implementing this.

Docker is a set of platform as a service products that uses OS-level virtualization to deliver software in packages called Containers. Containers are isolated from one another and bundle their own software, libraries and configuration files; they can communicate with each other through well-defined channels.It’s more lightweight than standard Containers and boots up in seconds. Docker also is easy to use when you need a simple, single instance. What is great about Docker though is that it allows configuring multiple versions of MySQL. Docker Installation: Docker can be installed with yum repository or apt-get repository based on your linux operating system distributions. (I’m using CentOS 7 operating system in the following examples). [root@mydbopslabs202 vagrant]# yum install docker -y To start the docker service, Run the following command: [root@mydbopslabs202 vagrant]# systemctl start docker How to pull the Docker MySQL Images? There are  two official MySQL Docker Repositories.  Docker team (https://hub.docker.com/r/mysql/mysql-server/) maintains a branch and can be pulled by a simple docker run mysql:latest MySQL team (https://hub.docker.com/_/mysql) is maintains a branchand can be pulled by a simple docker run mysql/mysql-server:latest  I have used docker’s team images(latest), from Oracle MySQL’s team , but there are many custom designed docker images available in the Dockerhub too.To download the MySQL Server image, run this command: shell> docker pull mysql/mysql-server:tag If :tag is omitted, the latest tag is used by default and the image for the latest GA version of MySQL Server is downloaded. For older versions use the tags available with above command. By default, Docker stores data in its internal volume. To validate the location of the volumes, use the command: [root@mydbopslabs202 vagrant]# docker inspect test In that output,it shows "Image": "mysql/mysql-server:latest", "Volumes": { "/var/lib/mysql": {} }, You can also change the location of the data directory and create one on the host for persistence. Having a volume outside the container allows other applications and tools to access the volumes when needed. It’s also a best practice followed for databases.For example if you remove the docker instance unfortunately the data directory gets also removed, it is always better to have the data directory outside the docker with the DB log files. Containers help us in automation and easy customisations. My home network has been having issues. Mostly it seems between the chromecast packet flooding bug and something to do with WiFi + android 8.1, but things will drop connections. I've eventually had to make one WiFi for my important stuff, and one for the random gadgets (which I probably should have done anyways). I'm not certain either of these things were happening, but they seemed to line up.
But on top of all that I wanted to try moving DNS off of my router and onto something I had more control over. I had heard of Pi-hole as a solution for system level ad-blocking, I was mostly hoping it would help my phone cause ads on mobile webpages really suck cause of load jumping around the page, I can generally ignore ads the rest of the time.
Docker has the usual advantage of things working out of the box. No configuring and everything because someone else did it for me.
So off I go to find an install of Pi-hole that works, and I can poke around with. It didn't take long. https://github.com/diginc/docker-pi-hole seems to work really well. Installed it, looked pretty good. Restarted it with ports mapped so I could play with it. Still success. DNS seemed fast and zippie. Fully usable.
But I wanted more. I was reading about dns-crypt, and had heard it could encrypt your DNS requests so your ISP and such couldn't actually track what you were doing (Not that I wanted to hide, but I liked the idea of it).
So off I go. I learn about dnscrypt-proxy, and quickly found a nice docker image. https://hub.docker.com/r/rix1337/docker-dnscrypt/
So off I go, seems pretty easy to set up. Just download, run, and point at the local proxy (there's a list on the docker hub page).
Nope, not that simple. Cause silly me, it needs port 53 as well. Okay, no problem, let me use another port and tell pihole to use that. hrm.. nope, the runtime configuration thingie eats up the '#' so I can't specify port like you can in the dnsmasq config that pihole uses. Okay. Okay, lets try a ip address alias. That seems to work, so pihole takes the main ip, and dnscrypt takes an alias? Sweet! I can manually query things on it, time to hook everything up together.
Hrm. Nope, wall again. Apparently my docker setup can't talk to anything but the main ip. I'm guessing its firewalld which I'm hoping to get rid of once I reinstall my system. Okay, what else can I try now?
After a bunch of reading online, I found out you create a docker network, and the various services can talk to eacho ther without needing to expose ports out to the rest of the network. That sounds perfect. Oh, wait, you need to resolve the addresses inside the containers, which totally won't work for dns because dns wants the ip so it can resolve. Close, I mean it would probably work because docker has its own dns proxy, but again you can't pass non ips to the pihole runtime configs. Okay whats next.
Lastly I found a quick script using docker inspect. docker inspect --format='' $container
I really wasn't sure this would actually work because in theory ips could change every time it starts up, but it seems to allocate the same ip if possible, so kinda lucked out. So now I had Pi-hole talking to dnscrypt-proxy, which meant my lookups were encrypted. Yay!
Okay, whats next? Next I want to get dnssec working again. Not the end of the world for Canada. Our government and ISP are not supposed to mess with dns results, but I wanted it anyways. Plus its nice to have when the time comes.
Oh Awesome. Pi-hole has a option for it. Time to enable it.
Enabled, success. Time to walk away.
Oh wait, things are failing. Why are they failing?
Long story short, the version of Debian that was bundled with the Pi-hole docker image was super old. So the version of Dnsmasq was super old. It wouldn't handle any cloudflare based dns requests that had dnssec enabled (which my domain does). Okay, now what? Started to dig into how the docker image was built. Looks like it actually wasn't that hard to get it running with latest stable instead of the old stable.  Between the work I did, and a different PR the author did, we managed to get it upgraded to Debian stretch that afternoon. I tried the latest build and success, everything was resolving again. Time to walk away right?
Wrong. Suddenly I started getting all these cron errors about mirrors.fedoraproject.org not resolving. Turns out Dnsmasq also had an issue with the certs for that domain. Okay, disable dnssec and start researching again. Turns out again Dnsmasq had a new - newer version that had it fixed, but wasn't in Debian stretch. Turned out actually to be a pretty easy fix. I had never tried to install a testing package in stable before, but for Dnsmasq that didn't really have dependencies, it was super easy. And thus my Pi-hole image was born. Sadly it would be nice to have it in the base image. And one day I'll clean up a patch and get it submitted, but I'm happy to be totally encrypted and verified dns now.
This post turned out to be way more rambly and disconnected than I expected, but I'm very happy with the results. I now have systemd keeping up dnscrypt (primary and backup) and Pi-hole and now have fast stable dns and my phone is no longer randomly disconnecting everything. I'm pretty happy with the results. Plus pretty graphs.

Pipeline API Tokens in Screwdriver
Creating Tokens
If you go to Screwdriver’s updated pipeline Secrets page, you can find a list of all your pipeline access tokens along with the option to modify, refresh, or revoke them. At the bottom of the list is a form to generate a new token.

Enter a name and optional description, then click Add. Your new pipeline token value will be displayed at the top of the Access Tokens section, but it will only be displayed once, so make sure you save it somewhere safe! This token provides admin-level access to your specific pipeline, so treat it as you would a password.
Using Tokens to Authenticate
To authenticate with your pipeline’s newly-created token, make a GET request to https://${API_URL}/v4/auth/token?api_token=${YOUR_PIPELINE_TOKEN_VALUE}. This returns a JSON object with a token field. The value of this field will be a JSON Web Token, which you can use in an Authorization header to make further requests to the Screwdriver API. This JWT will be valid for 2 hours, after which you must re-authenticate.
Example: Starting a Specific Pipeline
You can use a pipeline token similar to how you would a user token. Here’s a short example written in Python showing how you can use a Pipeline API token to start a pipeline. This script will directly call the Screwdriver API.
