Does Donald Trump know the words to the national anthem? You be the judge
yahoo
President Donald Trump was the topic du jour before the Alabama-Georgia national championship game on Monday. One of the biggest moments came cameras panned to Trump as the Zac Brown Band performed the national anthem. The president was definitely mouthing *something* … but were they really the words to the anthem?
See for yourself:

Many supporters were proud to see the president on the field:
Politics aside it’s so cool to see President Trump standing on the field with respect for our anthem. #nationalchampionship

But much of the Twitterverse seemed to think he downright didn’t know the words to the nation’s anthem and took the opportunity to troll:

Donald Trump clearly did not know the words to the National Anthem but was mad about people kneeling for it….

Michigan RB on Ohio State: ‘I think everyone knows we definitely won that game’ in 2016
Karan Higdon’s take is in line with the Michigan fanbase’s.
The Ohio State-Michigan football game is huge every year, but 2016’s will stand forever as one of its most memorable for the controversial way it ended.
With Michigan up by a field goal in overtime, the Wolverines almost stacked up Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett on a fourth down, but the officials said they didn’t. OSU scored the winning touchdown shortly after the contentious fourth-down spot went his way.
Almost 52 weeks later, on the eve of the teams’ Saturday rematch in Ann Arbor, Michigan running back Karan Higdon does not sound over it.
“For me, I think everyone knows we definitely won that game, hands down,” Higdon told reporters on Monday. “But it is what it is. I can’t change the result. No one can. That was on us to put it in the hands of the refs.”
Video’s here, via 247Sports (at the 8:00 mark).
Whether Higdon is correct depends on who you root for.
Had Barrett been ruled down short of the sticks, that would’ve been game over. Ohio State and Michigan fans have argued for the last year — and will argue forever — about whether the spot Barrett got was fair. The stakes were enormous, with a Big Ten title on the line for Michigan and a Playoff bid in the balance for Ohio State.
It’s even a proper noun now: The Spot.
Fans of both teams have gone over the play like it’s the Zapruder film.
Some examples here:

@Hugeshow @SBNationCFB look at his hand on the ground and then look at the ball, no first down, game over http://pic.twitter.com/HypBHcEotN

@SBNationCFB -- No worries it was kinda close to a first down... no big deal ...it's only a game...why not make the right call then? http://pic.twitter.com/rniBtxSaOP

— Jennifer (@kennedy030405) November 27, 2016
Now we know which side of the debate Higdon falls on.
Michigan fans will agree with him, at least.
