the fact that hidden has been open for four years feels absolutely insane to me. the admins were talking about it last night and i realized i was 19 when i joined hidden and now i���m 23. i understand that’s how math works but also it does truly just baffle me. when this rp started i was still early in to college and this year i graduated. it has all been such a ride so far, and an absolutely incredible one. it makes me genuinely proud to have spent so much time helping to admin this rp and hopefully playing my part to make it  so i lovely place. obviously i absolutely love being here and writing my characters, but i cannot state enough how much this group is just like a welcoming community of friends at this point. i am going to get myself in trouble at work with how much i check my phone just to be around on the discord and see what everyone is saying cause even if i don’t respond often i just really do love having such a great group of people to be around. this rp really has only managed to last as long as it has because of the amazing group of people who have come and joined and stayed with us all this time.  new or old you all play such a huge part in making this a welcoming community and it really does mean the world to me that you all come and bring such an amazing energy here every day. this place really is a second home for me, and the fact that it can bring so many other people joy as well is just the icing on the cake. i know that when i first joined ages ago i never could have guessed how long this rp would go and what amazing friends i would make but i’m so grateful things have gone as well as they have, and i’m super excited for many more good memories to come. i truly could keep gushing forever but i don’t want to just keep repeating myself no matter how tempting it is, but just know i love you all so so much and am very excited to have made it through another year with y’all! i will send you all individual positivity later in the day, but wanted to get out a little general love first ♥ ♥

HOWEVER i also love sending and receiving memes and replies from characters who otherwise wouldn’t have known each other? that’s really enjoyable as well and i’m grateful that you’ve continued a number of those threads between us, like kyoshi & xie lian or qinghua & orpheus lol. always unexpected fun. NEXT, outside of just your formal replies, your headcanon memes are a fucking DELIGHT to read, because you are clearly so invested in each of your characters’ backstories and histories and emotions. i swear to you i devour every single headcanon meme you post even if i didn’t send you the meme in the first place lmfao. and sometimes you apologize in your tags for rambling so much on those posts but i’m like: do not apologize for passion!! we love to see it. anyway, thank you for everything whether it’s a 1200 word reply or a funny meme you dm’d me on discord. i appreciate you as a writer and an admin and a person and i just think you’re really COOL. thank you for being down for whatever and also for giving me the chance to participate in this incredibly special rp for another year. most sincerely, oliver.

ollie!! pls i am crying this is so much. i sent you a whole long thing back but seriously thank you so much. as an admin it means so much like i am happy to put in work for the main knowing it’s for amazing members such as yourself. i’m so glad the admin team has been able to create a nice place for you and everyone else.
