          " sarah , i have a question for you, ” KAT declared , clearly given up on the show they were trying to watch. a smile formed on her lips, thanks to the effects of the glass of wine in her hand. “ would it really be all that bad if i got fired ??? ” the answer was hypothetically yes. she loved being a journalist, even if she wasn’t always a fan of her assignments. plus, all her hard work would just be going down the drain ... “ i mean, why can’t i just start my own blog ??? ” she furrowed her brow slightly.  “ do people still write blogs? news blogs? i could do that instead, don’t you think? ”

Lady Whistledown was well known for her gossip surrounding the social season and the courting of the women during that time. She was only known for her non de plume, but it was Eloise’s current mission in life to demask the writer. “I know she signs everything as Lady Whistledown, but that could just be a ploy, to keep people off her trail.”

“Ok, I am going to preface this by saying I have no excuse” though he did now have coffee and really that was all he cared about at the moment. He hadn’t really slept well the night before, nightmares had taken over once again, so the caffeine was much needed. “But I have watched both versions of Parent Trap this week, the old one and the newer one, and there’s one thing I don’t get. Be it Sharon and Susan or Annie and Hallie, but why the fuck were their parents so happy to just never see one of their children ever again? What parenting is that? Although Maureen O'Hara, that woman looks like a goddess”.

               WORK HAD BEEN FAIRLY overwhelming for the blonde, stacks of documents laid out in front of her, and elle didn’t know how long she had been starting at the papers before the door swung open. her fingers pushing to her temples as she let out a heavy breath, “hey....i’m in here.” she called out, taking off her reading glasses and putting them on the table, glancing up with a tired smile, “sorry for the mess i was just...” and her hands motioned to the papers as she leaned back on the couch now, exhaustion clearly getting the best of the usually chatty girl.

     A bright smile grows on Ella’s face as the other’s words sink in. She’d been so excited when Sarah had invited her to take a pottery class with her, never having really spent much time with just her as she usually hung out with Les. “You really think so?” She asks shyly, not used to being complimented. Looking over to Sarah’s work, her eyes widen slightly. “It’s nothing compared to yours though, it looks so pretty already. Wow.” Ella just smiles as she takes in the environment of the room, feeling comfortable and happy to there with the other. “Thank you for asking me to join, I’m so glad I was able to come here with you.”

he can hear the music blaring from her apartment before he even opens the door, chuckling under his breath as he quietly slips in and puts his things down on the counter, not bothering cady as she’s in the middle of a full-fledged dance break. so melchior waited patiently, crossing his arms over his chest before the song drifts to a close, “well, someone had some extra pep in her step today, aren’t you in a good mood?” he teased, head falling to the side, “i’m guessing you had a good night last night, i’m ready to here all the details, and i got your favorite coffee so spill.” he instructed, pushing the drink her way with an excited smile on his lips.

somehow ELLE had convinced EMMETT that their study session would go better if she could just loosen up with a few drinks. before he could notice , she had downed a few too many shots of the pink lemonade flavored vodka she kept in her desk. the session now completely derailed , the sorority girl dramatically threw herself on the bed.

          KAT’s aim was to have fun tonight, and to survive this kind of party, that meant quite a bit of alcohol. however, now she was beginning to reach the point of feeling sentimental ; a fact she both loved and dreaded. in fear of embarrassing herself, she immediately searched for one sarah jacobs. 

          fortunately, she seemed to catch her best friend not already busy. “ sarah !! my love ! ” the stupid pet names were already coming out. “ sarah ! ” she repeated as she reached her friend’s side. “ hello. what have you been up to tonight? any cuties ??? anything fun ?? ”

Though none of their children lived at home anymore, family game night was a tradition that held strong in the Jacobs household. Every Wednesday, without fail, the three kids would return back home, while their parents made dinner. Usually that meant they’d all show up hours earlier, helping out around the house one way or another.

David had spent a good portion of the evening in the kitchen, helping with the meal. He was always looking to expand on his culinary expertise (since most of his friends didn’t know a ladle from a spatula), and his mom was always eager to teach him. But as the meal was closer to finishing and there wasn’t much to do, he had been ushered out. Told to find his sister, so she could wash up on time.

David stuck his head out of the window, shouting out her name. He wasn’t sure what she was doing outside, but it was almost without a doubt that she’d be out there, somehow covered in mud or some other unknown substance. “Dinner’s ready!”

Each day Adam was more certain about their decision to add another little one too their family, especially as Barbara and he spent a lovely date night cooking at home.Their couples cooking class at the rec center was certainly paying off, as their homemade pho was getting better and better with each second on the stove. Not to mention the tofu on the stove was browning perfectly and slowly moving their family into more sustainable dietary living as they built their family. “Mmm, you have to try this!” Adam held his spoon out to Barbara for her to taste, careful not to drip on the kitchen floor.

It wasn’t that often that Kayden went into the bar, he never saw the point of getting drunk and usually was just there for business. This time had started like that, but after his meeting ended, and the associate left, all he really wanted was a drink and some peace and quiet. Evidently, he wasn’t about to get the latter, when he noticed someone come over. “Can I help you?”
