Okay so maybe being in this cave was a bad idea. He was stuck on this godforsaken planet for who knows how long and Jim was now finally getting the hang of it. Rhys, not Reese apparently but whatever, he ‘let’ the blond into his ragtag group of...Jim wasn't sure what to call them. But anyways they had found a lead of some treasure being found in this large cave with glowing crystals and creepy atmosphere that was going to get them big bucks. At least so they were told. Jim was skeptical he hated things like this, no evidence and barely a lead but here they were looking through this cave. Wonderful.

Jim of course was in the lead next to Rhys and Fiona, he wasn't sure why considering that they all whined about his gun never killing anything. Jim wouldn't waste the energy it carried, stun barely nicked it off. Kill on the other hand took more power. This phaser was not from this universe so of course he wasn't going to waste it on every bandit he saw. He wasn't stupid. Everything seemed to go perfectly fine. That is until these large creatures, looking like a mixture of a bat and a fucking bear popped out of nowhere screeching and hissing. 

He wasn't sure what happened next, it was a blur with things, he knew that one launched it’s large body onto Jim and Rhys pushed him out of the way before the blond could even react. Jim whipped his head over as he landed on the harsh rocky floor his tailbone aching as the thing gnawed on Rhys’ neck bloos just everywhere. “Rhys!” Jim shouted before switching his setting and firing at the beast turning it into ash in one single shot.

The old doctor was tipsy and lonely..and it looked like the woman across the bar was as well. From how she was looking at him and how she moved Zed assumed something was up. Was she trying to get his attention? He certainly hoped so. Downing another drink before pulling his mask back down, he scooted over to sit beside her, willing himself to talk. “So, uh..caught ya lookin’ my way,” he grinned under his mask.

Timothy had taken a chance by letting this guy see him without his blank mask. Without any of his disguise in fact. If he was stuck with Jack’s face for the rest of his life than he’d use it against these Hyperion types. When the man had been alive and in charge he’d given off an air that he’d been worshipped, so surely seeing that same face would keep the employees from shooting him on sight.

Not that this kid looked armed, now that the doppelgänger was getting a closer look. Well, minus the literal cybernetic arm and that very nice looking eye. Those were dangerous by themselves and Tim’s hand twitched down to cover the digistruct device strapped to his thigh subconsciously. “Look, you’re Hyperion right? So I’m sure you know exactly who I look like. Trust me though, you wouldn’t want to meet that guy. He wasn’t...anyway. What’s your name kid?”

They both cook… I mean they both can do the basics of cooking at least. I think they’re still together, I don’t know what happens in their lives now. Either nothing’s happened or they don’t bother to contact me.”

“Maybe I should call my mum. Mothers are the type to get worried about their kid right? Ask her about what’s happening in her life and stuff? That would be weird and awkward wouldn’t it? Eh… Whatever, best to leave it alone I guess.”
