It all started with the SpaceX Hyperloop competition. The Hyperloop takes the concept of the pneumatic tube — a vacuum-sealed chute like the one that shunts cash from the bank to your car at a drive-up teller — and blows it up to the size of a train. The result is an incredibly fast conveyance (reaching 760 miles per hour, or 1,200 kilometers per hour) that could cut the commute between the two biggest West Coast cities to less than an hour. Who wouldn't want that? İlk Ticari Hyperloop Hattı Abu Dabi’de Kuruluyor

Yüksek hızla hareket eden kapsüllerle yeni nesil ulaşım deneyimi sunan Hyperloop projesinin ilk ticari hattı Aud Dabi’de kuruluyor.

Süper hızlı yeni nesil bir ulaşım yöntemi olan Hyperloop üzerinde çalışan şirketlerden biri olan HyperloopTransportationTechnologies, Yas Adası’ndaki Formula 1 pistini inşa eden Aldar PJSC şirketiyle Abu Dabi’ye Hyperloophattı kurmaya hazırlanıyor. Anlaşmaya göre, Abu Dabi ile Dubai sınırında bulunan Al Maktoum Uluslararası Hava Alanı yakınına kurulacak olan ticari Hyperloophattının 2020 yılında kullanıma açılması planlanıyor.

Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri’nin (BAE) başkentinde kurulacak olan Hyperloophattının 10 km uzunluğunda olacağı ve Hyperloop Transportation Technologies’in inşa sürecini birkaç farklı aşamaya böldüğü belirtiliyor.

“Bu anlaşma dünyanın ilk ticari Hyperloophattının Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri’nde kurulmasını sağlayacak” diyen HyperloopTransportationTechnologies Başkanı Bibop Gresta, uzun vadede planlarının ise Abu Dabi’den Al Ain’e, Dubai’den Riyad’a kadar uzanan dev bir Hyperloophattı oluşturmak olduğunu söyledi. Gresta, BAE hükümetinin desteği sayesinde Hyperloophattının ilk bölümünün Expo 2020 fuarına yetiştirilmesinin planlandığını duyurdu.

Kurulacak olan hattın hızının ne olacağı ya da yolculuk süresi ile ilgili bilgi verilmedi. Fikir babası Elon Musk olan Hyperloop, teoride saatte yaklaşık 1000 km hızla hareket edebilen kapsüllerle yolculuk yapmayı vaad eden bir teknoloji. Şimdiye kadar yapılan denemelerde ise bu hıza ulaşılamadı.
