Things got ugly today towards the end of the Martinsville race. Chase Elliot is not happy with Denny Hamlin after Denny wrecked him for the lead. Ryan Blaney it seems paid him in kind by wrecking Denny on the final turn. I can imagine things like that have happened in the Cars world if one racer hurts another, and their friend retaliates.

Oh, indeed. I think we tend to see the more friendly races in the movies (with a few exceptions, of course) where everyone gets a long seemingly well, but I’d bet money they’re every bit as aggressive and competitive. No one’s got a clean record when it comes to wrecking others, whether it be in revenge or out of pure desire to win. It’s part of the sport.

Now you got me thinking of all these scenarios where our precious cinnamon rolls have actually done these things and for some reason, I’m loving it. Ooooh the drama….
