What classes do you think the Final Fantasy XV characters would be as Destiny classes? Also, I absolutely love your headcanons and writings!

Dear anon, you ask me about not only Final Fantasy XV, but Destiny as well? I’m so flattered that you asked me about two of my favorite games! Oh ho~ Let me see how I can answer for you. ;D

It Is Your Destiny, Guardian! – FFXV x Destiny AU

Noctis Lucis Caelum – Bladedancer Hunter

He’s probably a hunter type character because of how agile he is in combat. Added with his general finesse of being able to not only use guns, but also blades of sorts, it makes him a well-rounded and deadly force to fight against. 

Typically has a pulse rifle with high stability as his primary weapon as well as perks to being airborne equipped to him, like Icarus. He also probably has a shotgun for more close range combat and a sword on him as his heavy weapon.

I can see his favored exotic being something like the Bad Juju or the Darkdrinker equipped to him as his weapon, and something like the Sealed Ahamkara Grasps or the Crest of Alpha Lupi.

Prompto Argentum – Gunslinger Hunter

Skilled marksman with a lethal precision, Prompto’s able to one-shot some pretty insane bosses with his golden gun, making him a force to be reckoned with. Though ironically, I don’t imagine him to be as battle crazed as someone like Gladio is. No Crucible for Prompto!

Probably would use a variety of hand cannons and perhaps a sniper rifle too. High impact, because one shot means he can avoid the fight as much as he possibly can. Also with a preference to rocket launchers as his heavy.

He probably has exotics that boost his class as well, particularly something like the Celestial Nighthawk and probably uses the Hawkmoon as his primary.

Ignis Scientia – Voidwalker Warlock

The idea of him being a warlock seemed to be rather cool, considering his affinity with more tactical play and more magic based skills like with the Libra Elementia. He probably would be a Voidwalker due to its high sustain and damage, making him one with the void.

His arsenal consists of scout rifles as his go-to primary for precision and reconnaissance and probably a really good sniper rifle along with him for more scouting and observation. Also has a machine gun too, just in case he has to take down a bunch of enemies before him.

He’d probably favor the versatility of the MIDA-Multi-tool or even have the Thunderbird ready for his weapon exotics. Also probably sports the Obsidian Mind or the Voidfang Vestments as his exotic armor piece.

Gladiolus Amicitia – Striker/Defender Titan

He’s probably the one to switch through more than one subclass, considering how he needs to not only protect Noctis and the others, but wreck shit and get fit as well. Likes to hit hard in one fell swoop, so he goes for Striker as his offensive class beyond being Defender too.

He’s the Auto Rifle guy, liking the more spray-and-pray tactics as he charges in head first and either shotguns the enemy to death or punches them. Hard. He’s also a sword guy, probably being that hardcore dude to have all of the swords of each element for his collection. 

His exotics probably would all be sword-related, so the Dark-Drinker, Raze-Lighter, and Bolt-Caster. He’s probably also the dude that wears something like the Helm of Inmost Light or Ruin Wings for his armor set. Something a little bit more knight-looking.

Some other characters include…

Lunafreya Nox Fleuret – Sunsinger Warlock. Fast recovery and plays more of a background role in supporting. Probably studies the Hive too, particularly their summoning rituals at the summoning pits.

Ravus Nox Fleuret – Defender Titan. Focuses exclusively on this class and also strong enough to wield a sword that hits hard and with ease. Lost his arm that was replaced with strange Vex technology by Ardyn’s doing.

Ardyn Izunia – Voidwalker Warlock. Alot stronger than other warlocks, he’s probably also that douche who decided to become a Taken guardian and wreck up everything.

Aranea Highwind – Nightstalker Hunter. Probably has a unique lance with similar properties to Raze-Lighter sword, acting as her heavy and main weapon. Crowd control and destroying your face is how she does it.

Cor Leonis – Sunbreaker Titan. He forges his Sunbreaker ‘hammers’ into a katana sword instead. An older Crucible veteran and a survivor against a Taken champion he encountered on the Moon.

Iris Amicitia – Striker Titan. Perhaps not as strong as her brother (yet), she knows when to throw her grenades for high zoning potential, and a shoulder charge that knocks you on your ass without you realizing.

Cindy Aurum – Stormcaller Warlock. She’s got an electric personality, able to zap, hack, and repair tech with his skills, while also wrecking face when she wants to. She’d rather be doing her own work though.
