my thoughts on moonshot cause i review everything cole sprouse stars in besides riverdale because my posts review riverdale for me

first my love for this movie. it was cheesy yes. so cheesy. but oh my god i died laughing at like all the jokes and we know i would never if my parents were watching with me (my family was out at jurrasic world so i had my own movie night) LESBIAN COUPLE funny jokes (super funny jokes) and cole + lana and i was like just mwah mwah at this movie. since i am learning about archetypes in school i applied them to moonshot as well and I'm saying it that walt is the child/innocent, sophie is the orphan and/or the lover?, captain tart(e)ar is the wise old man (love her tho mwah) leon kovi is the ruler (hate him tho ugh and i will explain) and G.A.R.Y is the joker and yes he is a robot and that's kinda all the characters i wanna talk about

WALT

okay so depsite his name, hes just a child. walt is my bestie. hes my blorbo. he's just so hbhbjl i have no words to describe him. i love him so much he's so innocent. his character was so interesting to see because he was so different from his other roles. most of cole's roles (ha ha rhyme) have been educated, smart, quick-witted and idk just like not walt. walt was the opposite. where will was an entp, i think walt is and enfp or and esfp. most of his other characters have been very logical but walt was not. walt just did stuff. he sent 37 applications to the mars program without thought. after like 3 he should have thought "huh. maybe they don't want me" no he's determined. i loved that about him as soon as i saw him. his determination. he wouldn't give up. he was funny. he cared, when he cares about someone, he cared so much (ginny and sophie) like yeah he just met ginny but he also talked on the phone a lot with her and she interacted and a month passed so i get it he wanted to see her like he felt like she was perfect for him and i would have liked to see that relationship grow a little bit if this movie was longer but then it would have been filler

SOPHIE

sophie i was hesitant about first meeting her like she came in kinda late to the plot imo but it also fit when she came in kinda and like they go to the same college and never saw each other again? no that critique that later anyway sophie. i grew to love her. i didn't like her right away as i did walt but i also wasn't like i hate her character right away. then we see her again in (you guessed it) walts work and they talk all night. sophie is confusing. she hates him then she talks all night? i feel like she doesn't know who she is at the beginning but at the end she has some idea of herself apart from boys and relationships. i also think her box was built around calvin and not what she actually wanted but she already had. at the end, shes more independent and i like that and shes judgemental but in a good way and she takes too much on herself. as soon as walt was found she could have reported him and had nothing to do but she hid him and took it on herself to take care of him. shes too hard on herself. that's my last point on her but like she needs to loosen up in life and with herself

LEON KOVI

least fav character. i hate him. he can die in a ditch. i mean his character had the potential to be the mentor for walt sure but i hated how he was written. after walt meets him he immediately manipulates him to be a campaign for the program that i don't know the name of lol. like he's all "yeah we knew you were sneaking around that was so funny lol anyway i posted it all over social and your famous so i cant really send you down to earth cause its bad pr so sign here and you can live here for free and help me ith campaign and leave everyone you love behind!" he preyed on the fact that walt LITRALLY just got dumped after everything he did for her and he's been obsessed with leon forever and everyone he loves (sophie) is on mars so he takes the deal. the idea for leon to be this mentor to walt was good. if he was a healthy mentor for walt. he also manipulated him to stay so like. he can die

dont really wanna talk about anyone else those are the main people i had thoughts on and also!! calvin was kinda a good boyfriend??? he set all that up for sophie just to have her leave cause she opened the gift from walt and had a talk with jan like i feel bad for him he did love sophie but he didn't put her first and that as kinda the theme so like i get why the had to break up

maybe ill post negative thoughts about the movie generally and not character but that's another day and i have a project to work on lmao

this a bit unprompted, but you always have good opinions, so maybe you can share about some about da (dai) ??? i'd love to hear your takes

wjdfhgkjdfhjfjdkjgdf me???? dude, that’s surprising to hear, considering i rarely nowadays add stuff in tags or something

but i do have unpopular opinions about da, i’d say about dai in particular, most of them are technical but anyway:

dai character creator is actually really really good and love it’s hairstyles!! i’m sucker for different buzzcuts and short hair and i think everything besides brows is very well rounded, quanari haircuts are indeed bad and i simply don’t get why even give long hair on tarot card then if you gonna ignore it

i prefer american female inquisitor voice over british one, i get why it’s more popular but to me it’s a voice of traynor from me3 and i can not work with that (also deeper voice option is always win in my book)

besides to give a great look to locations (and not all of them are good, they look good but the layout is terrible), frostbite is terrible engine and badly optimised. i played dai both with old pc and updated one, geforce expierence reccomended all high settings for the game and it’s bullshit, it doesn’t run well even when i turn all side programs off. also cutscene at 30 fps are wonky too, i understand that’s it’s easier to capture and render, but compare it to da2 which has pure 60 fps (and i have them even on my old notebook). obviously comparing the detes of realeses but idc.

even if game is focused to lavellen and they get the most content (even if it is frustated), i think the best inquisitor is cadash 

also the fact that lavellan get more content and specific interaction isn’t bad, just like cousland gets way more lines and options to pick from and mage hawke got also specific stuff, imo it’s nothing wrong with that (i’d wish it was better written tho)

i love vivienne? so much?? i wish she had better than two fetch quests and some war table operations, but no wonder she got best mage spec :)

blackwall is really good character and romance!!!!!! the fact that he is more simplistic than other characters works for him because he is well rounded and is consistent in a whole game (also hell yes his approval of choices is so good and fits my canons most of the time) 

i’m not that angry that warden isn’t present or just contacted by just one mission on the table, because i don’t trust bioware, i’d rather have my own hcs or visions at this point

tresspasser is good as post game dlc, but it’s initial price it had?? not in goty version??? no freaking way, i want to get back to times when awakening was critised for it’s time playing (yeah)

also dai got a goty in 2014?????? OVER BAYONETTA 2 AND DARK SOULS 2??????????? even with all my complaints regarding to bayo2 as a bayonetta fan and the opinion i have about Souls series, dai being a mess it is getting goty? no. even thought it means nothing actually, knowing the story of developing this game, i’m sometimes really mad about it
