What do I think about Asami’s body and face?? What is there to say about a guy dubbed “the King of Seme’s” 🤭

Obviously he’s got it all! I am sure Akihito finds it endlessly annoying that a man can have brains, brawns, status and wealth all in a single package deal.

As the old man has said, sometimes that comes with its own challenges “Too popular for ones own good”. The Sudo incident isn’t even the first time something like this has happened - the Fei Long situation and the Hong Kong arch are all rooted in a similar problem. Where admiriation and attraction turns into obbession and eventually revenge.

Asami I think is very keenly aware of his physical attractiveness — I mean look at that little upturn in the corners of his mouth in that one panel above. As if he is just holding back from giving a sly little smirking at hearing about his own handsomeness 🤭 As I have said in several posts before, I truly believe that Asami is someone who takes great care of his physical appearance. Unlike Akihito who I view as kinda uncaring about how he outwardly presents himself. In contrast, Asami’s entire personality and character is about how he keeps up with appearances.

He wears custom suits, he slicks his hair back, and keeps his apperance tidy and business like. He obviously works out and keeps himself in prime physical condition. He also doesn’t have tattoes, nor dyes his hair. It fits so much into his persona as outwardly a businessman but secretly a crime boss. This is a character who in our very first introduction of him, was specifically targetting a photographer who was threatening to exposing and tarnishing that very same image that he’s so very protective of.

But interestingly Asami chooses to be with someone — who has seen that “ugly” side and is not fooled by that outward facing persona. Akihito also becomes uniquely the person who gets to see the real Asami as well, the one nobody else even knows about or has seen.

I also dont think it would surprise anyone, if I were to say that Asami has used his own allure and attractiveness to get what he wants.

I mean look at this above panel. “I’m not nearly as popular as you!” he says to the old man 😳 Who even is he right now?? Does that sound like the Asami we know?? But he can turn on the charm and act the part as well as anyone else— when it suits him.

Do I have to remind you all about the Flower on the High Loft arch? He explicitly knew what he was doing with Fei Long— and it only back fired because he started to feel guilty about how much Fei Long’s life was getting f-ed up because of him. And I think on some level we all know that he knew all along how Sudo felt about him, and he always played with those feelings to get as much use out him as possible.

I also don’t think its a stretch to say that Asami used his face, his physical attractiveness— his body to entrap Akihito, when there was nothing else he could offer the photographer. Akihito could not be bought out, or tempted with success or money. As I said, he was the one person who saw totally through Asami, but even though Akihito vehemently denied having feelings or being attracted to Asami — as any seme would say — “his body said other wise” (the classic seme line 🤭). He was guilty of still being attracted to Asami despite whatever logic he tried to use to stay away from him. Akihito fell for that hook line and sinker! He was hella seduced by Asami and Asami all but admits how he used sex to “bind Akihito to him”.

Who is your least favorite character from Naruto?

Hm. Well, the answer that sprang immediately to mind was Danzo, followed right after by Hiruzen … but no. It’s easy to say you don’t like them, and be able to list multiple reasons why. But, being the way I am, I’m a hardcore completist. It physically pains me when something is left undone. This extends to characters, and in Naruto, that character for me is probably Ten Ten.

I don’t hate her. But I don’t like characters that are added into something “just because”. In her case I think she was in Team Gai just to put a female body in that sea of men. They give her some great skills with weapons, and … that’s kinda it. In Boruto she’s unmarried and owner of a weapons shop … during a time of “peace” when nobody seems to need or want weapons. Gai has a storied history, Neji has his tragic Hyuga background and amazing character arc ((up until they killed him to further Naruto/Hinata)), Lee went from a nobody to building himself up with sheer hard work and focus and determination. But … what happened to Ten Ten? Did she get an arc, or something really unique to her character, or did we ever get any information about family or clan or love interests or literally anything?? No.

She’s a bit more interesting in the Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals manga/anime spin-off, but I don’t know if I feel like that counts, exactly. Like in the RL anime it’s shown that she greatly admires Lady Tsunade and she laments that she can’t be her student because she cant(?) do medical ninjutsu.

You know what would have been interesting? You know who could have been cool for her to study under, to better learn how to handle multiple weapons at once?

Also she gave off some strong Sapphic vibes, to me. Have Sakura give a party, have Ten Ten show up with this otherworldly beauty on her arm, and when they question who she is, Ten Ten just casually goes “Oh; this is my wife.”

Or or. Okay so Sasuke is for some reason staying at Orochimaru’s “house” for awhile. And one night at like midnight he’s at the fridge to get a class of milk. Karin (who also stays there) comes out of her room in lingerie. Sasuke thinks she’s coming to try and seduce him and he’s prepared to reject her but she just nods at him and starts making a sandwich. She turns her head and calls back to her room “Babe? karlheinz:

yknow what it feels wrong to headcanon him as having anything but huge and impressive fangs. he's the vampire king. a demon lord. also i think definitely for vampires, and maybe some of the other species that are in dl,, , fangs are,, ,sort of a big deal. especially for nobles, probably. 

being the vampire king, karl’s fangs are both the most painful as well as pleasurable. might as well be poison or something because i feel like getting bitten by karl has to be one of the most addicting things ever. idk how he does it but,, that’s that.

oh, and for whatever reason, despite how large his fangs are, you will rarely ever see them unless he’s actually baring them, intentionally flaunting them as a way to show his status, i suppose.

don’t be fooled. idk if it’s magic or something but they’re huge. he doesn’t use them unnecessarily like his sons, and only those who are worthy, or potentially worthy, of feeling them will get to experience it.

at least his fangs are something he can pride himself on, lol. it brings me pain just to say that they’re not as impressive as karl’s. and honestly cordelia being the mean gal she was probably used this to her advantage and belittled richter because of it.

this doesn’t mean they’re not bigger than the diaboys, either though. they are. also, richter’s fangs are pretty dull, but they still get the job done. his bites are really gentle, too. it’s not even intentional most of the time, he just has like.. a really soft bite. it’s nice. am i biased? probably.

having first blood dna in her kinda makes her fangs stand out but not in a bad way. they’re a bit on the shorter side but they’re very sharp and kind of thick. she has a really really strong bite force and will not hesitate to use it lol

although if you are getting bitten by cordelia? it.. lowkey probably does feel like a treat. which both be a result of her fangs but also the fact that usually while she’s feeding off of someone, she’s also seducing them. it’s a bit twisted,, because cordelia is intent about making it as painful as can be yet at the same time she wants you to feel the conflict of being so aroused about it. that’s her goal, at least.

Honestly I thought of this one because of a weird dream I had that I couldn't really remember but I could remember the feeling of being chased or hunted by something. Dreamer darling uses lucid dreaming as an escape from reality, sleeping and dreaming constantly, probably to an unhealthy degree. They don't really remember their dreams, or even remember how talented they are in lucid dreaming (in terms of crafting and controlling dreams) but they know that sleep is more comforting than any other past time. At least it used to be, until suddenly, rather than feeling rested and happy as usual, they wake up anxious, unable to shake the feeling that they've caught the attention of something dangerous. They start staying awake, some small voice in their head telling them that sleeping is dangerous now, and every time they do inevitably fall asleep, they wake up feeling more and more worried and scared each time, as something unknown gets closer and closer.

The second is a royal obsessing over a commoner/ servant, I'm inclined to say gardener or knight cause I love the dynamic of, small man in power who has never labored in his life attempts to seduce/ intimidate bigger, work hardened commoner who is just mildly annoyed by their boss bothering them when they have things to do. The prince is bratty and spoiled but not much of a threat considering he's a long way off from ascending the throne and can't get away with anything too crazy until then. He always seems to be everywhere their favorite servant is though, talking their ear off about how when he rules he'd make it illegal to reject him so they'll have to come around eventually, why not make it easier and just come to his chambers with him now? When he overhears his favorite commoner telling other servants of their plans to travel, go far away from this kingdom and him with it, he decides its prudent to put a rush on that ascending to the throne thing, sorry dad, it's for love ❤

I like the first concept lots. Mostly because I'm big on creatures that are related to the mind. Monsters who always seem to have different features when you see them, they can't quite decide what you react best to yet so they're going to expose you to multiple versions of themselves until they hit the nail on the head. Do you ever wonder if dream demons (nightmares?) get lonely? Maybe some lucid dreamers have the ability to see/interact with them, but those are so rare... I can definitely see curiosity or loneliness as the basis of an obsession for a dream demon. Or may not. Maybe they're already so powerful they just sought you out to snuff the life out of you while you slumber, but you manage to impress them somehow, perhaps with your abilities to shape dreamscapes?

As much as I just eat up power imbalances, I'm probably not the best person to ask about for king/peasant or prince/commoner stories, since I don't really consume many of those, nor am I honestly cultured enough to make one minimally immersive. 💀 Though, if you're doing a kingdom of monsters, I can totally see humans being either discriminated against or glorified, and that's an interesting twist in my opinion. I definitely love the idea of a yandere character already showing signs of hysteria but not being taken seriously because of their appearance or their position in society, it makes their victory sweeter. You know what we don't see enough of? Royal darlings and yandere peasants. Maybe several yandere commoners at once! >:]

If I may, I have a duology that's my favorite… You've heard of "six of crows" it doesn't focus on romance, there's practically no romance, let's start there (I realized that I love fantasies with crumbs of romance or almost nonexistent, hahaha) this duology has a place in my heart💘

It's a book that divides many opinions, even here in my country. Have you heard of "All Your Imperfections" by Colleen Hoover? That's the book in question. To be honest, my reaction was more motivated by the fact that pre-established concepts before I even finished it went against what I realized at the end. I don't know what to think… I'm on the fence and all I know is that I like it enough to wonder why I don't like it, and I don't like it enough to wonder why I like it, lmao.

I might lean into re-writing one of them again from the top. The other one, I'm seeing if I can start again and I might just continue the way it is going - it's with the reader healing so, I'm happy about it for now. And it's a combination of all of those, in all honesty. I want to fulfill the request to the best of my ability and of course, author's insecurities. This is the first time, in a long time, I have written fanfiction. And I'm still reading the books, so it's always so difficult to ensure that the characters are still in character.

I am mostly a murder/mystery type of girl when it comes to books, movies, and dramas. I used to read, of course, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Hunger Games, etc. I used to read fantasy romances, but that was a long time ago. As an adult in my 30s, I tend to stay away (because I always thought it was very... predictable). And so picking up ACOTAR was a big thing for me. And I really don't regret it. I loved the story and the world building.

Dan Brown's is a murder/mystery novelist. Some of his books became movies that featured Tom Hanks! I highly recommend them! I have "One Dark Window" & "Two Twisted Crowns" by Racgek Gukkubg and "Divine Rivals" & "Ruthelss Vows" by Rebecca Ross as the two duologies on my shelf right now that I will read next after ACOTAR. I have heard of "Six of Crows"! I might look into it!

Grog is a very, very familiar animation character- in dialogue, dynamics, etc. But thinking about what I know from Travis playing his characters  + bits I’ve seen of stream Grog, its interesting to be able to see the differences, even though this Grog seems like a pretty standard animation style character.
