Omg "From the start" is such a Techza song it literally captures everything I headcanon about them kwndisjdus

And I feel like "Love like you" (I've never seen the steven universe series but I like the songs) is also something that I imagine Techno dedicating to Phil especially the part that says "I wish that I knew, what makes you think I'm so special"

"Love like you" is such a good song for techza!! It gives me "imortals who have known eachother dearly for eons, they would die and kill for eachother without a blink. And yet, one (or both) are unable to speak of their true love for eachother becouse it would also mean that they might return those feelings. Witch might be worse because that means that they themself are someone deserving of such love. And that's a much harder pill to swollow"

And it fits techno and philza so well because even though they both are such capable caracters they still struggle with the whole "self love" and "i desserve good things too" part. I headcanon that phil might actually struggle a bit more than techno with this. Mostly because i feel like philza hides his own feelings more (both from himself and others) witch leads to him having more sudden 'oustburst'. Man is a alcohol bottle on fire wating to exsplode. (And in qsmp we get to see how long he actually holds gruges and remembers things people have done against and for him. I love the sides of him we get there. Exstremely bird man)

meanwhile techno *knows* he deserves good things and that his feelings are valid. But the world have constantly thrown his kindness back at him with some kind of 'betrayal'. (Like tommy in the dream smp. Or arlusfinch in the trial against the antartic empire (witch lmao, are two widly different examples)) but phil has never thrown it back like that. In fact philza's strong and unvavering loyalty to techno is one of the majoir points as to why techno has such trust in philza too.
