i miss when we all interpreted shigaraki’s quirk as true decay rather than just reducing things to dust. i remember fics that had him rot things as he touched them and it was so much more visceral

Au where Hawks makes a promise to protect Touyas siblings so he straight up kidnaps them all from Endeavor after Touya dies. He gets away with it cause he threatens Endeavor.

Tells him of he tries anything he will expose him, ruin his career amomg other things. So Endeavor leaves him be.

Endeavor isnt allowed to see his kids, talk to them unless they approach him first and isnt allowed to ask for Shoto to join his agency. He sends Hawks money to pay for food, their school and any other needs they need.

So the three siblings actually end up having a better life and better relationship together. Hawks is their brother and also get to learn more about Touya.

Shoto goes to UA and is able to use his fire and make friends quickly. Like he comes home everyday with a big smile on his face and tells them about his day.

He sees his mum every weekend and tells her about his week and what its like living with Hawks. Shes so thankful to the hero who promises to get her away from Endeavor when the time comes for her release.

When it comes to the sports festival he still comes second but this time around he uses his fire easily well until he finds out Endeavor is there then he stops.

Hawks who is at the sports festival just about loses it seeing Endeavor is there and watching Shoto so carefully.

So what he does he gets to am area where Shoto can see him and in the loudest voice he screams "GO SHOTO YOU GOT THIS! MAKE TOUYA PROUD!" And that works. Hawks is a smug little shit for the next week.

Endeavor tries to get Shoto to join him for internships but Shoto not only freaks out but also joins Hawks agency.

Hawks loses it at Endeavor, tells him hes on his last strike and he better watch his back or else.

Hosu happens and Hawks isnt even sure how he managed to lose Shoto but hey hes not complaining. Of course Endeavor gets the credit.

While Deku, Iida and Shoto are healing Hawks comes by and he grins. Shoto is scared hes gonma get in trouble. "You three are fucking epic! Taking down Stain like that! Im proud!" He even shouts them ice cream.

Probably not a smart idea and Deku and Iida question Shoto about it who just shrugs and the conversation is dropped.

Training camp happens and Hawks freaks the fuck out, doesnt blame Aizawa though he knows he did everything he could. He just about goes with the rescue team when Shoto disappears.

Instead he stays home to comfort Natsuo and Fuyumi who are both worried asf.

Shoto comes home and he looks shaken. He hadnt said anything to Hawks when he had seen him at the hospital but he looks at him. "Dabi...He reminds me of Touya..."

The three are shocked. Touya was dead? But Hawks promises to look into it, tells Shoto to not worry.

Time skip and Hawks can see why Shoto thinks of Dabi as Touya, he reminds him to much of him.

Hes in the league now. Hes close with Dabi, still trying to figure him out. See if he is Touya. He cant figure it out.

One day Dabi turns up out of the blue and Shoto, Natsuo and Fuyumi are home. The four just stare at each other.

"HAWKS!" Shoto screams and Hawks comes running out shirtless and in some rrally girly looking pajama pants. "Whos dying!?" He asks.

The three point go Dabi. "Shit." Is all he says. "The fuck?" Dabi had no clue why his siblings were with Hawks.

"Anything you want to tell us Hawks." Fuyuni sounds all smug. "Im not fucking him?" Hawks tries. "Isnt that what you said about not dating Touya?" Shoto pips up.

"We werent dating!" Hawks argues. Dabi looks confused. "Hawks here kidnapped us after our brother died." Natsuo explains.

"Hey! I was keeping my promise! Touya made me promise to protect you! So I did." Hawks folds his arms.

Dabi is still confused but honestly so thankful to Hawks. "Thank you." He says quietly but Hawks hears him. He grins. "Looks like you were right Sho." He says.

"Im usually always right. What am I right about this time?" Shoto asks. "First off you were wrong about your boyfriend not liking you back and second Dabi." Hawks smirks.

"That you and Dabi are together? I mean you arent subtle. We know you sneak him in." Shoto says and Hawks blushes.

"Im leaving." Dabi turns and leaves. "Did we scare him off??" Natsuo questions after hes gone.

Time goes by and Hawks decides to quit his mission. Tells the three siblings everything and they do what they can to protect him. Endeabor tries to take his kids back after he finds out Hawks was with the league

So Hawks exposes him. "I warned you." He tells Endeavor one day. Dabi goes after Hawks, tries to kill him for betraying the league, for leaving him.

Hawks just hugs him. "Its okay Touya. Come home." Dabi is frozen. He doesnt know what to do but he goes back with him.

It takes a lot of work but Hawks manages to get Dabi a plea deal. Manages to keep him out of jail, and on home detention.

Also gets his scars treated. So he no longer has staples to keep him together.

It takes time for the two to get fheir relationship back but they get it back. Shoto makes it his missiom to annoy the living shit out of Dabi, just cause he was bored.

Hawks cant even stop him but ome night hes in his room woth Dabi who still wants to be called Dabi and not Touya and the two are getting it on when Shoto knocks on the door.

They stop. "Dabi ooen the door. Its important." So Dabi does. He gets glitter thrown at him. "Im going back to being a fucking villain."

Hawks is dying of laughter. Shoto looks smug, and as annoyed as Dabi is he feels happy. He just feels really happy and thags all that matters.
