I bought a new phone over a week ago and still have not started using it which seems ridiculous but like...changing over is ending up being more emotionally difficult than I was expecting lol.
Not really, but I've had this one for 5 years so it has been through an incredible amount of shit with me and has withstood much abuse (smashed on rocks, dropped in rivers, yeeted across the sidewalk as I trip, etc).
It has started to show its age in little malfunctions, and a respectable amount of time has passed so I figured I would get a new one. But now I kinda wish I had waited to see how long this one would last. I think i could get another year out of it?
Today I finally applied the screen protector and put the case on my new phone (I've had both for several days). I am going to try switch to it tomorrow and finally bid my old V30 goodbye.
#except not truly goodbye because it was so beat up that ATT didn't want it as a trade in 😅#so my v30 will just be going into the old text box#i am sad lg isnt making phones anymore#my very first cell was an lg#and i loved my v10 and v30#their physical integrity is fucking amazing#when i say smashed on a rock im not kidding#i slipped while hiking and smashed the screen on a small rock with most of my weight behind it#and all it did was obliterate a like .5 cm section of the screen where it made contact#and send a cew small fractures along the bottom of the screen#if im using my phone you can barely tell its cracked#meanwhile my mom tripped and dropped her iphone and the whole screen shattered lol#anyways#personal#my v30 has served me well and i am thankful for its service#i am so sorry for all ive put you through and i wish you a peaceful sleep in the tech box#i think my old note 2 is in there to keep you company#oh also my new phone is heavier than my v30 which im irritated about but it was the only option that met my needs so#i have tiny tiny hands the extra weight is not appreciated
