canine girl in all her doggy glory!! already posted her design and profile the other day, but i updated her profile and i want all her images in one post.. speaking of her profile, warning warning for talk of violence there more on canine (+ lyrics?!! Woah!!) under the cut:)

canine girl is inspired/an au of my oc alík, but i don't think it'd be wrong to say she's a different character alltogether? while the things she struggles with are things that alík does, too, she's more like.. idk ❤️only i can understand this ...

as you may have guessed by her warning, canine girl has violent intrusive thoughts, and feels extremely guilty for them, even if she never acts out on them. her profile doesnt get too into this .. since she feels that guilt and shame, i don't think she'd wanna share the details online .. or with anybody ever.. you know how it is 💥

her design is smth i struggled with greatly .. her mask is this

and as soon as i saw it on alíks pinterest board i was set on using it and im sooo happy i did!! i think it works greatly..!!! other notable things about her design, that im happy with, are mostly to do with her hoodie. her hoodie-ears are actual ears, shes just hiding them:) and its made to resemble a service dog vest!

you can't really see it in the 'fake screenshot' art, the first one, but she's got a kind of belt (harness ?) around her chest !! its around her shoulders too.. and her chain hanging from that could be interpreted as a leash ig ?? idk 💥💥you'll never understand sinister minds inner workings... another design-y thing is !! shes got her arms around herself in the fake screenshot, which is bc she's hiding her claws from you 💥her eyes are also made to resemblea wolfs:)

her pants are just like that bc its alíks fashion sense 💥and bc i think they fit! and i like them!! a little treat just for me:)

another thing that i wanna talk about is her profile!! its so !! chill !! the colours are warm and inviting, her info there is silly, she invites you to talk with her if you're struggling, shes got fun blinkies.. !! shes just having fun on a site hanging out and chilling .. its like that bc i wanted to show, even if in a little way, that intrusive thoughts arent indicative of a persons identity. canine's intrusive thoughts don't make her a bad person, they don't make her a rabid dog like she thinks, they just make her somebody with intrusive thoughts. shes more than her intrusive thoughts, you know ??

anyhow! the lyrics !! i wrote lyrics for a theoretical song that she would have, but Wont, because im not a songwriter. i might make a silly littly tune for her one day, like a minute long at most, most likey shorter, so these lyrics are what you get !! and also it was my second time writing actual lyrics (first time was 10 minutes before when i was writing lyrics for another tptm oc, unknown girl) so Dont be meanies... 1. Just like Yuu- i got a whooole playlist for her. Just like all my other OCs! Though I am more set on one specific song that defines her best: Seashore

2. At RSA? Chenya! At NRC? Kalim Al Asim. Both of them make her laugh. Chenya more than Kalim, but Kalim's extroverted tendencies help her open up a bit more to pretty much everyone. It's hard to be badass when such a cinnamon roll is always around.

3. Riddle Rosehearts. Ahhh, the one who breaks rules for what they think is the greater good, and the rule enforcer. Plus, they both have an AWFUL temper. When they're not pissed off to hell and back or breaking rules, they can actually get along decently.

4. Bugs and spiders. Fuck them. Nope. Crushing them with a baseball bat ASAP. This fear practically runs in the family.

5. P.E. It's the only class in school she's ever enjoyed. Exercising helps her blow off steam and keep her temper in check.

6. Umm... is all of the above an option? Most of the time she just doesn't show up. If I had to say one that she'd be bad at if she actually tried, it'd be Alchemy. It's too close to cooking, and this woman would burn down a house trying to make mac n cheese.

7. Welp, she played baseball a TON back in high school. It's something her and her siblings always practiced together, so it reminds her of home. That's for RSA, though. 9. Sam! She's immune to his capitalist tactics, but besides that they're pretty chill. Plus he isn't a teacher, which means he doesn't scold her for misbehaving. That's definitely a plus.

11. It's a tie between Jack Howl and Deuce Spade... or maybe leaning more towards Jack given her delinquent tendencies. She wouldn't be a good influence for Deuce, and she knows that. Jack and her relate a lot to each other. Though she doesn't really care about growing stronger as much. She just enjoys exercising and a more athletic physique.

12. Harveston! She's never been sledding before, but she is biased towards winter sports. Trying it out would be fun.

I'm a big fan of ambiguous endings, but sometimes the ending just comes. I don't really go in with a plan for my one-shots, I just sit down and start writing, so most of the times the endings surprise me too 😭 But definitely ambiguous, or at least a little sad (yet still satisfying)!!

👻 What is your wildest headcanon?

Dark Mirror is no one bc it's an eldritch horror that a mage trapped in a panopticon-esque chamber, and it's forced to view thousands of worlds via mirrors, which is how it found Yuu 😭 either that or Yuu and Grim are two halves of an entity (Chernabog) separated and only joined bc the spell putting Grim to sleep wore off. Absolutely BATSHIT headcanons but they are in my brain 😔

💥 What is one canon thing that you wish you could change?

CONSEQUENCES FOR ACTIONS. Listen I love my rhythmics but idk I think you can't just be stealing magic, or almost killing people, or imprisoning people and get off with a warning and some therapy. 1. What’s their full name? If they’re an alien and their name is in their native planet’s language, have you thought about what it means?

This is ironically very simple because unless the character is a noble, their full name is just their name lmao. Optionally there can be a patronymic/matronymic or a place of their birth added, so for Nyr, it would go like "Nyr from/of Ruoma, the son of Harin and Syssa" (i would LOVE to write this in his birth language but i haven't gotten around to actually constructing it (i say as i construct a conlang that no character from the cast speaks)). As for nobles, they usually have one name, sometimes two (applies mainly to royalty), and the name of their house which is basically just a surname.

Also i actually have Sorkish naming conventions laid down so I can show them off teehee. It is very simple (/s), it's just the name itself + patronymic for men/matronymic for women (these are default, they can be changed later as the person pleases) + name of parent's clan (if they were born in a different clan) + name of the clan they were born in + name of the clan they currently reside in (if not same as the natal clan) + their school of thought.

So, when Yrsk used to live in Sorka (where they called him Tarqáz), his name would look like this:

I am so sorry for this rambling, i really like very long fucked up names. And yes Yrsk had to use the name in its whole glory whenever he had to introduce himself because Sorkish people deeply care about names.

I have to choose old czech cartoons because they are just so precious to me and i bet my ocs would love them as well. Also throwing gravity falls in because shameless self-insert. Tbh no clue about the characters lmao, i feel like my ocs would simply love them all.

18. What type of singing voice does your OC have?

I actually have this figured out 💥💥 Permanent Rebellion from L.S.Dunes is a song where the singer's voice gives me big Nyr vibes, it's not 100% him but it feels close enough (except the screaming, thats more of an Yrsk thing. i feel like he would love to scream while singing). Unfortunately i have no voice claim for Yrsk, not even a close enough one, it's actually so hard to figure out because he sounds extremely specific in my head.
