It's a shame Dream didn't get to see Hob murder his way through numerous cultists and guards of the Burgess estate to break out Dream. What with Dream being so much into Hob coming to his defence.

I mean, "Hob saves Morpheus from Roderick Burgess" isn't probably the single most popular Dreamling plot bunny, complete with its own category tag on AO3, for no reason. It is obviously a simple but delicious premise in many ways. And given that Dream looked at Hob like he wanted to eat him post-Hob casually wasting Lady Johanna’s thugs without breaking a sweat (it was indeed very sexy, ngl), we can safely assume that this is indeed quite a turn-on for him. Ahem.
