I love your townie makeovers! Which one is your favorite and least favorite you’ve done?
Hey there, thank you so much! Apologies in advance for this long winded response to what should be a simple question, lol.
It's kind of hard to say because there are soooooo many freaking sims and my level of satisfaction varies wildly from 'I'm obsessed and irrationally attached' to 'what were you thinking and did you even try". I don't think I could choose a single fave so here's my top 3 of each:
FAVORITES
Candy Behr - the color palette of the dress felt perfect for her and the hair is now exclusively hers in my game. for some sims my vision is just there along with the items to fulfill it and i've got lotsss of ideas for her full lookbook.
Don Lothario - the icon, the legend. his looks are actually mostly finished because it was just so easy to turn him into the chick magnet he's meant to be. there aren't enough outfit slots for all the looks i could give him.
Gemma Charm - not too sure why i love her so much, maybe just because she's recent lol. i did feel like i struggled with a lot of the occults - her included - but when i got there it felt right. i feel like filling out her wardrobe will be tough, but all in good time.
LEAST FAVORITES
Cassandra Goth -and honestly the whole goth fam but shhh i'm always intimidated because of how iconic she is and when i was doing willow creek i really didn't have a vision. nothing i tried really spoke to me so i knew i'd need to let her simmer more and revamp her later. since then a couple of cc sets have come out that screaaaam cassie so i'm actually itching to give her another try.
Faye Harris - there's a theme in these choices of not having the elusive *vision* of the sim. she's a prime example of a pattern that emerged through this process: if i'm not in a deep deep love with their hair the look is most likely not going come together the way i hope. nothing felt just right so i settled on something to keep progressing and imagine she'll be quite different after another pass.
Caleb Vatore - another icon, only i do have the vision.....just not the pieces that match said vision. he is suffering primarily from the injustice suffered by all masculine frame dressing sims in my game - a lack of quantity and variety in custom content. shopping will be in order through the lookbook round because it was a struggle all the way through for the mens.
