pain and suffering at work pt 2
#im so blessed this week to have a meeting literally every day that causes me immense stress#like normally we wouldnt be having daily meetings about this except one team member is leaving so like.#but i feel like theyre gonna put the responsibility of this on ME when he leaves and idk how to be like. guys i do not want that!#(and i can say that i dont want to do it because This Isn't My Job and My Manager Didn't Assign Me To This I Volunteered)#cause if it was my manager and my job description i'd be screwed and have to do it anyway#but since im just like. doing this. for another section. as a volunteer.#i feel like i reserve the right to not get stuck in charge of it all.#idk man everyone in this presentation/project/team is more ambitious than me shrug#i do want to help but i dont want longterm responsibility? this isnt my job and i dont want it to be#the only reason it's any of my business at all is that I Keep Being Assigned To It which is why we all wanna improve the process#but im afraid that attempting to improve the process will just result in me having to do the process all the time indefinitely#sigh.
