because one day he’s telling todd about the play, and he’s smiling so big, and his eyes are sparkling and the light of the sunset is painting him and ohgodhessobeautiful and todd can’t stop himself from reaching out and taking his hand and pressing their lips together

neil doesn't even hesitate to kiss him back

it’s soft and slow, just lips on lips and it’s the best thing either have felt

neil tells him he loves likes him but didnt want to make him uncomfy due to the numerus seduction attempts todd’s a victim to

todd says that’s sweet and kisses him again and neil thinks he’s not really paying attention but it’s ok cuz they’re kissing again and again 

todd still gets asked out but now neil can punch people in the face and say “hands off my boyfriend”
