Note: I’m at an internet cafe !! I don’t really like these places because they’re full of boys playing games but I couldn’t stomach not going on tumblr for so long a time urgh. Hope you guys like this! It’s part 1 of 2 c:

“Hyung? Yoongi-hyung wake up”

Yoongi stirred from his sleep, eyes bitter and a little disoriented from being woken up.

“Jimin? What time is it?” He lifted his head off the pillow slightly, turning to look at the dancer tucked into his side.

“A little past two. I’m sorry.” Jimin mumbled, face heating up out of embarrassment. “I should’ve just let you sleep.”

“No baby, it’s okay.” Yoongi mumbled, shifting his body so he could wrap his arms around Jimin, letting the younger boy cuddle into his bare chest. “Talk to me.”

Jimin hesitated, he couldn’t sleep ever since they had laid down because it was one of those nights again. The nights where Jimin began to have doubts, another one of many, and they wouldn’t let him rest. His heart contracted in his chest as he held Yoongi tighter.

“Do you…” he whispered, not trusting his voice “Are you… sure?”

Yoongi didn’t understand, his eyebrows furrowed in the dark and he ducked down to look at Jimin’s face, a hand unraveling from his body so Yoongi could cup his cheek.

“What do you mean?”

Jimin gulped, he wanted to know but he didn’t really want to explain himself, everything just got a lot harder.

“Nothing, forget it.” He smiled, giving Yoongi a chaste kiss before he nestled his nose into his hyung’s neck. “Let’s just sleep.”

“Jimin, I know you.” The hand that was cupping Jimin’s cheek now played with the hair at his nape, an attempt to soothe Joimin and hopefully comfort him. “I know you won’t be able to sleep until you get to say what’s bothering you.”

Jimin sighed, Yoongi was right and he hated how well he knew him. He took a hard gulp, trying to swallow down the fear, hoping the doubts and insecurities would go down with it.

Jimin had confessed a few months back, no longer able to hide his feelings for Yoongi when they only grew stronger every day. They were out on the balcony of their paid suite in a city Jimin couldn’t pronounce properly. Post-concert high kept them awake while it exhausted the others completely.

Yoongi had found Jimin on his own and asked if he could join him, Jimin said that his company would be appreciated and they sat in a comfortable silence for a while. Until Jimin began to shiver from the cold night air, Yoongi had brought a blanket out with him, offering to wrap half of it around Jimin to share warmth. So Jimin found himself shoulder to shoulder with the older boy, thanking the deities that Yoongi couldn’t see him flush red in the dark.

Yoongi soon began to talk of how lucky he found them, being able to make music and travel the world with people they held closest. He continued to speak, but Jimin’s eyes were only trained on the way his lips moved softly, smoothly. He wanted to know what they felt like, so when Yoongi turned to ask him a question, Jimin surged forward before he could chicken out of the one perfect chance he was given.

Jimin meant for it to be quick, chaste and purely innocent. But Yoongi’s hand made its way to Jimin’s neck, pulling the younger boy closer and allowing their lips to continue moulding together. After a while, Jimin pulled back, eyes half lidded and lips swollen as he looked at Yoongi, spewing out words he wanted to say for the longest time, the rush and exhilaration of his antics pumping adrenaline through his veins. But as Yoongi only smiled, laughed and told him that it was about time, Jimin relaxed and kissed him again.

They had learned everything about each other, memorising their quirks and mannerisms like the backs of their hands, fitting like a puzzle piece when they finally made the decision to move even further and share a bed. But Jimin wasn’t ready for whatever came next, Yoongi knew that and he didn’t push Jimin, allowing their relationship to move at whatever pace Jimin wanted. But the dancer was afraid, not only was he insecure of his voice, looks and build, but he was also insecure of how much he put out. Yoongi was way more experienced than him, wouldn’t he get tired of waiting? What if Jimin finally did take the plunge and Yoongi didn’t find it as satisfying as he thought it’d be? Would he leave Jimin?

These were the thoughts that haunted Jimin most nights, but tonight was the first one he plucked up the courage to actually talk to Yoongi about it. Or at least… try to talk to Yoongi about it.

“Baby” Yoongi mumbled, kissing the crown of Jimin’s head gently “you know you can tell me anything, right?”

Jimin knew that. Yoongi had been nothing but transparent in their relationship despite Jimin’s translucency, hiding some parts of him he was too ashamed to show.

“Do you… still… w-want this?” Jimin screwed his eyes shut as he felt Yoongi pull away from him, the loss of his warmth making Jimin shrink slightly.

“Jimin, of course I do. What are you talking about?”

“I-I… I just… you’ve been waiting on me for so long and… I…” Jimin couldn’t find the words, his tongue betraying him and tying itself together but he still managed to choke the rest of his sentence out. “I’m afraid you’re getting tired of this. Of me”

It was barely above a whisper, maybe even softer than that if Yoongi wasn’t paying so much attention, but he had caught on every word. Jimin was afraid Yoongi would leave him because he wasn’t ready for sex.

“Jimin” he cooed, taking his chin between the bend of his forefinger and the pad of his thumb, speaking softly as the dancer’s eyes slowly turned glassy. “Baby, I waited months for you to finally see my feelings for you on your own, waiting for you to be ready for that kind of thing is nothing. I’ll wait for you, we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.”

“But, but what if I suck?”

“Shouldn’t you?” Yoongi winked, earning an embarrassed sniffle from Jimin and a smack to the arm, but seeing the younger’s smile was more than worth it. “Baby, there is nothing in this world you could do that would drive me away.”

Jimin blushed, a small smile on his face but Yoongi knew that he wasn’t entirely convinced.

“Have I ever told you what I was thinking the first time you kissed me?”

Jimin shook his head lightly, plump lips sealed as he waited for Yoongi to carry on.

“I told you about how we were lucky to do what we love, with the people we love. Right?” Yoongi paused, making sure Jimin remembered what part of the conversation he was talking about. When he was, he continued to speak. “You beat me to confessing”

Jimin’s eyes widened, they had never talked about this before. Yoongi gave him a sleepy smile, kissing his forehead gently.

“Who knew that shy little Jiminie had more guts than me?”

Jimin blushed, resting his head against Yoongi’s chest and trying to hide it, but the older boy could feel his face heat up and chuckled fondly.

“It was the best night of my life, Jimin.” He said gently, lifting Jimin’s face to look at him and cup his cheek again “And every night with you is the best night of my life, fuck I can barely sleep unless you’re beside me.”

Jimin smiled. Almost there.

“And every morning I get to wake up with you in my arms, it just gets me so excited to live, you know? I’m excited to spend every single day with you be it at recording, seats apart at interviews because we have to hide or brushing hands at concerts because the world isn’t ready for this.” He took a breath “For us.”

“Yoongi, I-“

“And I want you to know that you have nothing to worry about when it comes to you and me because I am so, so fucking happy with you. And I know I don’t show it most of the time but, fuck, I am so lucky. I am the luckiest man in the world and you’re probably the unluckiest because you’re drowning in word vomit but I love you, Jimin.”

Yoongi was breathless, eyes subconsciously wandering around their dark room and he finally looked at Jimin again. His eyes were wide, lips slightly parted and Yoongi fought against everything inside him to not kiss him silly.

“Yoongi…”

“I love you. I’m in love with you, and every single part of you. Everything you love, I love. Everything you hate, I love. Because you are the only perfect thing in my life.”

Jimin didn’t say anything, what could he say? Yoongi had let slip the same words a few times before but they were all little “love you”’s stolen in public or teasing at home. This, Jimin couldn’t vouch for it but he was pretty sure, was the first time Yoongi had said it completely, genuinely without anyone else to stop him.

“Baby, there’s nothing I could ever want more” Yoongi whispered, leaning towards Jimin slowly “there is nothing better than this, with you.”

His lips met Jimin’s softly, breathing each other in just like they did so many times before. Whatever worries keeping the dancer awake finally disappeared for the night and the only thing on his mind was the feel of Yoongi’s lips on his, Yoongi’s hand caressing his cheek and how Jimin could never believe how any of this was real. It was all a dream. Yoongi was a dream come true and Jimin could never be thankful enough.

“I love you, Yoongi.” He breathed, eyes closed and forehead resting against Yoongi’s, sighing in contentment. “You’re home to me.”

Jimin smiled, and so did Yoongi. He pulled Jimin closer as he lied on his back, letting Jimin throw an arm around his waist as he rested his head on Yoongi’s chest, Yoongi’s arms circling Jimin’s body to hold him as close as he could.

“Sleep well, baby.”

“I always do.”

I got into a minor car accident yesterday afternoon while I was parallel parking on Walnut Street in Philadelphia. I was backing up and I hit the curb. The front end of my vehicle was still sticking our quite a bit, so I pulled out a little bit so I could pull in the rest of the way. The person behind me thought that I was done parking so pulled around me and I ended up hitting her. Her fender and her door skin need to be replaced.
