I was thinking about Reader being chosen as one of the Commentators for extra spice actually— imagine how much harder the boys work to get your approval, this is the moment they get to show off, after all. No one can question it, you have abundant knowledge and capability from your travels, are eloquent with words, well acquainted with every contestant and can generally keep everything in euphony ; Nahida didn't even find any room for a contrary opinion as Alhaitham and Hat Guy brought these points forth (separately) so matter of factly. Having you there will just make this even a little (no, a lot) bearable for them, is all.

Faruzan is amused to a degree, ho, youngsters these can be so passionate! Though there slowly forms a concern for your future as she realizes that their efforts aren't just simple courting tactics. Layla's just... scared. She may or may not have accidentally looked through your constellation and it may or may not have traumatized her a little.

The fact that Kaveh wants to buy a place for himself with the prize money?? *chefs kiss* The architect has come to the realization that he needs to iron his backbone if he's to court you officially, he needs to show you that he can achieve way more than that insufferable cabbage (soon to not be) roommate of his. And when Kaveh is serious about something, you better know you're not going to have it easy anymore.

Tighnari is such a showoff in the first round, creating that butterfly show not only to catch potential students but to impress you knowing you have an affinity for pretty things. He didn't entirely lose in the second round either, as you rushed to take care of him, he savored all that attention more than the water he passed out without :/

Cyno is, well, ... Cyno. Don't get him wrong, he most definitely wants your praises and he does get them in the second round. On a side note, based on the Biryani factor joke he made I have a new headcannon that Cyno regularly tells you food puns — now whether you enjoy them is purely up to you :)

Though, things with him really get interesting in the final round as Wanderer takes him head on (or I'm assuming something similar since it's not out yet). Even the densest person can tell they're ready to tear each other limb from limb here, but honestly, who has the guts to stop these two? Not like you aren't mildly entertained by their duel either.

You're surprised when you heard that Wanderer was taking part, you recovered quickly though ; squeezing him affectionately like you usually do and even jokingly adding what else he was doing behind your back (not missing the way he tensed up). Whatever his true motives are, it's apparent he's determined to prove something to you. He's trying to better himself, alright. But old habits die hard, how can these mortals even compare to him? If he can (and he will) establish the fact that he's obviously the superior choice —to you only, of course as he doesn't give a crap about what others think— then taking that dent to his pride will be worth it.

Alhaitham is the saltiest version of himself throughout the whole event (Nilou's sweating bullets throughout the whole time). Most of the actual commentary is done by you and Nilou as he just occasionally quips in to add a snarky remark or to do announcements. Doesn't waste a breath fleeing from the venue when a round ends and even whisks you along with him. At one point though, he asks who you support the utmost among the participants (no, ‘everyone’ isn't an acceptable answer), purposefully when they're gathered together. You aren't dumb, you know that despite the tone in which he delivered it, this is the pinnacle of this competition for everyone. If he was just fanning the flames before, he's poured out an entire barrel of gasoline in it now.

Oh, we cannot forget the Traveller and Paimon who are actually doing their job just...deadpanning by the sidelines as everything unfolds :>

i start the performance and avoid all eye contact with matt, until..

the song goes on and certain parts make me break eye contact with him, scared to see his reaction.

it gets a little hazy, but suddenly matt shows up backstage and without saying anything, he kisses me.

all of my thoughts fade away as the only thing i'm focused on now is his lips.

"religions in my lips you said?" he says teasingly and i scoff

"shut up" i say with a laugh

"i love you matt, i'm sorry, for everything." i say and he smiles

"still worship this love" he says and i roll my eyes

a/n: this took 2 HOURS because of my lack of idea, but overall i think i'm happy with it, i love this song and it holds a very special place in my heart.

Back then I was young and inexperienced, I didn't even apply a gray filter (lmao I was so unskilled I even unintentionally scratched the picture, I hadn't realized until today). I'm actually very happy my first redraw was of Don, boy deserves all the love.

#2: Emma and Ray - Chapter 140: I’m Here!

Back then this looked like so much work to me!!! And to this day, I think it turned out pretty well. I'm particularly proud of how the bow turned out. This is one I was really proud of right after having finished it; it gave me the confidence to try redrawing bigger areas. Also, the edit were I first applied the opacity of layer / opacity of brush for the gray filter that would have stuck with me.

Probably the single panel redraw I'm the most proud of. That Norman panel was beautiful and very poignant at the end of a chapter I adored, so I believe it deserved all the time I've spent working on it. It's far from being perfect - the back of his head is too plain, and the difference between my brushes and the original brushes is pretty visible - but I still like it very much and am extremely attached to it. The horn looks kinda big but I honestly believe it to be more of an issue with the original than with what I had redrawn lol. Funny enough, the whole picture didn't make it to the final edit and had to be trimmed.

I'm particularly proud of the queen's redraws on the 3rd, 7th and 9th picture (ofc), the areas which have been redrawn are pretty huge yet I think the difference with the original is almost impossible to notice?? @Redrawing skills where did you go please come back (part 2)

#3: Emma - Chapter 174: A New World (part 1)

I think the panels that were selected work very well together, especially considering the close-up / full body alternation. I love Emma, and I've always been kinda sad noticing that edits that focus one her take the less notes... She deserves all the love. Also, fun fact: for the last but one panel, I had redrawn Emma's whole left ear before remembering she doesn't have one, so I had to redraw the panel from the start. Besides from the error with the ear, the reason why this (and all the others after) took so long is because official panel take way longer to clean.

#4: Isabella and her children - Chapter 177: Mother

Lmao tbh I can't understand how this has so few notes it's like. Technically speaking, probably the best edit I've ever done. I don't even like Isabella that much, I haven't got the slightlest idea why I decided to spend so many hours on this. Anyway, I find the composition (full body on the left / headshots on the right) really good looking in this as well! And I think the redraws turned out fine, especially Isabella's.

#5: The Promised Neverland manga ending countdown→ 1/7 chapters: chapter 1 - Grace Field House

Ray sweetie one day I'll fix your ear it's just today's not that day.

Btw, I justed realized I have never done an Emma / Norman centered edit? I'll have to make one eventually. I remember considering focusing on them alone for the chapter 154 one, but then I thought "even if the manga is gonna ignore Ray, I will chose to do not" lol.

A very long post about RBW and Mamamoo

If you follow Mamamoo news, recently eSNa, a former RBW artist who collaborated with Mamamoo on Aah Oop! shared her story and the mistreatment she received from RBW. She was taken out of her own project, the song she wrote and made and was basically pushed aside by the company because of a few negative comments. Here the link if you are interested:

RBW Entertainment was never considered a good company. Their mistreatment and complete underestimation of Mamamoo has been brought up so many times. The worst is their complete oblivion and ignorance towards hate comments and the constant harassment Mamamoo (especially Hwasa) receives on a daily. Never have they cleared rumors and false narratives, it was always on us. We can't silence all the hate. We can't clear all misunderstandings and we can't clear Mamamoo's name. They never used Mamamoo's full potential and half-assed their projects so many times and if it weren't for Mamamoo's insane charisma and talent, they wouldn't have made it this far. Yeah, RBW did "well" at the beginning but half of the time they didn't do shit. Constantly, their new projects are hijacked by antis and false narratives are spread. The recent one with Hwasa being disrespectful towards Nigerians was HUGE. And people till this day speak on it, even though it was cleared and explained. She was not wearing ANY African traditional clothing, yet people still trend Hwafricana or whatever and RBW still hasn't said A WORD. Wheein's recent collabs and solos haven't been promoted AT ALL (please show love to her new feature on Peakboy's Diet). She announced new songs she wrote in 2017 and we still haven't heard them. I get people defending RBW because they give Mamamoo space and creative freedom and I support that. However, with better management Mamamoo would have reached such immense success and it is mindboggling to me that someone actually questioned their potential. Mamamoo themselves are unsure and too humble if you ask me, but it's very understandable coming from a background where your boss calls you ugly and tells you to do better to compensate for it. I mean, they are wonderful human being and literally trend- setting artists in SK. In six years, no effort was made by RBW to help them get international recognition. Most of imoos found them by accident.

Even though they now try to appeal to international audiences, they do the bare minimum and it's mostly Mamamoo and moomoos who give 150% to compensate for RBW's lack of promotion and catering toward non-Korean speakers.

I am so sick of some bs they pull. I agree that some companies are way worse and none is perfect but RBW would be at the top with Bighit, only if they did a bit better. Thank God Mamamoo works with amazing producers like Park Woosang - show him some love here is his official channel:

He basically did 80% of the work with producing, filming and delivering Mamamoo solo and group activities. I mean, is my dude even paid enough for it?? I am really mad at RBW for slacking off so much. I don't want to attack all of the people there, because most work so hard and do their very best. But the managment, the public relations sector, the CEO? You are doing a very bad job guys, just saying it again if it wasn't clear enough. On top of that I have no trust in them that they are going to promote Mamamoo well after the new girl group Purple Kiss debuts. Especially if their debut is a success. (I still wish them the best ofc)

I am not quick to wish Mamamoo would change companies. I have witnessed it too many times where a group disbanded and continued with solo activities after their contracts ended. There are only few, if at all, instances where all members succeeded in those pursuits. I mean, take 2ne1. At one point they were the biggest girl group in the world, along with Girls generation. And now? Literally pushed away and abandoned by YG. Bom had such a hard time coming back. Minzy is still struggling. Dara barely does any music and CL independently released stuff that didn't do as well at it should have. And they were the very top. I hate to break it to you, but in SK you need a good company. Not everyone can pull an IU. I really do believe that Mamamoo members would all do well and still meet up but they couldn't continue as Mamamoo. Literally even if they just changed labels, they would lose rights to their name and songs they made. I only wish them the best and support what is best for them, but I, as any other moomoo, would be heartbroken. Not only that, but Mamamoo is now at the peak and they are going even further in their careers. Every CB is better. Honestly just thinking about award shows without Mamamoo makes me sad. I'd only watch it for BTS and Monsta X, but they also need to do militarily service. Girl groups have a good shot at having successful and long careers, but all this is just making me sad and frustrated.

I hope RBW does better. I hope Mamamoo is happy and healthy and I hope they do what they want. At the end, moomoos can only wish for an outcome that is truly best for the girls. Hopefully it is a bright future with Mamamoo, but we still have to wait and see
