Hi this If looks very interesting! I haven't played the demo yet but I'm very excited to! For now I was wondering if you had a post sharing what the ro's look like for My marriage to the cursed royal?

Quick edit addition because I forgot the first time: Thank you for your interest and for asking! :)

I don't have any images or anything because I'm a terrible artist, and if I tried to do anything they'd probably end up looking like the shrieks from DA:O.

Also none of this is 100% set yet, except Rune who has made their first appearance, I'm still in the middle of deciding the final designs but I'll list everyone out below the cut. I'll do a more polished post once I'm more confident of the appearances.

Lucius - Tall, lean with curly black haired human man with pale violet eyes. Wears his hair long as a matter of vanity. Facial scar but location still under debate. He tends to be practical about his fashion, if a little fussy about neatness when not serving in the military.

Lucia - Tall, lean black haired human woman with pale violet eyes. She wears her hair cropped short to around her ears because she prefers the practicality of it fitting easier in a helmet, she also treats it so it is wavy instead of curly. Facial scar but location is still under debate. Wears earrings even though they're a terrible idea and she's had them yanked out in a fight more than once (she's lucky that she has access to skilled healers) but is otherwise practical (though very neat) about her manner of dress.

(I'm probably going to give the Luxes a medium range skin tone. My original designs had them with "ice pale skin, appropriate for their magic" but I think I would rather give them something more appropriate for just how Greco-Roman the Nasennian empire's ended up. So medium a medium to dark though their undertones will still be cool.)

Rune - Average height, muscular individual who appears to be human. Short curly dark brown hair with blue eyes, skin tone is fair. (I think there's still a reference to them being purple in the demo but they should be blue.) Their appearance as an adult will have heavy scarring along their neck and shoulder and more on their face. Hates wearing anything formal.

Marcus - Tall human man with black coily hair that he wears in a variety of styles (I haven't chosen the one that he'll have when introduced yet) and dark brown skin with warm undertones. Amber colored eyes. He's keen on fashion and wears more jewelry than his elder siblings.

Rossella - Half-elf woman of average height with long brown* hair. She has a golden olive skin tone and dark brown eyes. Has a beauty mark below the left corner of her lips. Conventionally extremely attractive and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful women in the empire. She's careful to keep at the height of fashion when in public though her private preferences are much more relaxed. She never wears white because it's not practical as a healer and she rarely wears anything with sleeves because they get in the way when using her magic. *Her name is the Italian version of "Scarlet", as a result she's taken to claiming she has red hair and Lux and Marcus when they were younger helped her gaslight the entire court into being too confused to argue about it so she'll sometimes be referred to as red haired, especially by the princes or their people. She is not. It's a medium brown.

Caerwyn - Our ACTUAL red head. He has bright ginger colored hair and, probably, hazel eyes (not set in stone yet I keep changing their color). As a true vampire (versus a dhampir like some MC's and Halli) his eyes will sometimes change as a result of the predatory urge. Haven't quite settled on how I want to do that. He has very pale skin, with a faintly blue undertone. He's of average height and has a crooked nose from it being broken when he was young.

Robin Watcher - She's under construction because there's a plot element I'm fiddling with related to them. Haven't quite gotten it sorted out in my head yet. My original notes on her have her as blond, lots of freckles, curvy, and short with a habit of dressing like a stereotypical bard, bells and all. Those aren't reliable since I'm turning over several ideas at once regarding her. She'll probably end up demonblood - so black sclera - but that isn't settled yet either.

A quick little update~

I appreciate the asks I have the pictures ready for them I just have to get them done today (Dec. 14) this morning I have to go on a field trip with my oldest child and I forgot my sketchbook at home to take the pictures but being off today means I can at least do it this afternoon once I get home. (No guarantee but I do plan on trying)

Also the new DLC dropped just a few hours before midnight here where I'm for Pokemon scarlet and violet and I was wanting to finish my team up before I even started it. My Boyfriend couldn't find time to finish his Pokedex so he asked me to do it on my days off... which I tried. He still needs 35 more to finish the regular dex making it manageable for him to get the shiny charm (although with how many shiny he's already encountered I don't think he needs the charm 😆😂)

I'm still trying to get my bills caught up as I transferred to a new job that pays more ($11 per hour) and allows me to work the morning shift while my kids are in school. The past couple of days I've had to leave early due to boss's orders as labor was high but that's okay because they'll be times where I've tried to find myself to get busy and there be something that I can't do or they have enough people doing enough jobs, again I'm making $11 an hour I think I can afford to go home just an hour or so early from work to be able to be ready to get my children from school... That's more than I can say for my last job. Working at this job I have to wait at least two whole weeks before getting paid my first check so I'll have to get all my bills paid on the 20th but with the hours I've been working and showing the commitment that I can do what needs to be done it's actually a fairly simple job for $11 an hour, not the easiest job but I'm getting paid more for having to deal with everything and that's something~

I just wanted to update y'all as to why I haven't answered asks yet or have done anything else spectacular as of late... As I stated earlier right now I'm waiting to go on a field trip with my oldest child as per request of her teacher, my oldest child tends to be excited and forget to stick in line or stick with the group and rather than expect the teachers to do their best to keep in line with all the children I figured I would do my parental duty and come escort my child to behave herself on this field trip, as a parent SHOULD! (I'm not saying that everyone's a terrible parent for not escorting their kid or supervising them, but it just seems that you see more online parents neglecting their kids or expecting others to raise them... My mental state is "I had fun making the child, now I should take my responsibility in caring for the child" LOL there ARE good parents out there)

I'm not saying everyone can be a parent, if you choose not to have kids that is your choice and it is understandable that you are focusing on you at the moment or you feel like you are not parental material or you have fully decided not to have kids and that the world will still continue on without you having kids, it's definitely not the end of the world if you decide not to have kids. Children are a full-on responsibility that you have to be mentally physically and financially able to care for, they do not come with manuals, they do not come with all the mannerisms they are to have, they are like puppies you have to train them... I know this is like a whole big rant but if you've read all the way through this then I appreciate the time you took to read all of this or I'm happy to have at least killed some time for you since you're trying to waste time reading all this hobgobble 🤣 it's kind of obvious I'll sometimes go on a rant when I just want to simply put out there an update.

In any case if you've read this far I'm happy that you shared your time with me and or I was happy to kill some time for you, but as soon as I get back into the routine of working while my kids are in school and then enjoying the time in the afternoon with them while working on several projects everything will be hunky dory, hopefully with the New Year things can get into a routine and I can be able to get back on track~ the reason I say New Year is because the kids will be out of school for a couple of weeks and things are going to get hectic while I'm at work 😅

Here's what I got for Christmas for 2022.

I got Diary of a Wimpy Kid Diper Overlode, a Sonic Unleashed Suitcase if I were to put something in. I got an Isabelle muchi muchi pillow. Which I was gonna get a Tails one, but didn't have it. Speaking of Tails, I got a Tails Plushie and even got a Knuckles one as well since I have like a 2003 version of the Knuckles Plush from like Sonic X or something. I got two Pikachu Plushies that are summer themed since Summer is my favorite season. Like I got the one with the hat and the one with the blue hibiscuit, since I remember seeing the Pikachu Plushies like that at GameStop since I didn't know GameStop can sell merchandise like plushies and clothes and other misc stuff since it usually sells Video games. Cause I have been to GameStop for many years every time I want to go and buy a video game. And for video games, I got 3 Switch games and a PlayStation 4 and a PlayStation 5 game. For PlayStation 5, I got Destruction All-stars and for PlayStation 4, I got Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, since I do love Need for Speed a lot since it is my favorite Racing game I can play. But for Destruction All-stars however, I'll give the game a shot just depends if I have enough memory on my PlayStation 5 until I get a SSD Hard Drive that can get them all in. For Switch, I got Kirby Star Allies which I'll be playing until I get Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which would be bizarre if I had to get 2 Copies like one for me and one for my sister. Cause my sister does want to try that game out too. I got Pokemon Scarlet cause I know if some people have Pokemon Violet, I might play with others especially if I want to battle or trade. And avoid any of the glitchy parts until they decide to update the game. Next I got a Mario Party Superstars game which I have played Super Mario Party with other people including like my sisters played it and same for people online, which I should give it a shot with playing Mario Party Online since it isn't fun when playing multiplayer games by yourself. I got a Bluey cup like if I were getting a small drink like Hot Chocolate or something warm. And for Bluey in a Christmas special, what's confusing is that Bluey celebrates Christmas in the Summer. That's cause in the Summer Hemisphere like Brazil, Australia, New Zealand Etc. Bluey does come from the Country, Australia cause the seasons are a lot different compared to the Northern Hemisphere. I got a PlayStation 5 Controller in Red since I do enjoy some of the different colors of the controllers. And if my White Controller is low on Batteries, I can always charge it and use a different controller. And if they're both fully charged, I'm sure I can invite a friend over and play a 2 player game as well as for having either my brother or Sisters playing with me. I got some new Pure Bass Wireless Bluetooth Headphones like the JBL Brand, now I can still use some Noise Cancelling stuff so no sounds would ever bother me like if i were sleeping or wanting to listen to music while not being interrupted for anything not important. And finally, I got a Sonic Unleashed Suitcase like if I were going to put something in it like pencils or bookmarks and stuff. And I got some Sonic theme socks which are from the Sequel to the Live Action Sonic Movie even though I haven't seen it yet, which I should if I want to watch it on Hulu or Paramount+ I also got these Animal Crossing Amiibo Cards from Series 5, but they're so small that my mom said they still work. But I have to test them when I get the chance. And that's all the Presents I got for This year's Christmas. I hope everyone will have a Merry Christmas.

Pokemon Violet update

So it's been a few days since Violet and Scarlet came out, and a while after my first post, so here's an update to how I'm liking the game so far. Again, spoilers under the cut!

So, from having two or three gym badges and one titan pokemon down to now going onto the fifth gym, having two titan pokemon to go, and done one Team Star base a few things have changed.

While I still don't like how at first Arven just dumps the legendary on us like it was an unwanted dog when he could clearly see it was in some sort of condition, I must say I love his story now! I feel bad for his partner, and while the "upgrades" for Miraidon are nice, I'm now trying to go after the Titans to help him and his pokemon. I have had a lot of pets over the years, and so I know the pain and fear of seeing a companion being so weak and bleary eyed. It kind of reminds me of your rival in Black and White 2, with their Liepard/Purrloin being stolen, but it being more wholesome and fleshed out than just Oh they haven't seen each other in a while.

Nemona has grown more and more on me. Sure, characters like Hop and Hau encourage you, but the way Nemona cheers you on has a lot of charm in itself. She's not just "training" you to be her best rival or anything. She just really does want what's best for you, and getting to challenge you during gym courses is just a boon for her.

Now, again for the open world system. I have loved all of the previous games not just for the pokemon and story, but also the bits of lore that happens. Inside the towns there were buildings to explore, from hotels to other kinds of things for you and your pokemon. But for an open world game, since they were focusing on the wild areas more, I can understand not having as many buildings to just wander into. It would be interesting to see some more houses and such, but it's not that big of a deal to me because there is so much more to do outside that I'm not even thinking about stopping to see a random grandma and her pokemon rambling about tea or something.

The teachers of the school all are very fun characters in their own way. While we don't really need to take their classes, I decided to do so and it's really simple things you learn in the classes mostly, at least until midterms, I'm not sure about after yet. But then there's interactions you can have with them after classes. Like helping Mr. Suguaro not be pressured into having something he doesn't like, even if the kids didn't mean it that way, or seeing Ms. Dendra learning about something other than battling.

Another interesting feature I found was that daycares don't exist in the game anymore. Instead, you have to basically choose the two pokemon you want and have a picnic with them and the egg will appear in the basket. While it's an interesting (And kinda funny) concept, I myself like to build a living dex when the journey is done with and so having to stop and just fluff around for a while, hoping for an egg, it's kinda a downer for me.

And now, the Star bases. While i have only went against one so far, I can just imagine that the rest follow the same formula. It's an interesting way to include the new mechanic of auto battles, but what also got me was that, since I went after the Fire base first, the freaking car came alive?! Like I get that the pokemon is the engine, but it's still hilarious that you have to fight a "car" to win.

So overall, there's a mix of good and bad things, but that happens every generation. I'm not going to let that dampen my play of the game and I'll continue to have fun with it!

More thoughts on Scarlet and Violet before the DLC drops:

These are just minor thoughts I've wanted to get out while I anticipate the DLC and its content. Sorry if I haven't been posting much art by the way, life has just been pretty hectic recently with my new job and all.

I haven't bought SV yet, and I'm waiting for the DLC to come out to decide if I'll buy it.

As someone who really wants to use Kingambit on a playthrough team, I really hope there's underlevelled Bisharp in Kitakami. USUM and the Isle of Armour had lv30~ Bisharp, so I hope the same will happen in the Teal Mask, too. And catching one there around badge 3/4 would be much more ideal compared to levelling up a Pawniard to lv52, waiting until badge 7 to catch one of the Lv52 Bisharp in Paldea, or waiting til badge 6 to hunt for one in raids.

As someone who really wants a 3-segment Dudunsparce on my playthrough team as well, I hope there's decently-levelled Dudunsparce in the wild at Kitakami, too. That way I can catch one in the main game (Wild Dudunsparce are only in Area Zero so far), transfer Hyper Drill onto regular low-levelled Dunsparce, and start farming for a 3-segment!

I've heard that one of the reasons SV suffers from lag is because the game is trying to render too much of the world at once. Hopefully a patch that comes with the DLC might fix this, but even if it doesn't, I wonder if the Teal Mask DLC will even have these issues? Kitakami will probably be on a different "map" compared to Paldea and will probably be much smaller, making the lag much less frequent I think? Early reviews have praised Kitakami for looking surprisingly great, so I hope I'm right on this!

In SwSh, the wild area and Isle of Armour trainers had a weak sort of "level scaling". Which was that everything was Lv10-30 pre-Eternatus and Lv58-70 post Eternatus. But the teams themselves remained the same. So Klara's "early game" team included a Lv10 Venipede, but her "late game" team wasn't a Lv58 Scolipede- it was still a Lv58 Venipede. Which is why I waited til now to even consider getting SV.

Also in the Isle of Armour, you are given a mandatory Exp Charm early on that doubles all Exp gained in battle. I heard that this was frustrating for people who started the DLC early-game, since it completely overlevelled their team when returning to the main game. I totally get why that could be annoying, so I hope that if this charm does return in the Teal Mask, it'll be in an optional area.

And I do hope Ogre Oustin' gives lots of Tera Shards. It would be a really cool experience to freely change my team's Tera types through the campaign without having to do 5000 raids.

You are finally home for the night. It was a long day and you're exhausted. You wander up to the bedroom and strip off your work clothes, tossing them in the laundry basket. You grab your pajamas, a pair of jade colored jersey knit shorts and a black jersey knit tank top, and head to the master bathroom. You take a nice hot shower, dry off, and slip into your pajamas. You comb your hair and notice that the purple from your feeding was fading from your eyes and turning back to your usual jade color. Rose will lightheartedly pout about that. You smile and chuckle a little at the thought.Your wife isn't home yet so you decide to curl up on the couch with your Relaxation Herb and watch some Earth human animation. You stretch out with your new pillow behind your back and your new blanket over your lap. You turn on Rick & Morty and smoke your herb.

As the herb begins to work you feel that familiar relaxation in your body and the foggy floating feeling in your head. You're staring at your blanket and tracing the pattern of printed DNA strands. Your mind has been wandering back to THAT DAY over and over again lately. The nightmares had started again. You hadn't told Rose yet. If you had a moirail you could confide in them, but since you spend so much time at the Parent Caverns you tend to miss the opportunity to make those kinds of connections.

You theorize that the trauma is feeling fresh again due to your recently more often contact with HIM. I mean, he is your Gamzee's mate AND he is Gravid so you hear about him often and are even running into him more frequently. He does at least try to avoid you but that only works so well. The two of you never really worked through it. I mean, how do you work through your feelings about the man who killed you?

Your eyes are starting to glaze over, and before you know it you are sound asleep.

**You're here again. You can see Sollux and Feferi across the room on the horn pile Gamzee made. The Matriorb is next to your feet. You can't remember why you even set it down.You're confused. How did you get here? You look down at your red skirt and your black shirt with your sign on it. How are you wearing this? These clothes haven't fit you in years. You hear a new voice. You look up and see Eridan pulling Feferi aside. Your chest tightens. You want to run to her. You want to call her name. You can't. You're frozen. As you watch, their conversation becomes aggressive. Suddenly Eridan pulls out his wand and fires at Sollux, who flies across the room on impact. His body slams into the wall. Eridan fires again, this time at Feferi. She hits the floor, Fuschia blood pooling around her. You try to grab the Matriorb. You can't move. You can't run. Now Eridan's rage filled eyes turn to you, and he aims his wand again. In a blink the Matriorb is reduced to ash. You snap! Your rage boils over! Time for this violet monster to DIE! YOU GRAB YOUR CHAIN--...lipstick? You look at the small tube in your hand and blink. You see a bandage around your mid-section. It's saturated with your jade blood. You look up and see that Eridan, the beam from his wand, and everything around you was moving in super slow motion. The beam hasn't even hit you yet.

"This is not how this happened." You say.

You suddenly realize you're in a goddamn dream bubble.

Your chest is tight. Your heart is pounding. You don't want to go through this again. You CAN'T. Not even in a dream. You panic. All you can think to do is crouch down, wrap your arms around your head, and scream.

"NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"

.....

You're head is pounding. It takes you a few moments to realize that awful burnt smell and the sound of Eridan's voice had faded away. You smell...salt? The air feels cool on your skin. You realize your feet are bare. You slowly open your eyes. You're still crouched and your arms are still around your head, but you're back in your knit pajamas. There is sand under your feet. You hear waves crashing not far away. You focus on slowing your breathing. The pounding in your head is blocking out the sound of approaching footsteps.

The other being is standing just a few feet from you. Watching. When you realize it, you look up. The nightmare isn't over. Towering over you is Eridan-fucking-Ampora. You let out a startled yelp and fall on your butt in the sand as you scramble backward. Here you are, unarmed and in your pajamas. Vulnerable.

"WHY CAN'T YOU STAY OUT OF MY FUCKING HEAD ERIDAN?!" You scream at the troll......
