being a musician with gallagher as a father is having him show up to every concert, beaming with pride as the sound of your music fills the room. from the moment you told him you wanted to learn to play an instrument, he had nothing but support for your aspirations. strings, brass, woodwind, it didn’t matter what you picked, he buys you the finest instrument and books the best of instructors to teach you how to play. he is nothing short of thrilled to watch you perform, nudging the people beside him to let them know that is his kid!

Pulling half her body up against the poolside and resting her arms and head against the hot stone, Nina held out a hand, hovering it over Holden's tanned and toned thigh. Rivulets from her soaking hand dripped down onto his skin, hoping to discretely capture his attention as he lay out in the sun.

The wedding party had been camped out by the resort pool for most of the morning, with the majority scattered around the cabanas, lost in their own little worlds, enjoying the heat and the drinks. Nina, as usual, showed up late, her head pounding from downing one too many shots the night before, while the apex between her legs throbbed because of the man sitting next to her, with whom she had gotten very intimate the previous evening. She was a mess and hardly fit for the title of maid of honor to her best friend, yet here she was, playing it off like a pro.

"jayden!" he beamed, hurrying up to the other man, "it's so lovely to see you. gosh, it's cold. have you been here before?" @writtenwillow

this was beyond embarrassing. there hadn't even been a real audience, beyond sam and cj. yet the mere thought of the press corps staring at her as she stood at that podium and suddenly she was cradling her nose with a pile of tissues growing in the bin placed at her side. the door opens and her eyes shoot up, half expecting her father to be walking through instead she sees dwight and doesn't attempt to conceal the groan that leaves her. "please tell me they did not call you for a nosebleed."

sari had felt her chest tighten as she took everything in. she'd thought it was a lie, hoped it was a lie but now she was not so sure. she wanted to think that her ex had made it up, a stupid lie to get under her skin. but when they didn't deny it she felt the panic start to trickle just beneath her skin and she'd wanted the ground to open up and swallow her whole. now she stood in front of someone who she thought cared about her just as much as she cared for them, and her ex was telling her it was all a stupid game. There is a certain tension when Aphrodite finally appears on Olympus ; she hears that the summoning with the other gods did not go as expected and Zeus is furious because of it. Not that she cares about whatever angered the King of the Gods this time — the Goddess of Love has her own affairs and certain disputes to worry about, and unless she's the deity they need to resolve something in, everyone could go to the underworld and she wouldn't care ( there is only one Goddess she cares about right now and Aphrodite is going to see her right now ). A light knock on the door was heard and she entered the room of the Goddess of Wisdom. “ I heard the meeting was not . . . pleasant. ” Aphrodite said with a light, gentle, loving tone in her voice. “ What happened ? ”
