One of the things I love most in a RPG (Role-Playing Game) is the possibility of creating my own character with tons of different options and add-ons. I made a research yesterday and found some interesting PC Games I already knew about, adding them to the titles I have or plan to get with the best Character Customization. I’m going to list them here for you guys also attaching a few videos so that you can see directly how they work and what kind of possibilities they offer.

It’s the main reason I enjoy games like Skyrim and Fallout. But there seem to be so few good (single player) games with decent character creation - and not just picking from a few presets. The character creation in Dragon Age: inquisition was amazing (although I struggled to enjoy the game) as well as Saints Row (which I really enjoyed). I’ve been introduced to this type of creation with a game I still keep in my heart and consider one of the best of all times; The Sims 2. Seriously, I’ve created so many 3D characters that if I could win an award I’d have 200 on my shelf by now.

With that said, here you are my personal list of PC games with their awesome customization in no particular order:

I tried this game myself (the free beta that is) a few times in the past and I swear the CC included in it is currently one of my favorite. Without the complete pack I probably didn’t have a lot of additional options available in terms of clothes, makeup and hair, but what truly mesmerized me at the time was the shaping tool, not yet common in games when they released EVE. You can grab and drag different parts of the head and body, modeling unique characters every time.

2. Black Desert Online

This game has been released recently with two different packages and it seems to be quite a popular MMORPG (Massive(ly) Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) in Russia and Korea. I’m not surprised considering the quality this game seems to have and its customization is clearly no less. Just like EVE Online, Black Desert offers a good sculpt instrument to shape faces and bodies as much as you like, plus a beautiful variety of colors and combinations.

This patch lets you play Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks with mostly non-touch based controls. The new control bindings are Control Bindings: D-Pad=Run Y+Dpad=Walk B=Wide slash B+Dpad=Long slash Y+B=Spin Attack A=Interact A+Dpad=Roll. 3. Blade&Soul

This is another Asian MMORPG with the classical ‘Anime’ style, you cannot freely reshape the character’s structure, only pick one of the available presets and play around with the sliders to modify the whole body. Still, I honestly like the bright colors, the races/classes and the fact that you can actually recreate other existing characters using additional content (just like this guy did with Cloud from Final Fantasy VII).

4. BLESS Online

Yes, another Asian online title. Hey, it’s not my fault if they look so pretty! Bless is quite recent and not yet released in its final stage, but judging by how the CC works you have as much freedom as in EVE or Black Desert and the same unmistakable Fantasy touch.

5. The Sims 4

Didn’t I mention The Sims 2? Well, looks like the latest title in the series has improved quite a lot in this area. The shaping/sculpting method is here as well, considering that we finally have more possibilities I certainly won’t complain!

Note: In this video I can see the woman has a few mods installed. If you decide to get this game (or even the previous chapters) I definitely suggest you to do the same if you don’t like the default character design.

6. Fallout 4

Another recent (and quite famous) game. Apparently you can only work on the face here, but once again we see the sculpt tool in action. Even if the hair options are a bit limited you can still customize your character and create unique features playing around with your cursor.

7. Dragon Age: Inquisition

Who knows me is well aware of the fact that I am completely OBSESSED with this game, thus I couldn’t really leave it out. The hair options are definitely questionable and just like in Fallout 4 you do not have any body morph nor slider to alter, but as you can see from this video example you are still able to personalize your Inquisitor in a good way, also using real people or other characters as reference. To be honest I like some of the default presets too, if you don’t like spending two hours working on a face (I do that all the time, but I am a basket case so please ignore my madness :P), you can pick those and get a good result nonetheless.

And don’t forget about mods! 😉

8. Skyrim (The Elder Scrolls V)

This one has been around for a very long time and it remains probably the top 1 Fantasy game out there. If you’re not into mods at all and want to keep your game vanilla be sure that the overall quality is not as improved as the current generation, you can see that from the low-res hair and general textures. The reason why I’m including this CC in the list anyway is because even if old, Skyrim looks quite good compared to other games where you only get 3/4 slider options.

9. APB Reloaded

The last game I’d like to mention (and I literally just discovered it) is this not so new title which has a kick-ass Character Creator. Not only it shows some quality graphics there, but the level of customization is unbelievable! You can make hair shorter, beards longer, create beautiful tattoos (and place or rotate them wherever you want!), add patterns to clothes and even get your personal car! 😀

There are of course many other games with a Character Creator, but they all seem pretty similar or not good enough to be mentioned in my list.

Those late-night multiplayer sessions can be really fun sometimes. Surely, everything is better with friends, they say and you’ll agree with that at some point. However, after a long day of work and studying, I like to relax with offline games. Sometimes, it’s satisfying to let yourself indulge in a great single-player story and forget about any problems bothering you. So, if you are like me, then welcome to the club! Below is my list of 20 best offline games for PC and I hope you’ll enjoy them.

1. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

W2k16 pc download. Well, you’ve guessed it! The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt takes first place on the list with its epic setting, characters, gameplay, and those breathtaking visuals! It’s a compelling game that will offer you more than a hundred hours of non-filler gameplay, and there’s always something to explore. The game looks amazing, and the combat system is great. This open-world title is everything you need on your free days! Combine that with the great RPG elements and fun dialogues with NPCs, and you got yourself a pretty good offline game! Go and play it now, it’s a must-play.

2. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus

Wolfenstein series has been once again revived with Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. The positive reviews flashed all around the globe, and this game quickly became one of the best shooting games of 2017. B.J Blazkowicz is such a badass protagonist and the characters surrounding the game are interesting. You’ll quickly start to care about each and every one of them, making this game a worthy offline title. Bethesda said that they won’t be focusing on multiplayer, so they can bring an immersive single-player experience. Well, you nailed it, Bethesda; great job!

3. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Bethesda is one of my favorite companies when it comes to gaming, at least they were a few years back. A few years back, this masterpiece called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released and it took the Earth by storm! This offline open-world title offers hundreds of hours of exploration and you’ll probably never get bored of it! The combat system might be dated, but it’s damn fun to play and explore every corner of the game. After six years since its release, I’m still eager to give Skyrim another go. It’s that great!

4. Fallout 4

Games With Character Customization Pc

Fallout 4 is one of those top offline games that you either like or dislike. It’s a great single-player experience, as you explore a huge world of fictional city Commonwealth. I mean, the story here is scattered here and there, and our protagonist is in search of his abducted son. However, the game often steers away from that and let you have some freedom and exploration. It’s a fantastic reboot of the series, and it’s surely the best game in the franchise. If you are up for that Stalker-ish feeling, then give this a try!

5. Hitman (2016)

Hitman isn’t a strictly offline game, but I included it because it has a great single-player campaign. While the previous entry in the series Hitman: Absolution relied more on linear, claustrophobic, and confined experience, Hitman (2016) went in a different direction. Here, you’ll experience a vast, open-world with lots of stuff to do. The levels are not that numerous, but they are as big as hell! You can complete your missions in various ways and earn certain rewards and points for doing so. Hitman is a challenging stealth experience, but once Agent 47crawls under your skin, there’s no going back!

6. Nioh

Nioh is a less-known offline game released this year, and I feel like this game is very underrated. It’s a child of Dark Souls and Bloodborne series, which can tell you much about this game. It has a single, crushing, and unforgiving difficulty that will leave you begging for mercy. It’s hard, and you’ll need some blazing fast reflexes and huge gaming skills to finish it. There are more than twenty bosses in the game, and every single boss will kick your ass! Don’t expect to finish this game in a few days; you’ll need weeks to finish it and it will be painfully slow as the bosses shame you every little time… you helpless gamer!

7. Nier: Automata

Another underrated game – Nier: Automata. How could the gaming community overlook this game? Are you blind, or what? This game offers thirty hours of a pure, refined, and amazing experience! It’s a hack-and-slash title that mergers several genres with it. The open world in this game is huge, and the post-apocalyptic environment looks depressing and feels like a void. Nier also introduces RPG elements so you can now level yourself up, upgrade weapons, buy stuff, etc. On top of that, there are some 2D sections that feel like a great platformer, and that’ very unique! Nier: Automata is better than most AAA titles and costs double the less of that price, which is one more reason to get it.

8. Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls series got a fantastic reboot with Dark Souls 3. Just if it wasn’t enough for the previous games in the series, and now we got this punishing game. What can I say? Prepare to die a LOT in this game, as it’s created to kill you. I’m not joking, the whole game is against you, and you can’t do anything about that except fight like a lunatic. Even when you die, the enemies around you respawn and you must fight again and again, which is really frustrating. However, if you have the balls to play it, and manage to finish it, then you deserve a medal, Sir!

9. Bioshock Infinite

Bioshock Infinite is the newest installment in the Bioshock series. This cheap game can give you a huge value for your buck, especially when the Holidays come. I mean, for just a couple of bucks, you can get a fantastic FPS game, which campaign isn’t short and definitely isn’t boring! Bioshock Infinite continues its tradition with great shooting mechanics, various powerups, and that fast-paced shooting in a beautiful environment of the game. Get ready to cause mayhem!

10. Alien: Isolation

Alien: Isolation is that PC offline game that will haunt your dreams every time you try to sleep. It’s a horror game in which you try to stay in one piece and escape that damn space station called Sevastopol. Sounds similar? Well, that’s because the game is based on Alien (1979) movie, which was a very disturbing experience at the time. It’s an intense game that makes your palms sweat and your heart beating so fast that you’ll think it’s gonna come out of your chest! Try this horror if you dare, and watch yourself getting swallowed by the Alien, in a single bite!

11. Far Cry Primal

Elephants are cool, but mammoths are so badass! In Far Cry Primal, you can hunt mammoths and even ride them when you get to higher levels! How cool are you from zero to riding a mammoth? This beautiful-looking game is set 10,000 years BC and no, you aren’t going to shoot guns, but bash the hell out of your enemies. The arsenal of weapons might not be that huge, but the combat is great and requires more thinking, as the enemies are sometimes overwhelming and can easily kill you. If you have the luck to tame a sabertooth tiger, you may survive in this harsh world!

12. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

There is something special about that claustrophobic feeling, especially when it comes to horror games that you can play without internet. That sense of dread and despair when you don’t have much space to move is priceless. Don’t think of me as a psycho, but I LOVE the horror genre! RE7: Biohazard is a game that caught my attention as soon as it was released. This bad boy will provide you with a horrific experience that will leave you scared to death! As the game plays from the first-person perspective, it’s much easier to get yourself immersed, but also scared.

13. Outlast 2

Outlast 2 is yet another offline horror experience, where the developers decided to leave your powerless. There aren’t weapons for you to use, and surely no means to defend yourself. So, what are you left with? Well, a camera and a journal should do the trick! The game does a damn fine job of melding the horror and the dread with stealth and great storytelling. In the end, you may feel a little let down by the ending, but I know you’ll enjoy it until the very end.

14. Dead Space 3

Cat et 2015a factory password generator. While the past games in the series focused more on that horror experience, Dead Space 3 is more of an action-horror game. Sure, there are Necromorphs and they are vicious and all, but the action part is more prominent. Needless to say that Dead Space 3 is an amazing game and I’m very sad that Visceral Games is closed by EA in October. This survival horror game is hugely underrated, but it’s awesome and I recommend you to play it. It’s just a couple of bucks for this experience, don’t be a niggard!

15. Portal 2

There’s something awesome when it comes to Source Engine. The games made with this engine looks amazing, yet they run smoothly. How did Valve manage to do that? Well, as I am not a game developer, don’t ask me! But ask me about Portal 2, which is Valve’s magnum opus, and a compelling puzzle game. The whole point of the game is to use a Portal gun in order to create portals and pass through them. However, the game isn’t that simple and requires some brain skill to finish it. Grab your Portal Gun, and let’s go on a venture!

16. Limbo

This 2D game is straight-up terrifying, dark, and misanthropic from the start to finish! In Limbo, you are a little boy that needs to survive this colorless world of the game as he overcomes various obstacles and escape scary monsters. I like the game’s artwork and the atmosphere is simply top-notch here if you like the dark ambient in the games. It’s a must-play for every offline Indie games lover!

17. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Speaking of the atmosphere, very few great offline games can replicate the atmosphere as it is in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. That post-apocalyptic atmosphere of Pripyat looks great, and the game isn’t colorful, which is the whole point. Everything has that grey-ish tint, as this town suffered greatly when the Nuclear Powerplant in that area exploded. It’s based on a real-life event that occurred around 1989, which gives the game a certain weight and meaning.

18. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

With MGSV: The Phantom Pain, Hideo Kojima proved that he still has what it takes to create such immersive PC games without internet. This stealth game is challenging and full of stuff to do, due to its open-world nature. The characters are badass and the game feels somewhat dark, with a very serious tone. Oh, and not to forget that plot twist at the end that’s worth those thirty hours I’ve spent on this game!

19. SOMA

Horror fans will be pleased that I mentioned another horror title here. SOMA is an absolutely spooky and nerve-wracking experience! It creates that atmosphere that’s very unique, and with the story being told in the shape of various documents scattered through the game, it’s even more badass! You are all alone here and you’ll fight for your life, only to find out that you aren’t actually alive! A truly wonderful offline game for Windows.

20. Superhot

Superhot is a cartoonish-looking offline game that revolves around time. To make it simple, the time in the game moves when you move, so if you are standing still, nothing will happen. Vice Versa, if you are moving and shooting, then the enemies will do the same. It’s a lot of fun, but a lot of challenges too. I played it with some of my favorite death metal albums, just to ensure that I’m hardcore enough to beat it!

As we are approaching near the end of our journey through the offline PC games, I’m here to ask you a question. What is your favorite offline game for PC? I tried my best to count some of my favorite offline games, and although I’m maybe going to start a war for not including some of the games, I stand behind my words. It’s time for a vote!

Not the kind of vote that some might be thinking of, but the kind of vote to momentarily take you away from the issues of the real world for a moment.

I’m almost at a point where I want to actually get Thradra a house in Skyrim. Presently, I have four player homes installed and then of course there’s all the vanilla homes from Lakeview to Windstad to Breezehome to Proudspire. Admittedly, the home in Markarth would fit quite well as Thradra will be gathering Dwemer parts to craft some interesting items.

However, here are the different homes in no particular order. I’m going to leave out the Dwemer Storage Cube, because while that is a home it’s not one that followers or spouses or children can enter. But it’s a great thing to transport a crap ton of items from one place to the other.

Eventide cottage

Just outside of Dragon Bridge, this cottage overlooks the Imperial settlement. It comes complete with a small picnic area, an outdoor hot tub, storage for alchemy and enchanting supplies, a huge number of bookshelves as well as a master bedroom and a separate bedroom for either a follower or a child. There is a smithing and tanning area outside and a stable for a horse. Comes with a coupla goats and a cow! There’s even a huge garden. Just across the river from Dragon Bridge, this home has a good view of Solitude in the distance to the north east.

Harborside Home

Just outside of Solitude, this home is right at the East Empire Trading Company docks. One double bed, several places for books, a fully stocked enchanting table and alchemy table, there’s even a basement with two beds and a full smithing area. Have extra keys? This place has little additions for you to put away your keys, scrolls, notes, journals and so on. There isn’t even a load time as the home is a part of the main Skyrim map. Just open the door and you’re in!

Dev Arva Airship

It’s an airship! You can fly it! You can even “dismount” and walk around the deck of your airship when in flight. Can’t enter the ship when in flight, however. Inside, there’s one master bedroom, desk with little places for keys, scrolls, journals, a series of mannequins to display that leet armour your dragged off that nub you shanked ten levels ago, bookshelves, crafting areas, and a small galley. Just one bed! So, marry your follower, I guess. And don’t adopt kids. The ship is moored on the cliffface just outside the Blue Palace of Solitude, and you have to fight and kill the Thalmor crew in order to claim the ship as your own.

AHO Dwemer Airship

A spherical ship that lands at a platform when you place down the control cube. Once the ship has docked, it’s loading doors will open and inside you find all the basic amenities. The usual bookshelves can be found inside, along with a very well done alchemy area (even shelving to place all of the extra potions you gather) and enchanting table as well as storage for your soul gems. A pantry with two fridges (four storage shelves each) and four storage areas for food and drink as well as a drink crafting table. There’s even a huge bathing area! And a face changing station to change your character’s looks. The ship itself has five docking locations in Skyrim and one in Solstheim. The bed, sadly is only a single and there’s no other beds in the entire home. The first launching point for the home can be found at Deep Folk Crossing just north east of Markarth.

Cliffside Cottage

Finally on this list is a home I may download. It borders the regions of Whiterun, Windhelm and Riften. A massive interior, there’s enough bedroom space for six children, 2 to 5 followers and a master bedroom for player and spouse. Huge kitchen and living room areas with a basement for crafting and beds for followers, there’s lots of crafting stations outside as well. There’s even a small bathing room. Fully protected from dragon attacks in the cliffs overlooking the hotsprings south of Windhelm, this home even comes with a large garden.

Driftwood Cottage

Another mod I’ve been looking at, this one has versions available for all three DLC or for none. Or for whichever DLC you’d like. It has every crafting station, docks, stables, a khajiit merchant who lives in a tent, beds for you, spouse, and up to 9 followers (six kids and 3 followers if you pick the Hearthfire version), large garden for crops, every shrine and it’s on the northside of the lake from Lakeview Manor. Falkreath and Riverwood are a stones throw away.

I’m having a difficult time deciding because all of these homes make sense for one reason or another.

Thradra explores and collects Dwemer technology. Therefore the AHO Dwemer Airship fits really well. Downside; only one bed, no options for children or spouse or followers.

Thradra has a very pirate theme to her. Therefore, the Dev Arva airship is perfect for her. Downside, only one bed, no options for children or followers.

Thradra is a member of the Bard’s College in Solitude. Therefore, she has her pick of the Dev Arva ship, Eventide Cottage or the Harborside Cottage. I’ve gone over Dev Arva’s downside and Harborside does sorta match it. If you have one follower, maybe one child, and one spouse (which would be common unless you have the marriage mod To Have and To Hold... then you can have up to 11 spouses!) then Harborside is okay as it has a double bed and two beds in the basement. Eventide works, if you happen to marry your follower (and let’s face it, everyone lusts after Lydia... her in ability to block doors ways, cough and sniffle uncontrollably, rush heedlessly into battle before you have a strategy... ya know, all the things that make her sexy).

Thradra travels a lot between Windhelm, Riften and Whiterun. Therefore, the Cliffside Cottage would work! And as far as beds go, it’s probably the best if one wishes to adopt a child (like Lucia in Whiterun who has to sleep in a bar because she has no parents! Or Sofia is Windhelm who sleeps in an alleyway... this is in your fuckin’ city Ulfric Stormcloak! A nord child is homeless and living on the streets in your city and you do NOTHING to help her! Skyrim for the Nords my fat, dark elf ass!). Driftwood Cottage would work in this regard as well, as it isn’t that far from those areas, plus gives the bonus of Riverwood and Falkreath right there.

I suspect at some point I may start in one house, then get married and decide to move to another house. And for now, at least I have a follower who doesn’t require a bed.

Meet Snippy, the Dwemer Droid. Yes, I know who he’s based off of. He’s also made by the same people that built the AHO Dwemer Airship. There’s even a picture of Snippy in the main bedroom/office of the airship. He (I think, maybe Snippy’s a she, I don’t know) also has 128 verbal beeps that he makes, including screaming for his life as he runs away from combat.

He also just stands there when your character goes to bed. Could be awkward when you get married and you want sexy time with the spouse. He just stands there.

I suppose you could tell him to wait, but then you’d hear forelorn beeps and boops from another room, which can totally kill the mood.

But anyway, those are the houses. I am currently undecided as to which house I will move into and am open to votes from my followers. I’ll make it a couple days for votes as Thradra still has a bed in the Bard’s College and a few more errands to run before she’ll require a house of her own. Once the winning house has been decided, I’ll splash this tumblr with screenshots.

Hello Neighbor is probably one of the best games out there when it comes to teaching us about the potential dangers our neighbors pose.

It might not be healthy to always distrust those around you, but one can never be too certain than the person living next to you isn’t a serial killer. Or so I’ve heard.

Shia LeBeouf also learned this a few years ago with that weird Paranoia movie, and Hello Neighbor reminds us of the exact same thing.

If you’re here it’s likely that you’ve already completed the game. But don’t worry, there are still many more things to do in Hello Neighbor.

The game is really easy to mod, and I’ve compiled a list of the best mods that I managed to find for the game.

12. Hello Forest Mod

Apowermirror for pc full. Hello Forest provides a twist to the game by giving you a completely new adventure to explore and new dangers to overcome.

Basically, you won’t be directly interacting with your neighbor. But rather with a strange man that lives in a dark house on the forest.

You will need to venture into the forest and find the man’s house while you also complete puzzles inside.

Wait, that’s not all!

You also need to hide from the strange man. Who knows what his intentions are?

I sure as hell don’t want to find out!

11. Hello Neighbor: Other Story

This mod changes the house that you explore in the game and replaces it with the one that was included in the older versions of HN.

It comes with completely new scenarios and stories to help you get a new taste of the game we all love.

7. Hello Neighbor: The Mansion

This one is as cool as mods get.

It revamps the story of the game by replacing it with one with various endings.

The father of the protagonist (meaning your father) will be trapped in the neighbor’s house, where you will need to rescue him by completing a series of intricate puzzles.

Sounds fun.

Keep in mind that this mod aims to bring terror to the story of HN, which makes it creepier than the vanilla game. I think it’s a pretty good mod though.

6. Hello Neighbor Alpha 1 Remake

This game is a remake of the original Alpha HN title, but the creator of the mod made sure to import new assets to make it look more polished.

The game itself is also far better than it used to be in the alpha stages and the graphics speak for themselves.

5. House Designer

This cool mod allows you to design your own home by visiting the shop of a new stranger that just moved into town.

There is a new item shop where you’ll be able to get your hands on some new materials, items, and decorations that can spice up the way your place looks.

You can also finish new quests to earn more money, which will give you access to more decorations.

4. Dr Hello

Dr Hello is a pretty creepy mod that changes the theme of the game to turn your neighbor into a doctor that isn’t there to cure your mild case of a flu.

The doctor is there with a vengeance, and the creepy theme of the game gets even creepier when you install this mod.

I have to say that the new scenarios and maps created for Dr Hello are really great – both in terms of design as well as in terms of the graphics.

A fantastic mod indeed.

3. Hello Granny

Hello Granny is a remake of the traditional Granny game that was released in Android, but it uses the mechanics and assets of Hello Neighbor to turn it into a PC version of the game.

It looks really good and it’s super fun to play.

Besides, it gives you access to a completely new game. And it’s free!

2. HN: Project Prototype

The madman that created this mod attempted to recreate, successfully, the house that we saw at first in the HN trailer that came out a few years ago.

The new map and adventure is extremely cool and fun to play.

The only downside of this is that the mod is not complete at all, so you’ll only get to experience a part of this new story.

Who are you now? If you want to change your identity for a kid, which is under difficult life circumstances, than you can do it in Hello Neighbor Alpha 2 horror game. Here you are a small kid, who moves into an unknown district, which seems to be perfect with its quiet streets and nothing disturbs your mind at first. But then you notice your neighbor, and you start suspecting something. He seemed to be ordinary, though, strange a bit – he doesn’t like guests. Well, maybe he is just an introvert? This can be true, of course, but he goes to the basement, which contains some kind of a mystery, and this curios kid wants to know these secrets of a suspicious neighbor.

So, this boy wants to sneak into his neighbor’s house, though he has no clue on how he can do this. But the boy is brave, and he doesn’t care for obstacles, when it comes to the discoveries, when his dreams can come true. He can get to the basement, and the only way to do this is to get into the house. Your neighbor won’t let you do this easily, and whenever he spots you anywhere on his territory, he will be ready to fight for his safety, and set traps, which will make you lose your life again and again. This is because your neighbor’s got an AI, which means that he will become smarter and smarter every time you will make a mistake.

The graphics in the game is rather weird, but you will get used to it very quickly. Your neighbor knows the rules, which are in his house, but you aren’t aware about them, and this is why you will be making mistakes again and again. For instance, the house is full of various objects, which you may use during the game, but you have no idea how to use them, and here everything is enigmatic. Something very useful may be far from you, while something very complicated and not so cool is within your reach. Your neighbor is wandering about the house with no purpose, until he traces that someone entered his home, and he need to keep his privacy and dirty secrets.

You need to remember one very simple thing: it doesn’t matter how careful you are, you will be noticed, traced and punished for intrusion. To sum up, you will need more luck than actual gaming skills. Hello neighbor is a very tricky game, but when you will get to the basement, you will find the revelation, what you was looking for during the entire game. Will the answer satisfy you? Who knows, only the time will show you whether this journey wasn’t in vain, or you suspected someone innocent to be criminal. Play the game, and let the curtain fall!

But though I can't predict specific winners, I can offer a recipe for recognizing them. Oooh, I have a bad habit. I can’t do only one thing. I have to do several things at the same time, otherwise I get bored. Even at work I can’t concentrate, if I do only one thing.

OMG, ooh... I think... Pets. I really love animals. They are so cute and I miss them in the Sims.

In the sims I’d like to live in Windenburg. I like such old European cities.

Oh, yeah! I created all my friends and family. A couple of times the city was completely populated by my friends and friends and played. It's strange, but funny.

Haha... If I eat soy sauce, I get an allergy around my mouth. Small pimples like irritation. It was at the wedding of friends. In the evening before the wedding my mother cooked something with soy sauce, and I did not know about it. I had a slight allergy. I stood at the wedding with my friend, and not far away from us guys. One of them I liked. And... My friend looks at me and says loudly: "Yes, you shaved your mustache!" All the guys turned sharply and looked at me. I blushed and said, "What mustache? I'm allergic!" I still do not know why she said that. (I've never had a mustache.)

2. What would be your perfect day? Plan it out from breakfast to bedtime.

This day I would spend in nature with all my friends. Evening campfire with a guitar. On the sea or in the mountains.

The last time I cried from stress at work and studying, just could not stand it. And the man because of whom I cried for the last time is my ex-bf.

For someone like Nalu living in Kauai HI, throwing good aftermarket/replacement parts at your ride is a bit more challenging than most of us have to experience. Remote access + a low population + a high cost of living requires creativity & finesse. Yeah – there’s definitely a lot of siiiiiiick Tacomas roaming the Hawaiian Islands, and lifted small-body trucks are 100% a lifestyle out there. But getting parts shipped around inter-island is kind of a pain in the ass, plus it’s another added expense. So if you want to build something truly hauss out there, you HAVE to get that much more passionate about it. At the same time, you’ve gotta learn to stay patient, flexible, and open-minded. And – it helps to have some trained mechanical/fab/paint skills. Well between Nalu & his brother Golden, they’ got the skillsets covered… they literally have their college degrees in this stuff. And it doesn’t hurt that back in the 80’s, Toyota was building trucks that could outlast the end of days lol.

High mileage ain’t the killer in Hawaii, but the elements are. That salt-air wears on ‘em hard. But Toyota struck on something so right with these 80’s/90’s pickups. Simplicity + durability… that’s the formula. These trucks can handle anything you throw at ‘em. Plus – they were built so practically, that anyone with basic tools and a fridge full of Heine could learn the entire machine in a weekend. Seeing these island-built trucks re-calibrates us to the fact that: If you slow your pace-of-life down just a little damn bit, you really don’t need all the modern beef that a new truck boasts… to get through the mud & sand in life. You don’t need it. There is comfort in simplicity.

Ok so let’s get to the build…

In 1984, Toyota Pickups were carbureted with a straight axles front & rear. In ’85, they went to fuel injection (still straight axle). And for ’86-on, they made the switch to independent front suspension. And while Independent Front Suspension (IFS) makes for better handling at higher speeds on paved roads… it’s not as capable or flexy off-road. So 1984 & 1985 are kind of the sought-after years to have if you can find one. And a lot of people with later models will just swap to a solid front axle if they get serious.

Nalu’s truck is an ’85, but it’s got the 81-84 Toyota 22R carbureted engine with an earlier 20R head for higher compression (since it’s got a smaller chamber) & hot cam.

Nalu’s got Trail Creeper dual transfer cases with 2.28/4.70 reduction. So sick! The two transfer cases give you a ton of low range for churning, climbing, & crawling. Basically – you get a 2wd-hi, 2wd-lo, 4wd-hi, 4wd-lo, and 4wd-lo-lo. We were rolling 5th gear at 6mph! Plus in the cab, you’ve got 3 shifters!

The FRONT axle has been rebuilt & trussed. And the REAR axle is from a later model 89-94 V6 Taco/4Runner. (Note: people will often call the 86-on trucks “IFS trucks” simply because they had Independent Front Suspension. But that can get a little confusing… because you might hear someone say “they put an IFS axle on the rear of their 85”. You’re scratching your head, thinking they put independent front suspension on the BACK of the truck?!?? But it has nothing to do with the actual “independent front suspension”. What it means is: The ISF trucks had a WIDER rear end, so they took that wider rear end, and put it on their older-body truck. Now you’re even more confused huh?)

Nalu upgraded front hubs from a later-model IFS truck, which allowed him to run the later-model, larger brake system.

For the FRONT suspension Nalu did the 3-pack ‘Rears Up Front’ leaf springs from an 89-94 pickup. Which is pretty much just as it sounds… where you take the leaf springs out of the rear of an 89-94 (IFS)… and stick them in the front of your ’85. Nalu mixed those OEM leafs with some All-Pro leafs, for a 7-pack total. In the REAR, he’s using Trail Gear 5in leafs, with the 3rd-to-bottom leaf pulled out. On top of that, he’s got a 2-inch body lift with a custom-made steering shaft extension… and a u-bolt flip-kit all around for that extra ground clearance (and to keep the u-bolt threads away from rocks).

Nalu & Golden triangle’d the positioning of the rear shocks… so that they move inline with the rear axle as it flares over obstacles. And they made the front & rear bumpers. Pretty neat!

The truck has happily taken everything Nalu’s thrown at it – just as Toyota intended. It’s been laid on its side, drug through the mud, wrung-out in the Pacific… and pulled many-a rental Jeeps outta Polihale. It also gets him to work everyday… 40 minutes each way… ironically at Nissan. 40 minutes on Kauai is a big-ass commute! But I guess not toooo crazy now… they’re only rolling about 35mph.

Nalu’s Pickup made its way into the family through his brother, Golden, who had been living in Idaho. When Golden came back home, he brought the Pickup with him. Shortly after, Nalu and Golden traded trucks. With a Pro Comp lift, body work, and primer already on the truck, Nalu wanted to throw more mods at it… but had to do so through a number of unorthodox ways. Using other manufacturer’s parts, like Chevy, replacing front suspension parts with rear suspension parts, or fabricating pieces in house, like the custom tube front stinger… these are all solutions and adaptations to the world Nalu lives in. He works with what’s he’s got. As far as he may be, I feel we we can all relate to that in some way.

Do you want to know what 5G is going to look like? Qualcomm just went all-in on the next-generation wireless technology will look like next year.

The maker of mobile chips, best known for the powerful processors that serve as the brains of high-profile smartphones like the Google Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9, this week is holding its annual Snapdragon Tech Summit in Maui. Qualcomm showed off a prototype phone capable of tapping into 5G networks. AT&T and Verizon have set up “live networks” in the hotel where the event is being held to show off their capability.

“A lot of the work went into getting the 5G to show on this phone,” Qualcomm President Cristiano Amon said during the keynote.

Samsung, meanwhile, also has a reference device capable of tapping into 5G that it will be showing at the summit.

Samsung and Verizon already said they’ll launch a 5G smartphone in the first half of next year. AT&T and Sprint too. Already this year, Verizon has launched a variant of 5G as a home internet service, and in early 2019 it plans to begin a standards-based mobile service.

All of this equates to 5G going from years of hype — ever since Verizon talked about moving into this area three years ago — to actually becoming reality. Beyond a big speed boost, 5G has been referred to as a foundational tech that will supercharge areas like self-driving cars, virtual and augmented reality, and telemedicine services such as remote surgery.

But what exactly is 5G? Why are people so excited? The following is a breakdown of why the next generation of wireless technology is more than just a boost in speed, and why you should be excited.

What is 5G?

It’s the next (fifth) generation of cellular technology, which promises to greatly enhance the speed, coverage and responsiveness of wireless networks. How fast are we talking? Think 10 to 100 times speedier than your typical cellular connection, and even faster than anything you can get with a physical fiber-optic cable going into your house. (In optimal conditions, you’ll be able to download a season’s worth of “Stranger Things” in seconds.)

Is it just about speed?

No! One of the key benefits is something called low latency. You’ll hear this term a lot. Latency is the response time between when you click on a link or start streaming a video on your phone, sending the request up to the network, and when the network responds and gives you the website or starts playing your video.

That lag time can last around 20 milliseconds with current networks. It doesn’t seem like much, but with 5G, that latency gets reduced to as little as 1 millisecond, or about the time it takes for a flash in a normal camera to finish.

That responsiveness is critical for things like playing an intense video game in virtual reality or for a surgeon in New York to control a pair of robotic arms performing a procedure in San Francisco, though latency will still be affected by the ultimate range of the connection. The virtually lag-free connection means self-driving cars have a way to communicate with each other in real time — assuming there’s enough 5G coverage to connect those vehicles.

How does it work?

5G initially used super high-frequency spectrum, which has shorter range but higher capacity, to deliver a massive pipe for online access. But given the range and interference issues, the carriers are starting to explore lower-frequency spectrum — the type used in today’s networks — to help ferry 5G across greater distances and through walls and other obstructions.

The result is that the insane speeds companies first promised won’t always be there, but they’ll still represent a big boost from what we get today with 4G LTE.

Where do these carriers get the spectrum?

Some of these carriers already control small swaths of high-frequency radio airwaves, but many will have to purchase more from the government. The Federal Communications Commission is holding an auction for so-called millimeter wave spectrum, which all of the carriers are participating in.

Are there other benefits?

The 5G network is designed to connect a far greater number of devices than a traditional cellular network. That internet of things trend you keep hearing about? 5G can power multiple devices around you, whether it’s a dog collar or a refrigerator.

The 5G network was also specifically built to handle equipment used by businesses, such as farm equipment or ATMs. Beyond speed, it’s also designed to work differently on connected products that don’t need a constant connection, like a sensor for fertilizer. Those kinds of low-power scanners are intended to work on the same battery for 10 years and still be able to periodically send over data.

Sounds great, but when does 5G get here?

Verizon launched the first “5G” service in the world in October, but it’s a bit of a technicality.

The service isn’t mobile service, but a fixed broadband replacement. An installer will need to put in special equipment that can pick up the 5G signals and turn it into a Wi-Fi connection in the home so your other devices can access it.

There’s also some debate about whether the service even qualifies for 5G — it doesn’t use the standards that the industry has agreed upon. The company wanted to jump out ahead, and used its own proprietary technology. Verizon argues that the speeds, which range from 300 megabits per second to 1 gigabit per second, qualify the service for 5G designation. Its rivals and other mobile experts dispute that claim.

The launch is extremely limited in select neighborhoods in Los Angeles; Sacramento, California; Indianapolis; and Dallas. (Let us know if you’re one of the lucky few who get it.)

OK, but what about mobile 5G?

Verizon says it’ll launch its mobile 5G next year. AT&T is looking like the first company to launch a true mobile 5G service. It plans to launch 5G this year in 12 markets. Last month, it successfully tested a mobile 5G connection in Waco, Texas, using what should be the first consumer 5G device, a wireless hotspot built by Netgear.

Like the Verizon deployment, expect the rollout of 5G in these cities to be extremely limited.

AT&T said it plans to launch in 19 cities next year, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

No 5G phones? Can’t I just pick up 5G with my existing smartphone?

Sorry, no. 5G technology requires a specific set of antennas that aren’t available yet. Sprint says it plans to release the first US 5G smartphone next year, which will be built by LG. It’s also working on a 5G “smart hub” with HTC, but as with all of the 5G news so far, they’ve been light on details such as features, specifications, price or availability.

Many of the phones will use Qualcomm’s X50 modem, which is designed specifically to tap into 5G spectrum.

Generally, 5G smartphones are expected to come out in the first half of next year. Rumors point to Samsung being among the first to build a 5G smartphone. The company is reportedly to put 5G in a version of its Galaxy S10. Samsung mobile CEO DJ Koh, however, teased of a specific 5G phone to launch ahead of its flagship.

OnePlus has also claimed that it’ll be among the first to have 5G in a phone as well, but that device won’t be coming to the US.

Anything I should worry about?

High-frequency spectrum is the key to that massive pickup in capacity and speed, but there are drawbacks. The range isn’t great, especially when you have obstructions like trees or buildings. As a result, carriers will have to deploy a lot more small cellular radios, creatively named small cells, around any areas that get a 5G signal.

That’s going to annoy anyone who doesn’t want cellular radios near them. With concerns over potential health risks, as well as the possibility some people will see them as neighborhood eyesores, there may be some objections to these things.

Carriers using low-frequency bands may get away with fewer cellular radios, but 5G will almost certainly require companies to further build out their networks.

How broadly will 5G be available in 2019?

Here’s the other concern — 5G might still be a theoretical possibility for a lot of people.

T-Mobile says it’s launching in 30 cities next year, while Sprint will launch in nine cities. AT&T is launching in a dozen markets this year and 19 next year, and Verizon aims to launch next year too, but it’s unclear how wide the coverage will be. Globally, China, Japan and South Korea are racing to build out their 5G networks, with Europe behind as it takes the slow and steady approach.

So don’t feel like you need to rush out to buy that first 5G smartphone. Chances are, service won’t be widely available until 2020 or beyond.

Also, while some see 5G helping to improve coverage everyone, rural areas will likely miss out for a while since it lacks the infrastructure to support all of those cell radios.

Will it cost more?

That’s unclear. Indications are the carriers won’t likely charge any more, although then-Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure said in March that he saw 5G as a premium service. New CEO Michel Combes declined to comment on pricing.

You’ll remember that LTE didn’t cost anymore when it first came out — you just needed to buy a new phone. But pricing models could change over time. Since 4G launched, the carriers both took away unlimited plans and brought them back.

Verizon’s home broadband service costs $50 for wireless subscribers, and $70 for everyone else. Those are in line with other broadband costs. (You can find out if you’re eligible for the service here.)

5G NR

The 5G bit is pretty obvious, but the NR stands for New Radio. You don’t have to know a lot about this beyond the fact that it’s the name of the standard that the entire wireless industry is rallying behind, and it just came out in December.

That’s important because it means everyone is on the same page when it comes to their mobile 5G networks. Carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile are following 5G NR as they build their networks. But Verizon, which began testing 5G as a broadband replacement service before the standard was approved, isn’t using the standard — yet. The company says it’ll eventually adopt 5G NR for its broadband service, and intends to use NR for its 5G mobile network.

Millimeter wave

All cellular networks use airwaves to ferry data over the air, with standard networks using spectrum in lower frequency bands like 700 megahertz. Generally, the higher the band or frequency, the higher the speed you can achieve. The consequence of higher frequency, however, is shorter range.

To achieve those crazy-high 5G speeds, you need really, really high frequency spectrum. The millimeter wave range falls between 24 gigahertz and 100 gigahertz.

The problem with super-high-frequency spectrum, besides the short range, is it’s pretty finicky — a leaf blows the wrong way and you get interference. Forget about obstacles like walls. Companies like Verizon are working on using software and broadcasting tricks to get around these problems and ensure stable connections.

Small cell

Traditional cellular coverage typically stems from gigantic towers littered with different radios and antennas. Those antennas are able to broadcast signals at a great distance, so you don’t need a lot of them. Small cells are the opposite — backpack-size radios can be hung up on street lamps, poles rooftops or other areas. They can only broadcast a 5G signal at a short range, so the idea is to have a large number of them in a densely packed network.

Some cities have this kind of dense network in place, but if you go outside of the metro area, that’s where small cells become more of a challenge.

Sub-6GHz

Given how troublesome really high-band spectrum can be (see the “millimeter wave” section above), there’s a movement to embrace spectrum at a much lower frequency, or anything lower than 6GHz. The additional benefit is that carriers can use spectrum they already own to get going on 5G networks. T-Mobile, for instance, has a swath of 600MHz spectrum it plans to use to power its 5G deployment. Prior to sub-6GHz, that would’ve been impossible.

That’s why you’re seeing more carriers embrace lower-frequency spectrum.

But lower-frequency spectrum has the opposite problem: While it reaches great distances, it doesn’t have the same speed and capacity as millimeter wave spectrum.

The ideal down the line will be for carriers to use a blend of the two.

Gigabit LTE

You’re hearing more about Gigabit LTE as a precursor to 5G. Ultimately it’s about much higher speeds on the existing LTE network. But the work going toward building a Gigabit LTE network provides the foundation for 5G.

MIMO

An abbreviation of “multiple input, multiple output.” Basically, it’s the idea of shoving more antennas into our phones and on cellular towers. And you can always have more antennas. They feed into the faster Gigabit LTE network, and companies are deploying what’s known as 4×4 MIMO, in which four antennas are installed in a phone.

Carrier aggregation

Wireless carriers can take different bands of radio frequencies and bind them together so phones like the Samsung Galaxy S8 can pick and choose the speediest and least congested one available. Think of it as a three-lane highway so cars can weave in and out depending on which lane has less traffic.

QAM

This is a term that’s so highly technical, I don’t even bother to explain the nuance. It stands for quadrature amplitude modulation. See? Don’t even worry about it.

What you need to know is that it allows traffic to move quickly in a different way than carrier aggregation or MIMO. Remember that highway analogy? Well, with 256 QAM, you’ll have big tractor trailers carrying data instead of tiny cars. MIMO, carrier aggregation and QAM are already going into 4G networks, but play an important role in 5G too.

Beam forming

This is a way to direct 5G signals in a specific direction, potentially giving you your own specific connection. Verizon has been using beam forming for millimeter wave spectrum, getting around obstructions like walls or trees.

Unlicensed spectrum

Cellular networks all rely on what’s known as licensed spectrum, which they own and purchased from the government.

But the move to 5G comes with the recognition that there just isn’t enough spectrum when it comes to maintaining wide coverage. So the carriers are moving to unlicensed spectrum, similar to the kind of free airwaves that our Wi-Fi networks ride on.

Network slicing

This is the ability to carve out individual slivers of spectrum to offer specific devices the kind of connection they need. For instance, the same cellular tower can offer a lower-power, slower connection to a sensor for a connected water meter in your home, while at the same time offering a faster, lower-latency connection to a self-driving car that’s navigating in real time.

Do you want to know what 5G wireless technology is going to look like? Qualcomm might be a good company to ask.

The maker of mobile chips, best known for the powerful processors that serve as the brains of high-profile smartphones like the Google Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9, this week is holding its annual Snapdragon Tech Summit in Maui. Given Qualcomm’s role in propelling the 5G ecosystem into reality, the event offers one of best opportunities to see what the rollout of 5G will actually look like.

The three-day event kicks off Tuesday, and that first day is solely dedicated to 5G news. (Given the name of the event, it’s inevitable that you’ll hear the latest Snapdragon chip news later at the event.) Qualcomm is expected to set up live 5G networks and allow reference devices to run on them so people can experience what the hype is all about.

Expect to hear from the chip giant and partners like Samsung and Verizon, which have said they’ll launch a 5G smartphone in the first half of next year. Already this year, Verizon has launched a variant of 5G as a home internet service, and in early 2019 it plans to begin a standards-based mobile service.

Ever since Verizon said it’d be the first major telecom company to deploy 5G field tests three years ago, the hype for the technology has been building. Beyond a big speed boost, 5G has been referred to as a foundational tech that will supercharge areas like self-driving cars, virtual and augmented reality, and telemedicine services such as remote surgery.

But what exactly is 5G? Why are people so excited? The following is a breakdown of why the next generation of wireless technology is more than just a boost in speed, and why you should be excited.

The result is that the insane speeds companies first promised won’t always be there, but they’ll still represent a big boost from what we get today with 4G LTE.

Sounds great, but when does 5G get here?

Verizon launched the first “5G” service in the world in October, but it’s a bit of a technicality.

The launch is extremely limited in select neighborhoods in Los Angeles; Sacramento, California; Indianapolis; and Dallas. (Let us know if you’re one of the lucky few who get it.)

OK, but what about mobile 5G?

Like the Verizon deployment, expect the rollout of 5G in these cities to be extremely limited.

AT&T said it plans to launch in 19 cities next year, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

No 5G phones? Can’t I just pick up 5G with my existing smartphone?

Many of the phones will use Qualcomm’s X50 modem, which is designed specifically to tap into 5G spectrum.

OnePlus has also claimed that it’ll be among the first to have 5G in a phone as well, but that device won’t be coming to the US.

Anything I should worry about?

Carriers using low-frequency bands may get away with fewer cellular radios, but 5G will almost certainly require companies to further build out their networks.

How broadly will 5G be available in 2019?

Here’s the other concern — 5G might still be a theoretical possibility for a lot of people.

So don’t feel like you need to rush out to buy that first 5G smartphone. Chances are, service won’t be widely available until 2020 or beyond.

Also, while some see 5G helping to improve coverage everyone, rural areas will likely miss out for a while since it lacks the infrastructure to support all of those cell radios.

To achieve those crazy-high 5G speeds, you need really, really high frequency spectrum. The millimeter wave range falls between 24 gigahertz and 100 gigahertz.

Small cell

Some cities have this kind of dense network in place, but if you go outside of the metro area, that’s where small cells become more of a challenge.

Sub-6GHz

That’s why you’re seeing more carriers embrace lower-frequency spectrum.

But lower-frequency spectrum has the opposite problem: While it reaches great distances, it doesn’t have the same speed and capacity as millimeter wave spectrum.

The ideal down the line will be for carriers to use a blend of the two.
