Remind me I was thinking about a Bowuigi starcrossed lovers unhealthy at times but ultimately happy ending with good communication story.

1. Bowser is enemies of the Mushroom Kingdom and Mario, therefore enemies of Luigi.

2. Bowser kidnaps Luigi during a fight. It is a spontaneous decision to piss of Mario and one he regretted IMMEDIATELY because what the fuck is he supposed to do with this guy?? Kill him?? He does NOT want to have the war between his kingdom and the Mushroom kingdom to end up his children's problem when they grow up, and killing Luigi would make it too personal and the fight would go on for generations. Not to mention, the risk that Mario would try and hurt him back by hurting his family. Motherfucker, he DID NOT think this through.

3. Bowser decides that the best thing to do would be to keep Luigi close until he figures it out. So Luigi is just. Staying in his room.

4. Luigi is terrified of course after being kidnapped. And he does hate Bowser. No amount of Bowser being literally his type changes that! And he refuses to have any weird feelings about sharing a room with him! He is a prisoner after all. It does not matter if Bowser personally tended to his wounds, after all Bowser inflicted them. And Bowser made sure the mattress he was given was comfortable and that he had enough blankets, nice clothes, water in case he got thirsty in the night. He was chained up, none of that mattered.

5. Anyway, forced proximity means they get close. They fall in love. One particularly cold night they share a bed. Luigi is there for like a month, they both fall hard and fast. By the end of it, they're both sort of pretending that Luigi is not kidnapped and they can stay in this happy bubble together.

6. Mario rescues Luigi.

7. The war is still ongoing, so Luigi and Bowser fight again and again.

8. They end up meeting in secret and dating.

9. They still have to fight each other, hence the unhealthiness. Not to mention, it is a MAJOR point of conflict where they each feel like the other is harming their people.

10. Idk man, I'm tired. I mostly got to the idea of them fighting and every time they fight they are so mad at each other. Especially because of how close Mario and Luigi are, whenever Bowser and Mario go toe-to-toe it really enrages Luigi. Bowser says he loves him and knows how much it hurts him, and yet there he goes hurting his brother. So then he defends his brother, directly fighting with Bowser. Now Bowser is angry because sure, he understands that Luigi has to stand with his own people, but that does not mean that he has to fight him directly. Why would he attack him? Why would Luigi hurt him? Why would Luigi make Bowser hurt him? Anyway I can just imagine like Bowser grabbing Luigi and flinging him like a ragdoll. Like in the movie, if you saw that scene. And Luigi just lays on the ground looking up at Bowser. Bowser looks at him. They love each other so much, and yet look at them. They love each other too much to truly hate each other, even if they're mad, so they just hate themselves.

11. Things get good they live happily ever after.

Technically she waited until nightfall so no one would notice a pink woman with wings that strictly wore leaves and petals as clothing

Obviously she didn't directly contact to him and speak, but did start to make the lavender grow where he was to hopefully lull him to into a deep slumber

When he woke he was in an unfamiliar den filled with filled with bright beautiful flowers and mushrooms

"Oh good , you're awake" the abductress said in a silky smooth angelic voice

As he turned his head to where the voice came from , his eyes met with the most beautiful creature he's ever seen : long flowing hair, the perfect shade of pink skin, the most incredible wings that looked like an intricate stained glass window, and clothes made from leaves and petals

It was more a show less of a tell as she looked at him with such hunger and desire in her eyes as she flew over to him

Soon all of these fairest , pixies , and a galore of mythical creatures started to enter the den and just go about their day, not without questioning who this new creature was doing on the floor first
