yes thats a valid reason to relish hurt/comfort and whumppp. to me hurt is a form or a product of conflict and i Love conflict, conflict is what i am so drawn to in everything i consume. pain is seasoning, suffering is spice, misery is the salt of life, and so if such hurt is intelligently put together and served, the narrative can be so JUICY. of course sometimes when the chef is bad and unaware, pain can feel so fucking cheap. hurt for the sake of hurt and lacks the depth of flavor and can taste so bad. for the record im speaking from the standpoint of fanfiction. but it can be beyond that. where am i going with this. idk. i guess i just like talking about whump lol

like clearly im a sadist. i like hurt/comfort because i like seeing pain. lol. hfhfjskhfk. its like i enjoy how hurt can expose a character. but also this is my favorite way to explore character bc im very clearly a sadist hfbshfjdnmsk.
