That boy is so surrounded by love and support it makes me SICK
#mainly with envy i love the connections and friendships he builds up over the course of the show#everyone (minus like maybe a couple claw people) loves him and i think its just so wonderful that hes surrounded himself with all of this#even if he didnt ever mean to and he was just trying ro be nice#nicest boy in existance i think#im talkiing about mob btw#i feel like thats obvious but yk#even when tsubomi was like. “hey no i dont feel the same way sorry” she still wanted to be friends and build a connection with him#SPEAKING OF WHICH#i love how this show subverts normal expectations and shows mob deals with rejection#instead of him “getting the girl” like they usually have show protagonists do#and i love how he handles it and he cries but he still stays friends with tsubomi and he has all his friends and romantic relationships#arent the only kind of love he has in the show#i love shows that tackle rejection in general#i think its an important thing for shows to do because we already have so many where the characters do end up togetehr#why not show rejection and healthy ways to deal with it and show that it is ok to get rejected and the world doesnt end and you keep living#and you can even develop a platonic relationship with that person instead because platonic love is just as important

I had a whole rant about this yesterday but I have to say it again, I love how mp100 tackles rejection. I love how it subverts normal expectations and shows how mob deals with it instead of him just "getting the girl" like a lot of shows end with. I love how he handles it and he cries but he stays friends with Tsubomi and he finally deals with his emotions and he gets over her in a healthy way and he has all of his other friends and romantic relationships aren't the only thing. I love shows that tackle rejection in general. I think it's an important thing for media to do, especially since we have so many where the love interest DOES get with the protagonist. Why not show rejection and healthy ways to deal with it and show that it's ok to get rejected and the world doesn't end and you keep living and that you can develop your platonic relationship with the person instead because platonic love is just as important
