being in love & his love language -

heid a very emotionally guarded man ( well, positive emotions anyway ) - he wont outwardly be soft and sweet with someone, nor will he regularly say he loves them. he's the type to talk through action and touch, a hand around their waist - lips on their neck. when he holds his lover's in this way, he's very firm and hands-in - he holds them as if he never wants to let them go. when it comes to being in love, heid will act cheerier and perhaps more outward / dramatic & theatrical but he's still very much the same to the people he hardly cares for.

to the one he loves - he clearly enjoys being in their company; he rarely wont smile when around them. he's never more than a few feet away from them. he, again, is very physical shows affection through touch rather than words. he will tease his lover and casually / regularly joke with them, too.

when he finally does say 'i love you' it will be done so dramatically and only in extreme circumstance ( like...a lover giving birth :eyes: ). he uses money for love a lot and will show affection through gifts and trinkets / riches ( this isn't out of laziness, it's because he doesn't know many other ways of displaying affection / love ).

strength. amazonian women. women who can hold their own and are in charge of somewhere / something. he likes women who are forward thinking and can take a stage. a woman who commands respect ( while not necessarily being loud and forthrite ) - just, a woman who's tough. he likes most body shapes but certainly leans toward curvaceous. i'd say he's probably an ass man - he likes dark hair and dark eyes but is a sucker for a blonde ( as we both know smh ).

in terms of men; he's only attracted to men he considers 'worthy'. heid's not going to be banging any twinks anytime soon ( unless he's at a club and it's heavily plotted lol ). he's attracted to, again, people who can hold his own and actually offer him a challenge. he likes a battle ( even in love / romance ! )

god im gonna be honest i put off this show for so long cause i just didnt think i would like but im SO glad i was wrong. i cant explain it but so many things just mean the world to me: the plight of zaun, viktor’s entire character arc, the whole show being about the lengths people will go for love. it’s so cathartic to see people go through the worst time in their lives and still find these little slivers and happiness and humanity in all the chaos.

starting out, i really thought that jinx was gonna be my favorite, but jayce and vi absolutely stole the show for me by the end of season 2. jayce’s character specifically went in such a surprising direction for me that i absolutely loved. sevika is also VERY high up on my list (not surprising at all). AND EKKO. LITERALLY SAVED THE WORLD SINGLEHANDEDLY I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

im a bit more ambivalent to cait and mel cause their storylines just didnt hit as hard for me (not sure why?? i guess i just didnt gravitate towards them) HOWEVER mel has the most beautiful character design ive ever seen in any piece of media. down to the placement of her jewelry and her mage tattoos.

me and rhe bestie were talking about this earlier but jayce and viktor’s relationship is probably my fav fictional relationship i’ve ever seen. i’m a bit biased cause there are a lot of parallels between us and them, but i cannot put into words how beautifully done their dynamic was. god i wanna watch the show again just for them.

surprisingly i didnt outright hate anybody, even the villains. silco had justifiable reasons to do what he did, at least when u put urself in his shoes, and ambessa is ambessa so i cant be mad at her.

oh and i trust vi to hold my drink. butch lesbian who fights for a living with a cop gf. obvious choice

my bed <3 it’s where the magic happens (sleep). also there’s this trail behind some of the houses across the street from me that is now blocked off and you have to jump fences to get to these days, but it is so pretty and full of flowers and a lot of wildlife tends to be there (foxes, raccoons, rabbits, etc) and it always makes me feel like i’m somewhere else completely.
